Apostate: Hate of the west and western values has been
growing for a long time. Quranic verses like 3:151,
8:12, 9:14, and 19:83 are being utilized more and more
as a rationale for war and terrorism against the
infidels. When a Muslim hears such verses, the
conscience is numbed, all logic is suppressed, and
romantic visions of martyrdom are seen. If World War 3
begins, it will be a Muslim that launches the first
nuke, guaranteed, joyously content that he is
fulfilling Allah's decree.

Apostate: Those who feel the greatest threat are the
Saudis. Make no mistake about it; Islam is THEIR
religion. Muhammad was a Saudi. Muhammad's grave is in
Saudi. Mecca, the global focal point, is in Saudi. The
language of the Quran is closest to the Saudi dialect.
All early Islamic history took place in Saudi. Islam
is THEIR religion. The connection a Saudi feels to the
faith is beyond comprehension for any other Muslim or
non-Muslim. Islam is virtually in the Saudi DNA. How
can such a mind be freed?

Apostate: It is this unique primal connection to Islam
that can radicalize the Saudi mind to the very
extreme. The Saudis perceive a threat to Islam like no
other Muslim can, and they are the fiercest in
protecting it. September 11, 2001 bears witness to
this fact. Osama bin Laden, world's biggest terrorist
and 9/11 mastermind, is Saudi. Of the 19 hijackers, 15
were Saudi.

Apostate: Yet the Muslim Umma still sleeps...
dreaming... awaiting the return of Jesus Christ and
the End of the world. They see the current state of
the world as a sign that the End approaches, little
realizing that the End foretold by Muhammad should
have already come some 1300 years ago. What approaches
now is the End of Islam, yet they know not. The time
for finger-pointing and denial is over. It's time to
get our heads out of the sand, and face the truth.
This is our mess, and we must clean it up.

Morpheus: It's another training program designed to
teach you one thing: if you're not one of us, you're
one of them.

Neo: What are they?

Morpheus: Sentient programs.

Apostate: The Clergy: mullahs, ayatollahs, clerics,
priests, rabbis.

Morpheus: They can move in and out of any software
still hardwired to their system.

Apostate: They can possess the mind of any believer
through their preaching, making them fierce and
radical. The believer's religious fervor fuels the
rage, and grants the believer super strength.

Morpheus: That means that anyone we haven't
unplugged... is potentially an agent. Inside the
Matrix... they are everyone... and they are no one.

Apostate: Any Muslim is potentially a radical. Even
the most liberal can become fundamental, given the
right circumstances. It is impossible to predict who
will be influenced next by the clergy.

Morpheus: We have survived by hiding from them... by
running from them...

Apostate: Most apostates of Islam have survived by
hiding from the clergy... primarily in western
countries.

Morpheus: But they are the gatekeepers.

Apostate: But they are at the highest rank.

Morpheus: They're guarding all the doors. They're
holding all the keys.

Apostate: They are the guardians of the faith. They
hold ultimate power and influence.

Morpheus: Which means that sooner or later, someone is
going to have to fight them.

Apostate: Which means that sooner or later, someone
MUST remove the clergy from power, in order to
eradicate the religion.

Apostate: In an age of nuclear weapons, Islam is the
single biggest threat to the survival of the human
race. It must be eradicated. It cannot be reformed,
for how can the literal word of Allah be modified?
Islam is an ideology as evil as Nazism, but one much
more deceptive since it masquerades as a religion.

Neo: Someone?

Morpheus: I won't lie to you, Neo. Every single man or
woman who has stood their ground, everyone who has
fought an agent, has died.

Morpheus: But where they have failed, you will
succeed.

Neo: Why?

Morpheus: I've seen an agent punch through a concrete
wall. Men have emptied entire clips at them and hit
nothing but air.

Apostate: Not much can beat a religious zealot that
fights with full passion and unbridled fury.

Morpheus: Yet their strength and speed are still based
in a world built on rules.

Apostate: Despite their power, the clergy must still
abide by the rules of the system... the doctrines of
their religion. They themselves are enslaved by their
religion. They are boxed in, with fixed boundaries and
finite options.  

Morpheus: Because of that... they will never be as
strong or as fast as you can be.

Apostate: Because of that... you can be much more
powerful, with limitless boundaries and infinite
options.

Neo: What are you trying to tell me? That I can dodge
bullets?

Morpheus: No, Neo. I'm trying to tell you that when
you're ready... you won't have to.

Apostate: When you're ready... from the perspective of
the clergy, you will resemble a god.

[In the Matrix]

Oracle: Do you know what that means? It's Latin. it
means "Know Thyself"

Apostate: "Know yourself, and you shall come to know
others." This principle has Greek roots, and serves as
the foundation of western humanism. A similar
principle is the Golden Rule, "do unto others as you
would have them do unto you." Inversely, "don't do
unto others as you would not have them do unto you."
These principles are based on the fundamental human
capacity for empathy, our ability to empathize with
one another. Utilizing its ability to empathize,
humanity can derive a code of ethics far superior to
one established through "revelation". For instance,
both Islam and Christianity permit slavery. Do you
want to be enslaved? Then why would you EVER enslave
another human being? This is the ONLY way for humanity
to move forward, by abandoning the antiquated and
barbaric code of ethics that religions attempt to
propagate. Religious ethics serve only to divide
humanity into "believer versus infidel", "Muslim
versus Jew", "us versus them", "pure versus impure",
"straight versus gay". Indeed, what religions truly
propagate is hate, intolerance, injustice, and
dehumanization.

Agent Smith: Which is of course what this is all
about. Evolution, Morpheus, Evolution.

Apostate: Indeed, it is all about Evolution. Evolution
is real. Evolution happened, and is still happening.
When Darwin first proposed it 1859, the Big Picture
was blurry and out of focus. Today, however, the
Picture is very clear, and only gets sharper with
time. Evolution is a fact. The human embryo has a tail
in several stages of development, which later
regresses. The human eye provides the strongest
evidence yet. Its structure refutes creation.

Apostate: Evolution is the truth, and the truth can
never be suppressed. Religion has always attempted to
suppress the truth, not seek it. If it weren't for
naturalists and scientists attempting to understand
the world rationally, progress would never have been
made. For instance, at a time when the earth was
believed to be the center of the solar system, a view
held by the Catholic Church, Galileo argued that
instead the sun was at the center. Galileo was
condemned for heresy, the teaching of his theory was
banned, and the Inquisition was sent after him. Later,
the works of Isaac Newton forced the Church to
capitulate. Of course, falsehood must always yield to
truth. Those who suppress the truth shall give way to
those who embrace it. For above all else, the human
mind cherishes truth.

Agent Smith: Like the dinosaur. Look out that window.
You had your time. The future is our world, Morpheus.
The future is our time.

Apostate: Like the dinosaur, Religion will go extinct.
It's simply a matter of time. Religion has had its
day. It has served its purpose. It was created to
control us. It explained a world we did not
understand. It's a reflection of our own inner self.
The sooner we come to grips with this, the sooner we
can improve our lives, the lives of our children, and
the lives of our fellow human beings. Be Galileo, not
the Church. Be an optimist, not a pessimist. Look to
the future, not to the past. The future belongs to the
free thinkers.

Morpheus: Neo, sooner or later you're going to realize
just as I did... there's a difference between knowing
the path... and walking the path.

Apostate: You know the path now. It is before you,
clear as day. Walk the path. Take the first step. Free
your mind. Then free other minds. Be the change you
wish to see in the world.

Neo: I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I
know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us. You're
afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't
come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came
here to tell you how its going to begin. I'm going to
hang up this phone. And then I'm going to show these
people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to
show them a world... without you. A world without
rules or controls, without borders or boundaries. A
world where anything is possible. Where we go from
there... is a choice I leave to you.

Apostate: Come. Free your mind. Do not fear change.
Embrace it! Envision a world without Religion, where
anything is possible. Think free... think different...
think infinite. Let's leave the caves behind us, for
our destiny is among the stars. To boldly go where no
one has gone before. Others like us are out there...
waiting for us. Let's break free of the chains that
enslave us. There shall be no Judgement Day, for the
future's not set. There's no fate but what we make for
ourselves.
