The Islamic Dilemma Just Got More Complex
French authorities are investigating after a police officer was stabbed by a woman in Bordeaux on Monday.
Prosecutors say the woman “threw herself” at the official while “armed with knives” at her home. She later stabbed the officer in the leg, while shouting “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is the greatest) multiple times during the incident, prosecutors added. The woman was shot and seriously injured by another police officer after the stabbing.
Many in France, and for that matter, the entire West are grappling as to how such violent Muslims have been able to gain a foothold in our society. We know of Islamists’ present-day means to get government officials to capitulate to their whims through lobbying and the mainstream media, presenting themselves as victims of the same Western society that has helped them. Such pretentious cry was recently made by Long Island University political science associate professor Dahlia Fahmy, who notwithstanding her constant defense of radical, antisemitic U.S. House Representative Ilhan Omar, has convinced many that Omar “has endured a campaign of hate and defamation.”
The Islamic dilemma, which keeps getting heavier, is in part to to a willful lack of circumspection and foresightedness.
Back in the 1970s, the late French Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre said:
“As long as Muslims are an insignificant minority in a Christian country they can live in peace. But as soon as their numbers multiply, they become aggressive and hostile to European civilization. Examples are abundant. They will transform churches into mosques. They will infiltrate government. When they reach 25–30 percent of the population, we will either have to convert, leave the country, or become their slaves. This is the profound nature of Islam and it never changes.”
Since its foundation, Islam has always been transnational as it spread across the world, when the nation-state and national identity were at best inchoate and more often nonexistent. This has impelled many Muslims, regardless of their views of democracy, to utilize the democratic instruments of pluralism and freedom of expression to insert themselves into society with the goal of propagating Islam at the expense of others. The most salient example has been the election of Ilhan Omar to the House of Representatives. Notwithstanding marrying her own brother, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, to get him a green card to the U.S., even before being sworn into Congress on a Quran, she successfully demanded that Congress reverse a 181-year ban on the wearing of any headgear on the floor of Congress. In her case, she was able to wear the hijab, a piece of religious attire, when lawmakers cannot even display a cross.
Like a Trojan horse, Islamists have been able to infiltrate, for example, the Western field of education, creating an environment of receptivity and understanding for the next generation of Americans to accept their sharia-based lifestyle. While the the U.S. and Europe has been concerned over Iran’s harnessing nuclear power, and rightly so, other Islamist counties like Saudi Arabia and Turkey have financed institutions alongside multitudes of other Islamic organizations across the world and within the U.S. and Western Europe—since 2003 they have financed the construction of at least 80 percent of 1,200 mosques operating in America. Qatar’s equal vision for America is being peddled through our children’s classrooms, targeting a pliable population with a long shelf life.
And the problem seems to be getting worse by the minute.
Just few days ago, right in the center of New York City, Arab Muslims harassed and inured a Jew screaming “Allahu Akbar” and other curses—he apparently got caught in the middle of an ant-Israeli protest. The policemen whisked the man away to try to protect him, even though they hardly did anything to stop the mob.
This does not, in any way shape or form, give the green light to return evil for evil, specifically against those Muslims who detest and fight against such acts. That being said, it must also be recognized that such violence in inherent to Islam because of the numerous Quran verses and hadiths that compel unreasonable Muslims to take the sword against non-Muslims:
- Fighting [warfare] has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. —Sura 2, 216
- It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he had made a great slaughter in the land…” —Sura 8, 67
- And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists [Christians and Jews] wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. —Sura 9, 5
- Allah’s Apostle said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.” —Sahih al-Bukhari 52, 177
- Allah’s Apostle said: “I have been made victorious with terror.” —Sahih al-Bukhari 52, 122
When immigrants arrived to America via New York Harbor between the latter half of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th centuries, they were greeted by the Statue of Liberty with the words that represent the American spirit “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” Today, however, the U.S. attitude towards newcomers has changed. We the American people, along with Europeans, have grown deeply concerned over the obvious metamorphosis of nature and the types of immigration, which continues to threaten our way of life. This is not a position against foreigners preserving some of their cultural or religious traditions in as much as the non-conformist mentality from migrants and refugees stemming from Muslim countries.
As already highlighted, there are many Muslims who seek to flee from the draconian sharia rules in their native countries with the hope of creating a new and dignified life. This is an obligation that is owed to them. At the same time, others migrate because of the Hijra doctrine (patterned on the migration of Muhammad to Medina from Mecca in 622). As compelled by Islamists: imams, Islamic rights activists, and extremists, they feel it is their duty to leave (or are forced to leave) their homeland in order to spread the kingdom of Allah:
Aisha reported that the Messenger of Allah was asked about migration, whereupon he said: “There is no migration after the Conquest (of Mecca), but Jihad [holy war] and sincere intention. When you are asked to set out (for the cause of Islam), you should set out.” —Sahih Muslim, Book 20, hadith 4599
President Emnanuel Macron initially took on the Islamic menace in his country after a number of French citizens and residents were beheaded by Muslims last year, saying: “Islam is a religion that is in crisis all over the world today; we are not just seeing this in our country.”
Yet he has now threatened to ‘punish’ generals who signed open letter warning of ‘radical Islam’ stoking ‘civil war.’ So long as we as a Western society continue to play the politically correct game, we are just making the Islamists’ global agenda much easier.
