On al-wara wal-bara.

2013, 2^nd June. Abstracted “Al-Arabiya”. Scores of disabled people, several of them amputees, gathered outside a Red Cross office in eastern Afghanistan on Sunday to protest against militants who attacked the building four days ago… A two-hour gun and suicide assault in Jalalabad city on Wednesday left one Afghan guard dead in the attack on a Red Cross facility… The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) assists thousands of disabled people across Afghanistan, and is renowned for its programs providing artificial limbs and rehabilitation for victims of war and landmines…The ICRC maintains strict neutrality in the Afghan conflict. Comment: Why attack a group that helps your injured citizens? Answer: al-Wara wal-Bara (“love and hate for Allah’s sake”). In the view of some Muslims it is better to remain incapacitated than accept help from an “evil Kaffir organisation”.

On non-Muslims.

2013, 4^th June. British Imam Anjem Choudary: “Allah said very clearly in the Koran ‘Don’t feel sorry for the non-Muslims.’ So as an adult non-Muslim, whether he [Drummer Lee Rigby, beheaded in London by Allahu-Akbar shouting Muslims] is part of the Army or not part of the Army, if he dies in a state of disbelief then he is going to go to the hellfire. That’s what I believe so I’m not going to feel sorry for non-Muslims. As far as they [the beheaders] are concerned I believe that they were doing what they believed to be Islamically correct. Only Allah can judge them in the hereafter for what they did in their life. In their eyes they are martyrs and what I say is Allah may accept them into paradise. Mujahid [one of the beheaders] [is] a very nice man in fact. He attended lectures, went to demonstrations. There is no difference between him and many others who attended our activities.” Comment: From the perspective of Islam, Choudary is correct: Kaffirs (non-Muslims) go to hell, Rigby’s murderers were acting in accord with Islam and will be welcomed into paradise (in fact they are guaranteed paradise for murdering Kaffirs according to some views). Chaudary also clearly states that “many others” attending his activities are “just like … Mujahid” – i.e. they too want to kill kaffirs for Allah and the promise of paradise.

2013, 2^nd July. Imam Dr. Yasir Qadhi, Tennessee USA. (Note: he has higher and advanced degrees in Islamic studies from US institutions, source here.) “This is the definition of ‘Shirk’ – to make a partner along with Allah, then the obviously shirk, which is the opposite of Tawhid [Islamic monotheism] must by necessity and by definition be the most evil of all evils. As Jews and Christians are Mushrikoon [polytheists] in our perspective of monotheism as we have studied we can understand how only the Muslims are [true?] monotheists. And it is also the same reason principle that is the first obligation on every single human being, that he bears witness and testifies that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah…And it is because of this same principle of Tawhid that the Prophet has been commanded to do jihad. Jihad is a means and not a goal in and of itself. It is a means to establish Tawhid in the land. [Mohammed said] “I have been commanded to fight the people until they testify la illaha illa Allah [there is no god but Allah].” So the whole reason why Allah has created us, sent the prophets and revealed the books, and differentiated us based on this principle and allowed for jihad, is the basis and the principle of Tawhid. The life and property of a mushrik [one who worships others besides Allah] holds no value in the state of jihad….which means if they don’t say la illaha illa Allah, their lives and property are halal while in a state of Jihad. So the Christians do commit shirk, they are Kafirs (non-believers) and they are Mushrikoon. The Mushrikoon are Najjis, they are filthy. They are filthy, a spiritual filthiness which can only be purified by the purity of Tawhid. Allah calls the mushrikoon ‘najjis’, which is a very evil thing; when Allah says the mushrikoon are ‘najjis’, they are a najasa – filthy impure dirty.” Comment: firstly the Imam states clearly that Jihadis have the Allah-given right to kill and despoil non-Muslims. Second he states clearly that all non-Muslims (whom he calls “mushrikoon”) are “evil, filthy, impure, dirty” – a filth that can only be cleansed by Tawhid. i.e. either by being killed by Muslims or conversion.

On Islamic/Muslim Supremacy

2013, 29^th April. Australian Islamist Musa Cerantonio: “The military headquarters of the U.S.A. is in the Pentagon. In Islam, if a plane happened to fly into the Pentagon – would they be considered innocent or not? They are not innocent. These are the ones who plan the wars on Islam. Yet you find Muslims responding by saying that 9/11 was forbidden. Ask yourselves. I am only giving you what Islam says. I’m not saying anything. Ask yourselves…is it now forbidden? So even if you happened to be in the Pentagon on that day, you [should] realize that your life is at your own risk. We, living here [in Australia], in the land of the infidels… If the Islamic army or state were to attack, our blood would not be protected. Yes, they should not target us [Muslims], but if they happen to kill us – we are guilty of having lived in this land. It is a risk that we took and we are responsible for. So was the Pentagon a legitimate target? There is no doubt about it that it was a legitimate target. Yet you find Muslims mocking, attacking… By God, how dare you?… This is not our Islam…This is not our Islam, whereby you have condolences for three of them [i.e. Boston marathon bombing victims]. Of course, we are sorry. We don’t like to find that innocent people died – if they truly are innocent… But Islam has a way to go about this. You pay their blood money, and you get on with it. The blood of the Muslims is more dear. Comment: First note that in Cerantino’s eyes the passengers on the plane are not innocent either. Second, he comes close to declaring all non-Muslims guilty (since they are guilty of “Khufr” – disbelief) and third he states that Muslims are worth more than non-Muslims.

2013, 21^st June. Founder of Hizb Al-Tahrir in Chicago Professor Mohammed Malkawi: “After Islam had reached the peak of glory and the Muslims were masters of the world, there came a time when the infidels conspired against the Muslims, who were in a deep slumber. Britain conspired against them, along with Arab and Turkish collaborators and traitors, and ended the Islamic [Turkish, Ottoman] Caliphate and its glory. Ever since the Caliphate was destroyed, the world has lost an exemplar of justice, a model for humanity in its entirety. Since then, the world has been held hostage by wolves, who do not respect the honour of a man or a believer… Allah chose Islam to be our religion. We demand a state ruled by the Koran. Along came the rulers of the US, Britain, France, and Russia, who met with their collaborators and lackeys, and decided to sell us the religion of heresy. Let’s weigh things up. Let’s take the word of Allah. I’m not referring to you who have sold your souls for the sake of Allah [K.9:123], but to [those who have] a religion which looks like Islam, but in fact, has nothing to do with Islam. … Islamic law and the caliphate bring about the rule of justice. …All these other rulers are dwarfs— from Obama, the master of the White House, to the rulers of those palaces in the lands of the Muslims. They are all dwarfed by the Islamic caliphate and law. They say that the caliphate makes the infidels angry. Don’t we want to make the infidels angry? Isn’t this Islam? Let America and Britain hate the caliphate. Let Britain, America, and the entire West go to hell, because the caliphate is coming, Allah willing. Comment: Another Muslim leader clearly calling for the establishment of a world-wide Caliphate which protects the Mussalman’s honour (i.e. permits no criticism of him or his faith), the institution of Sharia law with its concomitant loss of civil rights etc.

2013, 14^th July. Abstracted “The Guardian”. The leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau: “Teachers who teach western education? We will kill them! We will kill them in front of their students, and tell the students to henceforth study the Qur’an!” Comment: Nothing like a good   education in Islam – no seriously, there is nothing like a good education in Islam.

2013, 19^th July. Abstracted “IsraelNationalNews”: Palestinian Cleric Al Hammouri “We warn you, O America: Take your hands off the Muslims. You have wreaked havoc in Syria, and before that in Afghanistan and in Iraq, and now in Egypt. … The Caliphate shall return. Our Nation will never be humiliated. We desire to cleanse it of the impure [i.e. non-Muslims]. We are the Nation of Islam – a giant and mighty nation, which extends from east to west. Soon we will teach you a political and military lesson. Allah Hu Akbar. All glory to Allah.” Comment: Pure un-adulterated 100% Islamic supremacism. Al-Hammouri is quite clear, he sees sword-jihad as the means to enforce the Caliphate “from east to west”.

On war, terror, violence and jihad.

2013 May 23^rd. British Imam Anjem Choudary: “What he [the killer of an off-duty British soldier] said in the clip which is being televised, not many Muslims can disagree with it.” Comment: At least Choudary is honest.

2013 24^th May. Abstracted “The Independant” U.K. Cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed has been secretly filmed stating that decapitation of the enemies of Islam was permitted. Today, in comments met with outrage, he told The Independent that he could understand the feeling of rage that had motivated the attackers [who killed an off-duty soldier in London May 22^nd 2013] and that what they had done could be justified under certain interpretations of Islam. And in this report (26.05.2013) he stated: “’To many Muslims around the world, he [Adebolajo] is a hero.” Comment: So much for the idea that it is “completely wrong to blame this killing on the religion of Islam” (London Mayor, Boris Johnson) or that it was “a betrayal of Islam” (U.K. Prime minister David Cameron).

2013 24^th May. Contradicting David Cameron, the U.K. Prime minister, who called the hacking to death of a British soldier outside Woolwich barracks, London “A betrayal of Islam”, the Al-Shabaab Islamist group tweeted via it’s official media arm: “It is not a “betrayal” of Islam as he’d put it but rather a “portrayal” of Islam. Don’t expect Muslims to simply turn the other cheek!” Comment: Yet another group of Muslims tells an ignorant non-Muslim that Muslims understand Islam better than he does. Another tweet read: “It’s a timely reminder to the repugnant lot at No.10 that Muslims are fully conscious of their heinous atrocities against Islam and Muslims”. Comment: Given that Muslim terror kills mostly Muslims, this tweet is grimly ironic.

2013, 25^th May. Abstracted “Daily Mail.” A uniformed French soldier on anti-terrorist duties in Paris had his throat cut by a knife-wielding man tonight. Police in the French capital described the attacker as a being ‘bearded, of North African origin and wearing a light coloured jihab’ under a jacket. The attack on a soldier in Paris was being treated as a ‘terrorist incident’, said a source at the Paris prosecutors office. Comment: And in Paris …

2013, 25^th June. Abstracted “Al-Arabiya”. Lebanese Sunni cleric Ahmed al-Assir turned his mosque into a military base. The mosque was used to store weapons and ammunition, including hidden stashes discovered by the Lebanese army. Comment: What was it Turkey’s Ergogan said? Oh yes: “The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers….” (2003) Someone’s taking him seriously it seems!

2013, 13^th July. Abstracted “Himalayan Times”. Abubakar Shekau, the head of Nigeria’s Boko Haram Islamists: “We fully support the attack on this Western education school in Mamudo.” The July 6 attack on a school killed 42 people. Comment: another mass-murder by Islamists.

On Muslim “hypocrites” and apostates.

2013, 10^th June. Abstracted “Ynet” and “BBC News”. A Syrian teenager captured by al-Qaeda linked activists from the “Islamic State of Iraq and Syria” (formerly known as the “al-Nusra Front”), was executed in front of parents for “blasphemy” after saying ‘even if Mohammad comes down (from heaven), I will not give you this coffee on credit‘. A member of the fighting brigade said: ‘Generous citizens of Aleppo, disbelieving in God is polytheism and cursing the prophet is a polytheism. Whoever curses even once will be punished like this.” He then shot and killed the boy. Comment: the boy was Muslim and according to the Salafists his statement was “blasphemy” (an insult to Mohammed) – hence he was shot, death is the mandatory punishment for blasphemy in Islam.

2013, 11^th June. Abstracted “Ahram Online”. Egyptian author Hamed Abdel-Samad has fallen foul of Egypt’s religious community by claiming that “Islamic fascism” could trace its origins to “the return of the Muslims to Mecca [some 1500 years ago], when they… destroyed all the pagan idols.” Before this, he added, “they had accepted religious pluralism in Medina… At this time, they had said, ‘You have your religion and we have ours’.” On hearing these remarks Assem Abdel-Maged, a leading member of Egypt’s Al-Jamaa Al-Islamiya, and Mahmoud Shabaan, of Al-Azhar University, declared Abdel-Samad an “apostate.” Shabaan declared “He has been flagrantly questioning Islam and thinks it is a bad religion, a fascist religion… His punishment should be death, even if he repents for what he said, he must be killed.” Comment: does anyone wonder why Muslim moderates don’t speak up?

On Islamic tolerance and equality.

2013, 9^th July. Abstracted “Algermeiner”. Turkish Prime minister Erdogan declared, “Kılıcdaroglu [a political rival] is striving every bit he can to raise himself from the level of a black person to the level of a white man.” Comment: thus Erdogan considers blacks an “inferior race” to “whites” – like himself. Such views are not atypical within pan-Arab Islamic society.

On correct Islamic behaviour and attitudes:

2013, 21^st May. Abstracted “Irin”. Nigeria: according to a Borno State Ministry of Education official, who preferred anonymity, Around 15,000 children in Borno State, northeastern Nigeria, have stopped attending [state] classes since February 2013 as Boko Haram extremists continue a wave of attacks, both at night and in the day-time, on state schools. They either stay home or are being transferred to private Islamic schools, known in the north as Islamiyya. These are private religious schools which teach an Islamic education. Many state schools remain shut because the staff fear for their lives. Comment: what a victory for Boko Haraam! Not only have they enforced the closure of state schools, they have forced children into madrassas where they will be turned into the next generation of terrorists for Boko Haraam.

2013 28^th May. Abstracted “Jerusalem Post”. The “United Arab List”, an Islamist party that tries to push for more rights for Muslims and Islam in Israel, submitted legislation to the Knesset, which, in the words of Ibrahim Sarsour would ban “any offense in any form – speaking, drawing – that harms people’s religious sentiments, whether directly or indirectly” claiming “a clear difference between the right to express opinions and harming religious sentiment. That is a red line, and there is no justification to cross it.” Comment: Setting aside the fact that Muslim Arabs have political parties in “apartheid Israel”; what we have is another group of Muslims trying to oxymoronically define “free speech” as not including anything offensive to Islam. The word “hypocrisy” leaps to the fore-front of my mind.

2013, 3^rd July. According to this fatwa, all insurance and specifically car insurance is “haram”. Comment: Does this explain the prevalence of uninsured drivers on the UK’s roads?

2013 6^th July. Abstracted Reuters. Afghani-Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid. “During the holy month of Ramadan, jihad has major rewards. And mujahideen will continue to employ all their fighting techniques to mount attacks on the enemy.” Comment: this merely confirms an observable fact: Islamic violence increases during Ramadan since Allah especially favours murder at this time.

2013 11^th July. Abstracted “African Manager”. During Ramadan, the ‘holy’ month of fasting, food consumption increases (as does Islamic violence btw) and special TV shows are aired to complement the ‘holy season’… Abstracted “Jerusalem Post”. Many Arab TV channels are showing a virulently and violently anti-Semitic film series called “Khaybar” during the ‘holy’ month of Ramadan. Sameh al-Sereity, one of the main actors in the show, plays Muhammad ibn Maslamah, the bodyguard of the prophet Muhammad. Sereity told an Egyptian newspaper the show portrays the evolution of Jews’ hatred of others. “The hostility between us and the Jews still exists. The hatred is ingrained. Neither Egyptians nor Arabs need this show to justify their hatred”. The show’s screenwriter, Yusri al-Gindi, said in an interview with Al Jazeera about the series, “The Jews are the Jews. … They corrupt any society in which they live…” Comment: Muslim life during Ramadan; fast all day, stuff your face at sun-down, then settle down to a nice evening of vicious Jew-hatred.

2013, 13^th July. Abstracted “Telegraph”. Abdul Qadir Jilani, a British Islamic ‘scholar’: “The matter of insulting the prophet does not fall in the category of terrorism. Those who cannot kill such men have no faith [Iman]. It is your duty, the duty of those who recite the holy verses [of the Koran], to kill those who insult Prophet Mohammed. [Also] under the guidance from Islamic texts [Sharia] it is evident that if a Muslim apostatises, then it is not right to wait for the authorised courts; anyone may kill him. An apostate deserves to be killed and any man may kill him.” Comment: what we have here is a rarity, an honest Muslim, telling the truth about Islamic beliefs. This went out on a Muslim TV channel in the UK. A bit of an “Oops, did I say that out loud?” really. This stuff is normally kept firmly in the mosques.

2013, 22^nd July. Abstracted “The Nigeria Today”. Prominent Niger Delta Muslim, Alhaji Mujahid Abubakar Dokubo-Asari, “We Muslims can marry girls of any age. People should learn to respect other people’s sensibilities…We Muslims have the right to marry when we want or give out our daughters at any age we want. It is not your business and the law must respect our right to do so. Anything short of that is an infringement on our rights. We did not ask you to marry ladies of that age or give your daughters out in marriage at that age. Respect our sensibilities.” Comment: Child-sex alive and well in the Muslim parts of Nigeria. Note that he does not say they can only marry Muslim girl-children.

2013, 23^rd July. Abstracted “AsiaNews IT”. Kurdistan: a Muslim ambulance driver refused to take the body of a Christian woman from the hospital to her Church claiming to do so “was forbidden in Islam”. Comment: Setting aside the inhumanity, the driver is correct. It is forbidden in Islam (i.e. under at least some Sharia law readings) for a Muslim to support a “Kafir” religion in any way, therefore he was only acting as a ‘good Mussalman’ should in refusing to take the body of a “najjis” (religiously defiling) Xtian to her Church.

On anti-Semitism.

2013, 28^th June. from a sermon at the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus: “Let us take a look at the history of mankind, which has recorded the true nature of the Jews, the slayers of prophets and violators of agreements. It shows how they have tried, since pre-Islamic times, to fragment, divide, and rip apart the Arab and Islamic nation. … They have two basic goals. The first is to divide the nations of the world, to pit them one against the other, and to spark war and civil strife among them. The second goal is to rip apart the nations of the world, destroying their notions, moral values, and codes, and making them stray from the path of Allah. That is what they did throughout the ages all over the world. Oh nation of Islam, the Jews have been tearing this nation apart for many years.” Comment: another “swivel-eyed loon” frothing with Jew-hatred. The problem is that there are so many in leadership positions in the Muslim world.

On homophobia.

2013, 20^th July. Abstracted “nowmedia”. Ansar al-Sharia gunmen kill one and wound another Yemeni Muslim accused of being gay. Comment: being suspected of being gay is a death-sentence in Yemen (along with a host of other sins of course).

On Islamic Politics.

2013, 12^th July. Abstracted “Egypt Independent”. Qalyubiya’s Obour City: a local imam from the al-Rahman Mosque has allegedly incited people to violently attack police officers and army soldiers in protest against the overthrow of Egypt’s former Islamist president, Mohamed Morsy. Comment: more evidence of the peaceful nature of: a) the Muslim Brotherhood and b) Muslim politics.

On the status and treatment of Muslim women.

2013, 27th May. Abstracted “Asia News”. Indonesia: The authorities of the district of North Aceh have issued an edict forbidding women to “dance in public.” head of the district of North Aceh Muhammad Thaib said that the way in which women dance could “easily fuel” [sexual] desire in men. And, according to the dictates of Islam, “this is not right.” Comment: Just burkha up ladies, you know it’s right.

2013 29^th May. Abstracted “Gulf News”. Saudi writer Abdullah Mohammad Al Dawood has urged his Twitter followers to sexually molest women hired to work as cashiers in big grocery stores via the internet microblogging service with the use of the hashtag harass_female_cashiers, to press for Saudi women to be forced to stay at home to protect their chastity. Comment: the “progressive” face of Islam – using hashtags I mean. The treatment of Muslim women is dreadful, of course.

2013 may 30^th. Abstracted “Pakistan today”. The Council of Islamic Ideology in Pakistan today has rejected the authenticity of DNA tests in cases of rapes. Members of the council said rape was a crime that required much care in account of evidences and DNA did not stand with “accurate parameters” as evidence for the crime. Comment: Under Sharia law four male witnesses are required to prove a rape allegation. (e.g. Reliance of the Traveller O24.9). This ruling then makes it impossible for a woman to prove she has been raped – whether Muslim or not.

2013, 10^th June. Abstracted “Washington Times”. Afghanistan’s parliament has rejected a measure that would have barred men from marrying girls younger than 16, saying the proposal ran counter to Islamic ideology. The measure also would have banned “baad, [the] traditional practice of buying or selling women to settle disputes,” and outlawed criminal charges being imposed on rape victims. Rape victims in Afghanistan often are charged with fornication or adultery. Comment: So in marrying young girls is fine, as is buying and selling women and charging rape victims with crime.

2013, 15^th July. Abstracted “The Clarion Project”. Hojatolislam Hossein Dehnavi: “ “One of the calamities of our society is that some women do not give authority to their husbands … One of the other duties of women in regard to their men is to take care of their men’s instinctive needs (sexual drive) … Women have to provide sex to their men anywhere and at any time”. Comment: There you have it girls, be obedient and spread on demand.

2013, 20^th July. Abstracted “the Hindu”. Hassan District Wakf Committee has raised objections to Muslim women gathering in a mosque at K.R. Puram here for special prayers during the month of Ramadan, as they have done for the past 8-10 years. The committee has recommended that Karnataka State Wakf Board take action against the mosque’s managing committee. Syed Khasim, chairman of the committee, held a meeting with Moulvis [senior Muslim clerics] in Hassan on Wednesday during which the moulvis are said to have expressed, based on the Shariah, opposition to women gathering for prayers in mosques. He said that the mosque’s management committee had not responded to their notice seeking clarification. He said that only a few members in the management committee were in favour of women gathering for prayers. Comment: Objections raised ten years after the event – why? Shariah law has not changed in ~1300 years! Ans: the Wakf committee is becoming more orthodox (“radical” in Western-speak) and now feels powerful enough to challenge this “un-Islamic” practice and put the women in their place (home).

2013, 20^th July. Abstracted “Emirates 247”. Pakistan, Maulana Mirzaqeem: “We have decided that women will not visit bazaars without a male relative, those who will visit markets without male relatives will be handed over to police. They spread vulgarity and spoil men’s fasting in Ramadan,” Mirzaqeem said, adding that the ban would be publicised using local mosques loudspeakers. Comment: Oh those dreadful sinful, “najjis” Muslimas! Spoiling men’s fasting by daring to leave their bedrooms kitchens houses without an escort. Whatever next, not wearing the full burkha?

2013 23^rd July. Abstracted “Radio Free Europe”. Afghan Mawlawi Enayatullah Baligh, a presidential adviser who serves on Afghanistan’s top religious panel, the Ulema Council, staunchly defended the fatwa issued by the Ulema of Baghlan province last month. The fatwa banned: women leaving their homes without a male escort, attending health clinics unaccompanied, the sale of cosmetics and ordered a “strict dress code” (un-elaborated) for women and well as threatening “punishment” for any woman who dared to disobey. Comment: Once again we see how Islam “advances” women’s rights.

On the status and treatment of all women.

2013 6^th June. Abstracted “emirates 24/7”. A study authored by Dr Ranya Al Faran and Dr Abed Rabbo Suleiman at Umm Al Qura university in the western Saudi town of Mecca found that the menstrual cycle weakens the woman’s “ability for the production of ideas, planning, strategies, organization, initiatives and self control. Women are advised not to take any crucial decisions in the last 13 day phase of their menstrual cycle as a result of the changes and emotions that arise during that period.” Comment: well of course it does! Every good Muslim knows that a woman is deficient in religion and mentality! That’s why they should stay at home, (preferably locked in) tending the kids and kitchen when not on bedroom duty. (I’m not sure how sarcastic I’m being…)

2013, 3^rd July. Abstracted “New York Times”. The Islamic law council of Aleppo’s Fardous neighbourhood:”Muslim women are banned from leaving the house in immodest dress, in tight clothing that shows off their bodies or wearing make-up on their face… It is incumbent on all our sisters to obey God and commit to Islamic etiquette“. Comment: Thus the Syrian rebels show – again – that they are hard-line Islamists as they institute Sharia law. According to the NYT this Fatwa applies to all women – not just Muslimas.

Ordinary Muslims don’t support these views! … Do they?

2013 3^rd June. Abstracted “Gatestone”. The article details how (Egyptian) Muslim kidnap gangs are targeting Coptic Christian children for kidnap, extortion and murder – after payment of ransom, or (in the case of girls) for kidnap, forced-conversion, rape and other abuse. The list of cases runs to over 500 in the years post the “Arab Spring”.Collusion on the part of Egypt’s Police and security services with the gangs is alleged, partly since no perpetrators have been prosecuted. The prevalence is sufficient that Gatestone regards it as a “jihad” against Egypt’s Coptic children.

2013, 4^th June. Abstracted and translated “20 minutes”. Barcelona Police have detained a man of Arab/Asian appearance for attacking the bodyguards of councillor Alberto Fernández Díaz, leader of Barcelona PP [Partido Popular: the governing party of Spain], and brother of the Minister of Interior Jorge Fernández this evening whilst shouting: “For Allah”. The knife (or metal bar/rod) attack occurred around 8 pm in Llibreters street, in the Gòtic district, and the bodyguard suffered a slight wound to the head from a bladed weapon. The perpetrator, who is suspected of being a radical Islamist, has been arrested. Comment: Another attack by an “radical Islamist” on unsuspecting persons.

2013, 6^th June. Abstracted “Darlington and Stockton Times” (U.K.). A Sudanese Muslim, Ziko Sulliman, is charged with knife attacks on two other Muslims who expressed sympathy for mutilated and murdered soldier Lee Rigby. Comment: another orthodox Muslim expresses his disapproval of the opinions of “moderates” (i.e. “hypocrites” according to the Koran).

2013, 10^th June. This video shows Muslim-Australians a responding to the attack on Lee Rigby, the British soldier mutilated to death in London. Apart from saying that their loyalty is “to Islaam” not Australia (Australia comes in fourth, according to one man: Allah, Islam, Muslims then Australia) they also call Rigby “a dog” – which is a dirty unclean animal in Islam. Comment: once again Muslims tell us that their loyalty is to fellow Muslims and that non-Muslims are “najjis” and deserve what they get – and no politician will believe them, of course.

Mostly for laughs.

Its not all doom and gloom in the Dar-ul-Islam. Some things are just too funny for me to ignore …

2013, 1^st June. Abstracted “Al-Arabiya”. Salafist member of Egypt’s Shura Council Gamal Hamed said: “[Ballet] is the art of nudity, spreading immorality and obscenity among people.” during a meeting of the Council. He also called for banning the dance because it is prohibited in Islam. Comment: I would be funny were it not so sad.
