  2. Ali Sina says:

A lot of things make no sense but once observed we have no choice but to accept them and then try to make sense of them. This is basically how all human knowledge has been gained and science grows.

Does quantum physics make any sense? It doesn’t and yet for close to 100 years scientists have been trying to find a way to make sense of it.
Virtually all scientific discoveries were made by observing something strange that make no sense and once the observation was made we did our best to understand it.

The fact is that NDE is undeniable. Anyone who looks into it enough will come out convinced. Should we deny our observation because it goes against our world view? That is not a rational thing to do. We always follow our observation and try to find how and why is so.

Yes indeed God’s ways are very confusing. Believe me, I am asking this question from God every day. So far some of my early questions have been answered. At least I think I found some answers that satisfy me. So I am hopeful I will find answers to other questions too. However I also know that we are supposed to not know a lot of things while still in this world. This is clear from what the experiencers say. They were clearly told you are not supposed to know yet, or we will explain everything once you are here for good, or we will tell you now but you will not be able to remember them when you go back.

I have a vague idea why it is important that we should not know everything. I may be wrong. I think the reason is that nothing in this world is real. It is only a virtual reality. If we know this for certainly, we lose interest playing it. If we take it seriously we will be playing our part enthusiastically as if our life depend on it.

I can see the result of this knowledge on myself. I no longer have much interest in this world and I don’t even care if I am killed or die. I know nothing will happen to me. So I have no fear of anything. In a sense this is a relief but maybe it is not such a good thing. Fear is necessary. It is by facing fear that we can develop courage. It is with coping with the difficulties and challenges of life that we develop spiritual qualities.

Many young people who had NDE lost interest in this world. They don’t find any joy in it and some of them committed suicide to go back. The problem is that those who committed suicide and survived it say the second time they did not go to paradise but to hell. So that does not seem to be a good decision.

God wants us to take this world seriously. I am taking it seriously as much as I can, but sometimes the whole thing looks so funny and hilarious. Do you remember the movie The Wizard of Oz? I feel like as if I have seen the man behind the curtain and this whole world has lost it awe and charm. I now know all the sufferings and all the joys, all the gains and all the losses are virtual. Wealth and power, prestige and success are only make believe. None of that is real. We are actors wearing different costumes playing different roles and when we come back we may play a completely different character. This time you are a Muslim hating the Jews and next time you become a Jew hated by Muslims. This time you are an abusing husband. Next time you come back to be an abused wife. In this life you are a ruthless despot, in your next reincarnation you will come to be a victim of a despotic ruler. It is all a game. Just don’t know why. Some say it is because we have to experience all forms of life.

I really don’t want to come back anymore. So I am doing everything I can to love in the hope that God says okay, you don’t need to go back to physical body. I can hire you for a managerial work. You can be in charge of other souls. I like that. I love it when I can help others and see them grow. So I really hope this is my last time.

Many people choose to come back because they think they did not have enough of this world, they did not enjoy as much, did not see enough, did not have love, children, or even enough sex. I have no desire for any of that. Helping others make me extremely happy. So I hope God will not send me back. Did you hear that God? Please no more reincarnations for me.

@Ali, I have no doubt you are sincere in getting to the truth. I am too, that’s why I left Islam.
But correct me if I am wrong. I am sure you also know very well that this whole thing makes no sense, god sending a guy to spread message of love , whose statements are not even recorded properly, mingled with the stupid book called bible with lot of crap and fairy tales etc. or according to you he volunterred himself But you are basing your whole belief on NDE, with out NDE you are back to being an athesits, correct ?

So basically in other words god did not try anything to tell us about his plan and also how much love is important to him, about we coming back to planet after death etc We finally thanks to NDE/Intenet figure it out our selves this secret plan of his. correct ?

Why will he make it so hard for us, If Jesus volunterred himself means God never asked Jesus either to do what he did, tell people to love etc. And at the same time god desperately wants us to spread love, with out telling us, that makes no sense does it ?

  4. Why says:

Everything can be explained by science. It is just a matter of time. And if humans will not go backwards in progress then one day, in the future, science will find out everything about the mysteries of this world. Hey, may be not the beginning of life. That is a tough one as we may have lost the pieces of evidence.

One last time about this topic: you say NDE is immaterial, so is Allah and so is Moh’s encounters with angels…

Keep this in mind: never give up to a superior power if you cannot explain a mystery. Because one day, that mystery will be solved, and yes, by science!

I hope you keep NDE and politics out of Faithfreedom, com.

    Cheers

  5. Ali Sina says:

I said NDE cannot be proven by science because science is the theory of matter while consciousness is immaterial. Science cannot even explain the behavior of particles. One can’t measure temperature with a measuring tape.

Anyway, I said all this before. Your problem is not English.

  6. Why says:

    @Ali,
Sorry I have not read your comment below about the Big Bang theory. I am sure you know what it means by theory in this case.

For your knowledge, the big bang theory has been tested and shows big promis and as of now it fits very well withing the mathematical equations… You cannot compare NDE with the big bang. Please stop using this kind of analogy.

I cannot believe you are trying to prove that NDE is rational or believable by asking people to read. What the heck are you thinking. This is why I am telling you you are loosing credibility when you spew hot air like this. Sorry to have ruffled your feathers man, I really do not care if you believe in NDE or in a God tree or whatever.
I guess, I feel sorry for myself that I cannot read your articles and admire them like before.

    Cheers!

  7. Why says:

    @ Ali
English is not my forte so your lessons about the words I used (like nice…) are not for commenting. But hey, that is your forte.

You have proven my point of what you are: arrogant, a good writer and a philosopher. But your logic on NDE is delusional man.
You wrote the truth about Moh but just spewing hot air about NDE. I follow science not philosophy. Of all people, you know better than this.
If you continue like this your work about Islam will be in the trash. I do not understand why you are angry. Chill man, chill.

Good luck with your movie and getting sponsors.

Another try: “NDE cannot be proven by science” What a load …

    Cheers!

  8. Ali Sina says:

    @ Why
Who the hell are you to question my credibility? You are just a silly guy and here is the evidence.

    “Muslim version:
” That Mohamed was lying or that his experiences (with Gibrael) are subjective, or that Quran, Islam, Alah, Gibrel, Moh experience is a real objective phenomenon.”
And how this should destroy my credibility? Yes the formula works for Muhammad too. He was a liar and a mentally sick man. I wrote a book to prove this. So there is no point assuming he was a prophet.

“There is no issue to believe in this NDE as along as you are a nice person. Which you are.”
That is another mistake of yours. I am no nice person. Check out the meaning of nice. I strive to be a good person.

“sometimes you get carried away and belittle your commentators.”
Only when the commentator is impolite.

“Many times you are way out of there with your thinking.”
And yet all you can do is insult but can’t disprove any of my arguments.

“I wish you keep this NDE stuff in your personal web site and leave this site for articles about Islam and its evil truth.”
I will do what I please and you are most welcome not to read. You come hear freely and can stop coming any time you wish.

“You can write or reason as much as you want about NDE. But it is not a fact as it has not been scientifically proven.”

I have shown the evidence that is irrefutable. You can deny them as Muslims keep denying the evidence. Your belief and conviction in materialism makes no dent in the facts. Truth is truth even when the majority doesn’t know it. In fact, as Bertrand Russell said, in view of the fact that the majority of people are silly, it is more likely that views of the majority be wrong than true.

NDE cannot be proven scientifically because we are dealing with a phenomenon beyond the matter and science is concerned only about matter. The very suggestion that consciousness should be verified in a lab shows the total lack of understanding of it. Just as we can’t measure the weight of an object with a thermometer we can’t measure consciousness scientifically. Consciousness is not made of matter therefore it is beyond the realm of science. The only way to verify it is to experience it with our consciousness. One way is to die, which is not very helpful for the rest. The other way is to die and come back. This is a new phenomenon and the only way we can determine the validity of the other world. There is not and cannot be another way. And so far the evidence is overwhelming. All one has to do is look at the evidence.

“Until then keep the hypothesis that you assume as fact to yourself and in your personal opinion and website.”
And you keep your advises to yourself.

“But if you are mixing Faithfreedom and Ali Sina site then good luck. You lost a reader.”
    Good riddance.

  9. Ali Sina says:

I don’t know the answer to these and many other questions. We don’t have to have answers to everything to accept fact. Take the example of the Big Bang. This theory is accepted by the majority of physicists and yet no one knows how it happened. The fact that we can’t answer all questions does not invalidate a true theory.

To remove doubts the process is simple. You have to keep reading. At one time I was a firm believer that Islam is a true religion. When I started reading the Quran I dismissed all doubts. I simply filtered out everything that could make me question the truth of this faith. I was not stupid. I was simply selective what facts to accept and what facts to ignore. The facts that validated my belief were readily accepted and those who challenged it were automatically ignored.

However, when I kept reading, and found more and more questions that I could not answer, gradually small doubts crept in my mind. That was the crack in the dam. After that it took no time that I could no longer resist the weight of evidence and had to acknowledge Islam is not just a lie but it is evil.

So when I started watching the videos on NDE, I was familiar with the process. At first I dismissed them. Although all of them were compelling, I did not give any importance to the evidence. However, one thing I have learned in this life is that it is wise to be open minded and don’t reject anything until facts are known. So I kept watching and with each story, my doubt was a little more diminished. Finding the truth about NDE was gradual, just as it was finding the truth of Islam.

After a couple of months of reading about NDE and realizing that the self-proclaimed sceptics have no rational explanation and merely reject the phenomenon because it destroys everything they stand for, I started accepting NDE as true.

Now I no longer waste my time reading the silly explanation of the naysayers. I read every argument they made and realized how close minded they are. It was in fact thank to this process that I developed my theory that very smart people filter out facts and make non-sequitore argument prove their conviction.

Some of these cases are irrefutable. A man dies and meets his son in the other world, when he had no knowledge that he had a son. He had an affair with a woman impregnated her without knowing it. He had forgotten that woman. Upon his return to this world he searches that woman. Of course she was dead because he had met her in the other world. He finds out that she had given birth to a son, some months after he left her and that the son had died at the age of 30. Or the fact that the blind people say they saw in their NDE. Or that people see their doctors working on them from above and then go through walls and see their relatives and report accurately what they were doing and saying.

They keep rehashing oxygen deprived brain creates fantasies. I am sure this silly response satisfies them. They are not stupid people. But when one does not want to see, no amount of facts will make him see.

The only thing that I can tell you now is that NDE is a real phenomenon. Consciousness survives the death. There is a world of different dimension. Many people with NDE claim to have met God, their deceased relatives and many also meet Jesus.

I read a lot their testimonies and although many of my questions are answered, some questions are not answered. Richard asked God, what about the meaning of it all. God laughed and replied, everyone wants to know that. Wait and when it is your time to come home I will answer all your questions. Here is his story https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAR5MpYNnRE

  10. Why says:

    @ Ali
” That these people are lying, that their experiences are subjective, or that NDE is a real objective phenomenon.”

    Muslim version:
” That Mohamed was lying or that his experiences (with Gibrael) are subjective, or that Quran, Islam, Alah, Gibrel, Moh experience is a real objective phenomenon.”

Again, Ali, you lost your credibility and now you are just preaching a belief (NDE stuff). You are a good writer like Zakir Naik is a good speaker. You know what I mean!

There is no issue to believe in this NDE as along as you are a nice person. Which you are but sometimes you get carried away and belittle your commentators. Many times you are way out of there with your thinking.

I wish you keep this NDE stuff in your personal web site and leave this site for articles about Islam and its evil truth.

Here is my reply in response to reincarnation or heaven first question..

    a) Let us suppose that I am on my 10th journey on life and death cycle to learn more on earth. In this case when I am re born I should be able to remember what I learned on my previous 9 journeys or else I am back to square 1. Also If i don’t remember what i learned on previous 9 journey, I may repeat the same mistakes this time. Now comes the real question. How many of us remember anything of our past lives? How can we be sure that we are not repeating mistakes of our previous journeys?

    b) Why do we take other forms of life like insects, animals etc if we are send on earth to learn? Brain of animals or insects or others are not so developed to understand complicated matters. If the most intelligent species on planet i.e. human beings cannot properly understand what the purpose of life is then how can animals understand it? Ofcourse not! In that case what is the point in making us re born as animals/insects etc? Just to waste time?

  12. skynightblaze says:

    4) I just saw veg Vs non veg statistics of USA reported in USA. Only 3% people are veggies. Does this look like encouraging statistics especially when you say that we are send on earth to learn? Mankind has been in existence atleast a few million years back. So after a million odd years, we still find 3% veggies. Is the plan of God really working?

  13. skynightblaze says:

    Hello Ali,
Thanks your replies. I give credit to you where you have found problems with my arguments and hence I will be moving on and skipping them in my reply. I will reply to the rest.

    1) I think I need to read more on NDE and the first time heard about it is from you. So may be I need to dig more. I brought Jody Long’s article and you have quoted some portion to put forward your case. Fine enough but things are more complicated than I first thought. Jody Long is quoting a study done by Van Lommel 2001. However there are critics of that study too. Here is one such link..

    http://www.skeptic.org.uk/magazine/onlinearticles/497-braithwaite-dying-brain

You can just find for the title “The study of Pim van Lommel et al. (2001)” where the findings of Van Lommel are debunked. Von Lommel was a proponent of paranormal experiences and it was refuted in the above link.

In short I think more study needs to be done before passing any opinion. The more I dig into this the more I find controversial opinions. This topic of NDE seems to be a subject of research in itself.

    2) You gave me a few links of people finding Jesus. A few links are not a proof especially when we are dealing with large amounts of data typically in millions and billions. The links given by you are experiences of people living in different countries but they are still a handful. If we can find statistics wherein we see that majority of the people in the non christian countries see Jesus after NDe then there is a point.

    3) Now coming to the vegetarian argument, I see there are a few problems.

    a) The bible allows you to eat meat of certain kinds . On top of that, if someone is born into a meat eating family, he/she will always associate meat with food. Its not their fault since their mind gets conditioned to eat meat since childhood. They are not even aware that their spirituality is going to decrease due to eating meat because no one told them.

Now let us say a person X lives for 70 years and consumes meat all his life. He dies and finds out after 70 years that he made a mistake on earth. Wouldn’t it be better If he/she was given a clear instruction to NOT eat meat instead? This would save all the hassle. The important question here is : How efficient is this process? In those 70 years, countless animals lose their lives and they are slaughtered brutally just because this process is inefficient. This seems becomes more odd against the background when christians claim that their God taught them the message of love and the same time creates such inefficient processes which leads to torture of animals.

    b) You said that that darker the shade of grey , the more difficult it is to please God. It seems that you believe that if we are somewhere in the shed of grey we make it to heaven. How does one know if his/her shade of grey is not too dark to make it to heaven? Where do we draw a line?Again we see lack of clarity in mentioning details on God’s part. This does not make sense especially when we are told that we are send on earth to learn.

    c) Carnivores like a Tiger/Lion/Leopard etc cannot survive without hunting. They are cruel and would not leave any opportunity for a meal. If the message of God is love ALL then what is the point in designing creatures who are not capable to know this emotion? what does he expect out of them?

Btw I am also a veggie.

  14. Ali Sina says:

“Then you claim those who have hatred in their heart will never go to heaven. Now each of one of us hates something or the other in life. Is it practically possible that we end up hating nothing at all?”

Anyone whose heart is filled with hate does not make it to God. Everything has degrees. We cannot be pure white. But the darker is the grey the harder will it be to enter the presence of God.

“Also when Christian God preaches message of love, is it only restricted for human race? Countless animals are slaughtered by humans daily not just for food but for other day to day products that we use. Our morality changes when we look at non human life and we don’t think that is cruel.”

Love and compassion is universal and it includes animals. Those who abuse animals, whether directly or indirectly, hinder their own spiritual evolution. Consuming meat, any animal product, such as egg and dairy, especially now that animal farming has become so inhumane and cruel is a huge deterrent to our spiritual growth.

Watch this video, if you can. https://www.change.org/p/gordon-food-service-help-pamela-anderson-end-horrific-animal-abuse?recruiter=101221485&utm_campaign=signature_receipt&utm_medium=email&utm_source=share_petition’

I could not watch it. But I don’t need to as I am a vegan already. But if you buy dairy products, eggs or consume meat, you are contributing to this cruelty and hindering your own spiritual growth. If you don’t care about cruelty to animals, you should care about your own spiritual growth.

  15. Ali Sina says:

“Now just as you dismissed a link of Christian boy lying about seeing Allah, can we also dismiss the link of your articles where a jihadi confessed seeing Jesus? These one or two isolated instances are usually lies.”

I see no comparison here. It is very likely that an attention seeking 12 year old boy lie. Kids that age are stupid and will do and say anything to provoke. He got his 15 seconds of fame and his lies were published by a gullible news reporter. He heard all these silly stories about 72 virgins and made up his fiction based on that. His tale is not corroborated by anyone including Muslims. No Muslim has ever reported seeing 72 virgins. In addition according to Muhammad the 72 virgins are exclusive for jihadis not for ordinary people. That kid was not even a Muslim. What entitled him to 72 virgins? The journalist who reported that silly story was stupid. Should we also abdicate our reason and take that story serious?

The Jihadi on the other hand has come back from the real death. He actually died and was about to be buried. And his story is consistent with what we know of NDE. For example seeing himself in place of victims and experiencing their pain is reported by several NDErs. And what would be the gain for him to lie. He was such a devout Muslim that joined jihad. Why would he denounce Islam and convert to Christianity when the pattern is that the terrorists return to their terrorist activity after being released from hospital or jail.

  16. Ali Sina says:

You would have a good case if you can show me that even in non Christian nation, we see a significant NDE reporting about Jesus. I don’t think that is the case.
    Maybe these videos help
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l-nbk_8EII

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TC-TLFYNCQ
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3shDa9bZAM

  17. Ali Sina says:

“If islam can be false inspite of 1 billion people attesting to its truthfulness why can’t NDE be false?”

You are committing the logical fallacy called false analogy. The 1 billion Muslim testifying to the truth of Islam cannot be compared to the testimony of two persons reporting an event. The former is merely a profession of faith, while the latter is eyewitness report. When Galileo built his rudimentary telescope and observed the planets and found out the Earth is revolving around the sun was the only person who was right whereas all mankind who strongly believed otherwise were wrong. His testimony was based on observation while the testimony of all mankind was based on faith.
Testimony based on faith is of no value and cannot be taken into account to determine the truth. Whereas we must not disregard eyewitness testimony of even one person, unless we determine he is a liar or insane.
In the case of NDE, there are only three explanations. That these people are lying, that their experiences are subjective, or that NDE is a real objective phenomenon.

  18. Ali Sina says:

“Now I just had a hunch that whatever people report in NDE is based on experiences of their lives rather than having any connection with reality.”

Of course each person’s NDE is related to his or her life. But that does not mean the experience fits their expectation of the other life. If this were the case then why atheists should experience survival and why a Jihadi see himself dragged into hell when he had been expecting to meet 70 high breasted virgins? No one think he will go to hell and yet there is a sizable group who say they had hellish experience.

I suggest your read a bit more from Jody Long’s blog. I think you are misunderstanding her.

  19. Ali Sina says:

This is what Jody A Long says. Taken from the link you provided.

“Experiencers were accurately reporting events they witnessed while in the out of body state during the time they coded. They couldn’t possibly know what the doctors, staff, or relatives were saying in the same or another room. Nonetheless, experiencers were privy to actual conversations and events. Dr. Ken Ring’s study showed that blind people can see during their NDE (Ring, 1999). There are reports from child experiencers that can recall NDEs like they happened yesterday. The youngest NDE reported to NDERF was at age 18 months old. The woman stated, “These experiences have stayed crystal clear and as fresh as when they occurred.”

These reported events cannot be explained by conventional “brain” theories, such as brain chemistry, anoxia, random firings of a dying brain, false memories, or wishful thinking. The model that best fits the data would suggest that the stream of consciousness that leaves the body does act like a computer hard drive with 100% memory recall. This is unlike the way the brain processes routine information. “

  20. Ali Sina says:

You posted three identical messages and all of them went to spam. Any post containing more than one link will be kept for approval but these went to spam box. I will have to fix that.

  21. skynightblaze says:

    Hello Ali,
Finally we reach an agreement that bible alone is not sufficient to find Jesus so we are done with question 1. This leads us to my question 2 regarding NDE experiences. Gallop survey says 3% Americans experienced NDE which is close to 10 million. I have to admit that the numbers are much more than what I expected and hence I decided to explore more rather than dismissing it all together immediately.

Now I just had a hunch that whatever people report in NDE is based on experiences of their lives rather than having any connection with reality. To back my point, I just did a basic search and found that my opinion is backed by Jody Long (a researcher in NDE for more than a decade) . Here is what she writes..

One of the near-death experience truths is that each person integrates their near-death experience into their own pre-existing belief system
More about Jody Long’s work can be read here..

    http://www.near-death.com/experiences/experts10.html .

Jody Long runs a site called http://www.nderf.org/ which has collected more than 3900 experiences in over 23 languages. This sets up a good background for Jody.

Now If you do a religious survey of America, 76% of them are Christians while 20% do not associate with any religious belief while 4 % people belong to other religions. Going by Jody Long and even my personal idea, it should not be a coincidence that majority of people from USA see Jesus in their NDE. You would have a good case if you can show me that even in non Christian nation, we see a significant NDE reporting about Jesus. I don’t think that is the case.

Now we come to the next point. Now just because 10 million attested to something, it does not make something as true. If islam can be false inspite of 1 billion people attesting to its truthfulness why can’t NDE be false? So are 10 million people lying? I don’t think so but I believe that it has some explanation. I do not know at this point because science is studying NDE and has not reached conclusive findings. I will hold my breath till that point. If science could say in the future explain these experiences by establishing some connection with neurons in the brain. If that is the case then may be 10 million people are just reporting a fact that is a part of our biology. So they are neither lying nor hallucinating.

I just found one link which speaks about explanation about NDE.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/scien … 58148.html

However the research I believe is still subject to challenge but I think this phenomenon does have an explanation.

Here is another link describing NDE of hindus which is different than christians. They saw hindu related stuff.

    http://www.near-death.com/hindu.html

So NDE thing seems subjective to me based on the religious background in which you are born.

Now just as you dismissed a link of Christian boy lying about seeing Allah, can we also dismiss the link of your articles where a jihadi confessed seeing Jesus? These one or two isolated instances are usually lies.

Then you claim those who have hatred in their heart will never go to heaven. Now each of one of us hates something or the other in life. Is it practically possible that we end up hating nothing at all? Also when Christian God preaches message of love, is it only restricted for human race? Countless animals are slaughtered by humans daily not just for food but for other day to day products that we use. Our morality changes when we look at non human life and we don’t think that is cruel.

I have tried to address all the main points regarding Question 2. I will reply to your latest answer on question 5.

  22. skynightblaze says:

    Hello Ali,
I replied to one of your post and its long since I posted a comment. Is it a technical failure or just that moderator has not seen the comment?

  23. Ali Sina says:

    @Skynihgtblaze,
“5) When someone dies do they first go to heaven or are they first reincarnated? If I go to heaven or hell first then the decision is already made. What would be the point of reincarnation in such a case?
If you say that I am reincarnated first before going to hell or heaven then it means I have a second chance to make up. This means I have a first chance where I can screw up things and commit crimes. How is this logical?”

Heaven and hell are not permanent. Heaven is waiting room and depending on whether you get a job it can get boring. Hell is the place of atonement. Eventually everyone reincarnates. Some people reincarnate immediately after they are dead. This is mostly in the case of children and those who died unexpectedly and whose time had not yet come. For example, most of the people who died in WWII came back shortly after as baby boomers. Others choose to stay longer.

After all these cycles of deaths and re-berths when we learn to become highly evolved, become filled with love, compassion, understanding, forgiveness, etc., there will be no lesson to learn in this world for us to come back. Then we move on to higher levels of existence.

  24. Ali Sina says:

    Hi Skynihgtblaze,

The Bible alone is not enough for us to see Jesus was the Messiah. It contains many myths, and much of what is said about Jesus seems to be taken from previous religious beliefs and incorporated into Christianity to package Jesus for the consumption of the folks of that time. Things like virgin birth and rising from death and ascending to heaven, or even multiplying fish impressed the 1st century folk but they have no effect on the 21st century man. In fact such stories raise red flag for us.

I did not come to accept Jesus through the Bible. The Bible was the impediment. I found Jesus from the testimonies of near death experiencers. I would have ignored these tales if they were few. But according to a Gallop poll 3% of Americans had NDE. That is about 10 million only in USA. The percentage may be smaller in less developed countries as the rate of survival is lower. Even then there must be close to 200 million people with NDE worldwide.

It is the acme of stupidity to claim all these people are lying. Someone pointed out that a 12 year old kid claimed that he had a NDE and he saw Allah, Muhammad and 72 virgins. We can safely say that this kid is lying. But we can’t say 200 million people lie.

Are they hallucinating? It can’t be that either because that would be unscientific and unreasonable. A brain that has stopped working cannot produce fantasies. Yes the cells are still alive, but they don’t talk to each other. So the brain as an organ is dead. It is funny that the proponents of such explanation think the belief in God is irrational while saying a dead brain invent lucid memories is rational.

What makes NDE irrefutable is the fact that many of these near death experiencers can accurately report what they saw when they were lying dead on the operation room and even what happened in other rooms. There is no way to explain this except by accepting NDE is a real phenomenon and not the trick of the mind.

Once the reality of NDE is established then one sees there is consistency in the report of these people. Many of them see Jesus. Some of these people were not Christian. Generally Muslims have unpleasant experiences. Not because they are not Christian but because they have allowed their hearts to be filled with hate of non-Muslims and particularly the Jews. You can’t go to heaven with hatred in your heart. Atheists go to heaven as long as their hearts is not filled with hate. But religious people, even Christians, who hate are barred from entering the heaven. That is why Jesus said no one will go to Father except through me. If you were to condense the message of Jesus in one word that word would be love. No one will go to God with hatred in his heart. That is not possible. Just as this world is governed by material laws the other world is also governed by its own laws. You can’t go close to God when there is hatred in your heart. This is not something that God can forgive or not forgive. God cannot do whimsical things or violate the spiritual laws. If there is hatred in you, you can’t get close to God, not because God judges you, but because hatred is a negative force that is repulsed by the positive force of love. These forces are not abstract ideas. Spiritual forces are real forces, much like electromagnetism or other three forces of the nature that we are familiar with.

I did not like the idea of God. It is not that I was a great sinner and feared punishment. I am just an ordinary flawed person. I am not great in anything. I disliked the idea of God because it did not fit my weltanschauung. I had accepted cruelty and injustice in the world. I did not expect justice from nature. But I could not reconcile injustice with a loving and compassionate God.

Sometimes we arrive at the truth through reason. But more often truth defies our reason. Most human discoveries are made through observation that contradicted our understanding of reality. The discovery of God contradicted my understanding of reality.

After weighing the evidence and realizing that I would be dishonest to my intelligence if I keep denying I had to accept God. But I had to make sense of the injustice. To find the answer I read more NDE stories and like a detective I tried to find bits and pieces of truth in those stories, put them together in order to get a clear picture. Even though there is a lot that I don’t understand, I now understand enough to be at peace with the general idea. I am no longer angry with God nor do I think he is unjust. I know the reason for suffering. I know the purpose of life and I know what I am supposed to do with my life and why I am here. In fact life looks a lot more exciting now, since I have found its purpose.

As for Jesus, many people who go to the other world meet him. God is not running the whole show. He has created an organization and has put souls and angels in charge of various departments. This idea was also completely contrary to anything I believed. My idea of God was that he must be omnipotent and hence does everything by fiat. Obviously that is not the case. He has an organization and assigns jobs to souls. There are ranks and positions in heaven just as you would expect to see in a corporation or a country on earth. Jesus is in charge of heaven. Even in hell the demons fear him and obey him. God has left everting in the hands of Jesus. This idea sounds so strange that I really have difficulty writing about it. But after reading close to a 1000 NDE stories that is the impression I get.

I wish people read these stories. Just search NDE stories and you’ll fine several sites, each with thousands of stories. It is possible that I am interpreting things wrongly. Don’t rely on my understanding. Read them yourself. Your understanding is certainly better than mine.

  25. skynightblaze says:

    Hello Ali,

Let us go step by step. Let us discuss one question at a time. I guess both of us know when to move onto the next question i.e when we have said enough on the topic. Now coming to your reply, you have explained how you would go about sifting between gold and dirt in the bible. I do not have a problem with that approach. I consider myself as an atheist (sometimes I am not sure as to what I am) and I too do the same. It is just that I look for variety of sources for my knowledge rather than looking at one single source and I just dont bring any God into picture. Pick the best and reject the rest. That’s the way to go ahead.

However your reply does not answer my question. The problem that I see here is that good things can be said by human beings too and it is not necessary they came from Jesus and hence you could be wrongly attributing credit to Jesus. Bible as I understand is a collection of stories on Jesus and written some time later by people. So, we are essentially seeing Jesus through the eyes of the authors of gospels. When human element is concerned, there is bound to be errors in judgement. A parallel example is of sufi saints who see spiritual beauty in islam. We all know that islam is nowhere close to spirituality. Now if we were to understand Muhammad or islam through sufi saints, we would totally get a different picture of Muhammad/islam. What is the guarantee that same was not the case with Jesus?

One can argue that since multiple people report the stories about Jesus, they are likely to originate from Jesus himself. But again thats not a sure shot test. I can give one such scenario. Let us say one of the authors of gospel number 1 wrote as how he viewed Jesus and his teachings and just like sufi saints saw spirituality. Then came the second and the third gospels whose base was the first one. You will find consistency because the first gospel formed the base of the other two. However the reality could be totally opposite or it could be also that only few stories really came from Jesus and others were figment of authors of gospels.

The bottom line is that it is difficult to determine if Jesus really said Matthew 7: 21-23. I would say it is 50:50. In such a case how can we concretely say that Jesus said this and how can we also be sure that Jesus was God?

  26. Ali Sina says:

“I expect God to have a better plan instead of this confusion if he was serious. ”

Yes you are right, and by the look of it God has a very good plan. This world is only a virtual reality, a blip in our eternal existence, but a necessary school for us to evolve spiritually. We need to learn forgiveness, courage, generosity, patience, and many other spiritual qualities. For that we have to face injustice, fear, poverty and hardship. None of this is available in heaven. So like an iron that goes into furnace and is beaten up in order to take shape, we choose to come here face the hardship of this world to get atonement.

  27. Ali Sina says:

“How would I know Jesus actually existed and was divine and not just a myth or a lunatic ?”

This one is actually quite easy. You will know them by their fruits. Anyone who knows gold recognizes it at sight. For one with spiritual understanding this question does not even arise.

however, a lot of stories surrounding Jesus may be myth. I just ignore them.

  28. Ali Sina says:

Yep! Very good questions! I don’t have answer to many questions. That is why I keep reading the stories of NDE every night as from each I can pick something and by putting them together I can construct an answer that may satisfy me to some extent. The following is only me thinking aloud. I may be wrong.

I don’t share the dogma of Christians who believe you have to believe in Jesus to be saved. I never read anyone saying I was questioned about my beliefs. People have had their life review and saw everything they did even this was not the same for everyone. Some say they just saw everything alone and there was no one present. Some saw it in the presence of others, sometimes angels, sometimes their deceased relatives, and sometimes with Jesus or with God, but there was no judgement. They only reviewed everything. Others said in their life review they became the people with whom they interacted and felt exactly the pain or the joy the caused. A few people say they did not have a life review at all, although most did. So, each case is treated differently. But all fall into the same broad pattern.

It also appears to me that God did not sent Jesus but Jesus volunteered to come. As far as I can see no one is asked to do anything. Even we come to this world by our own choice and often with a mission which we have to find once here.

I don’t know why the memory of our home is removed. I guess because it is important that we take this virtual world as real. Now that I know I will not die, I don’t care very much about this world or even if I am killed by a Jihadi. I also don’t care much about making money. All that lure of retiring wealthy is gone. I have lost any interest in traveling and having what people regard as fun. I forgave all those who abused me and believe it I have been abused. But I have done all these changes because now I know. In order to truly evolve one must choose good over evil naturally, spontaneously, without any expectation. I don’t believe in reward and punishment. That is very naive way of thinking. But I believe in evolution of soul, which is slightly better. Only when we can choose good over evil without any expectation or reward or promotion, we can grow spiritually. Choosing good or evil is not about heaven or hell. It is about spiritual evolution. And that regards not just humans but also animals.
Look at this bear saving a crow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSPgenqMlvQ

Animals are just like us. Youtube has hundreds of videos showing animals’ kindness. Animals don’t have prophets. And we don’t need one either. Jesus volunteered to come and help us in our spiritual evolution. No one asked him to do it. Many people volunteer going to very harsh places to help either humans or animals. They do it for love. No one asks them to do it. We are totally free to do what we want to do. We can choose to become a Muhammad, a Hitler or a Stalin or we can choose to become a Mother Theresa, a Gandhi or a Saint Francis of Assisi.

Some people who die are actually given the choice to return, which they often refuse, but then they are shown how their loved ones will suffer without them and this will change their minds.

Some people say they were not allowed to stay. One young woman wrote, she died was received by almost transparent spirit of a young woman, whom she believed knew. The spirit took her to heaven. Then another soul of a man appeared saying her time has not come and she should return. The spirit of the young woman wanted her to stay and this person telling the story also wanted to stay. The man gave a stern look at the spirit of women, as if telling her, not to push. He then told this person. It is up to you to decide. The dying person of course wanted to stay but she felt a strong pull on her shoulder that brought her back to her body. That pull was the prayer of her mother by her bedside.

In fact I read several people saying they were pulled back to life by the prayer of the people on Earth and could not resist it even though they did not want to return,

This changed my idea of prayer completely. I always thought prayer is something you ask God and he decides whether to grant it or not. It seems that is not true at all Prayer seems to generate a force that affect the reality. We can’t see its impact in the material world immediately but its effect in the other world is immediate. It entails that we can change the reality with our thoughts. That we are co-creators, partners of God. God runs the universe in great part though the souls that he created. We are responsible for our own evolution. God has nothing to do with how we evolved in this planet. The evolution of any species takes place when that species is ready for it at s subconscious level. We humans are in a miserable state, disunited and divided. Once we get rid of this stupidity and become united, we will have another evolutionary saltation.

Yes evolution happens by saltation. It is also gradual, but the gradual evolution as explained by Darwin is accounts for small changes. When enough changes accumulate there will be a sudden saltation. This saltation takes place only when the species is ready subconsciously.

You ask me these questions as if I have the answer. I don’t. The only thing I am certain of is that there is life after death. We don’t die.

It also appears to me that there is not much difference between the soul of an animal and that of a human. We are just bigger and that even animals have free choice. In fact freedom to choose exists in all spheres of existence, down to the atom and particles. Everything is alive and conscious. One man wrote in his life review and while feeling what he did to others, he felt what a tree felt when he looked at it with awe admiring its beauty. This is crazy. A tree is not only conscious it can even feel what we think. That sounds nuts but then again there was a study in 1960 demonstrating plants can read human thoughts http://www.viewzone.com/plants.html

As far as I understand our soul has been in many life forms. We were plants, animals and now we are human. We have all this information accumulated. In this life we don’t remember any of that. But these experiences keep accumulating with every reincarnation.

Now when I see a bird or an animal, I don’t see an animal but a person. Once day I was like him and one day they will be like me.

It also seems to me that we are free. I am actually quite sure of that. And we are not really separate from our Source, which is God. All of us, in all life forms and in all the universe are connected to each other.

  29. iffo says:

Ali you did not t answers my questions.
1.Is God serious about human salvation ? Why would he send Jesus 2000 years back when humans are around for 200, 000 years in present form.
    2. half of the world don’t even know who Jesus is, does God not care about their guidance ?
    3. Why he did not have a good plan for saving Jesus teachings? We have then is bibile written by people who did not even see him with all the mammo jambo and we don’t even know what is fact and what is just story and make people confuse and doubtful?
    4. How would I know Jesus actually existed and was divine and not just a myth or a lunatic ?er
    5. Why create devil and Mis-guide Muhammad, can he blame Muhammad and muslim who follow him

I expect God to have a better plan instead of this confusion if he was serious. I expect god to be billion times smarter than this.

  30. Ali Sina says:

    @ skynightblaze

You asked several questions. I will answer them one by one as some of the answers are long.
“How can you be sure Matthew 7: 2-23 is said by Jesus?”

The Bible is like a gold mine. It contains both gold and dirt. You need to know gold so you can recognize it. Not everything that shines is gold. There is also a kind of pyrite called fools’ gold. It shines and looks very much like the real thing.

When you read the Bible you have to be careful. Use your brain. If it sounds divine, then it is. If it sounds not right, then question it. Maybe you misunderstand it or maybe it does not belong to the Bible at all. The critics of Christ often remind us that Jesus said, don’t think I have brought you peace but the sword. They claim this means Jesus was a war monger. This is an example of poor understanding. Here Jesus was warning his followers to not expect a life of peace and ease but rather be ready to be dealt with the sword, be crucified and fed to lions. You have to look for consistency. How could a man who repeatedly talked about forgiveness, suddenly advocate violence?

We must apply the same method when reading the Quran or any book. Muslims tell us Muhammad advocated religious tolerance because he said to you your religion and to me mine. But then this is not consistent with hundreds of other verses that call for killing the unbelievers. So you have to dig deeper and find out the context of these verses. It is then that you realize they are not about tolerance but rather intolerance.

I always respected Jesus even when I was an atheist. I was familiar with those verses but only thought they were good teachings. Now that I have had my spiritual awakening I realize they are not just good. They are keys to eternal salvation, to the evolution of our soul, and to promotion in higher spiritual realms. Now that I realize the Spirit of God is in all living beings, I can see how those verses are literally true. I am older than Jesus, more learned than him, I have access to the Internet and live in the 21st century. How could Jesus know this when I discovered it only recently and basically through him?

You need to become a connoisseur if you go prospecting for gold. How can you find something when you don’t know what it looks like? First you have to be able to tell apart good from evil and truth from falsehood and then it will be very easy to find nuggets of gold in the Bible while leaving aside the dirt.

To become a connoisseur of truth you don’t need a university degree. You need fairness and the desire to find the truth. And just remember that it is you who has to adapt to the truth. Truth will not adapt to you. It is here that most people fail. Many people see the truth but ignore it and look the other way because what they find does not fit their expectation.

  31. Ali Sina says:

The argument that the brain deprived of oxygen can produce vivid and clear fantasies is not scientific. When neurons don’t interact there is no brain activity. To say otherwise is belief in hocus pocus.

Even if we accept this lame explanation, how do you explain the fact that many of the NDErs come back with information from this world, such as what happened in the operation room when their heart had ceased beating and their brain was shut down, and their eyes and ears were covered? And what do you say of the fact that in many instances these people saw what happened in the other rooms, which was validated by others?

Forget about being clinically dead. Let us say they were fully awake in good health. How could they see what was going on in other rooms?
    .

  32. skynightblaze says:

    @Ali Sina

I have a few questions for you and I will ask them based on whatever you have written on this thread..

    1) You said in one of the posts that we do not know what Jesus and what he did not and yet you have quoted Matthew 7: 21-23. How are you sure that Jesus preached that?

    2) Can you provide me the statistics of people reporting NDE? I mean we have around 7 billion people on this planet. You say that there are countless stories. Let us say that you have lakhs of stories of people. Percentage wise it is still not even 0.01% . It is very very less. Even within those minority people have different experiences. Even you used the word ” Most” people saw Jesus. It means there is some section that didn’t.

Here is another such story which says that a christian boy saw allah in heaven.

    http://dailycurrant.com/2014/05/05/christian-boy-dies-for-3-minutes-meets-allah-in-heaven/

If Jesus was the truth why did Jesus mislead this particular boy to see Allah? You have got to agree that scientific facts or reality is always consistent and is reproducible. Mix hydrogen and oxygen and you get water. This experiment can be repeated and everyone can get the same result. This NDE experiment is not reproducible. In other words it is subjective. How can subjective things be classified as evidence?

    3) You describe about NDE stories wherein people could do things that they practically cannot do. How are you sure that there isnt some phenomenon which we haven’t discovered yet? There were times when earthquakes were common and people thought it was an act of God but we know today what causes earth quake because we found the nature of things or reality. Same could be the case with those stories. I guess IFFO already raised this point.

    4) If God wants you to love then why do we see so much of cruelty in nature?. One just has to search for wild dogs eating impala alive video on you tube. The mere title of such a video sent a shiver down my spine. If God asks human beings to love each then we have a split personality God who sets such cruel laws on one hand and yet on the other hand asks people to love each other. This is not a desirable attribute of God and even human beings can set better and optimized laws than this God.

    5) When someone dies do they first go to heaven or are they first reincarnated? If I go to heaven or hell first then the decision is already made. What would be the point of reincarnation in such a case?

If you say that I am reincarnated first before going to hell or heaven then it means I have a second chance to make up. This means I have a first chance where I can screw up things and commit crimes. How is this logical?

  33. Fernando says:

I haven’t studied “near death experiences” but they are, of course, just that – not “return from the dead experiences”. I have got the impression, though, that there’s now a fairly solid medical explanation, involving brain oxygen deficiency or something similar.

  34. Phoenix says:

//If you want to be credible in criticizing Islam, you need to stop this non-sense of NDE in this site//

Why is it permissible to only criticize Islam when adopting Atheism? Did you know that an ex-muslim atheist is more likely to breed jihadis than ex-muslim theists?
I think your comment is proof enough that Atheists do not have the monopoly on logic.I have yet to witness one sound deduction from them in support of their beliefs.

  35. iffo says:

So you believe God sent Jesus to help us find the way to salvation ? And you also believe in heaven and hell ?
Would you agree that this God that you believe in is not too serious about salvation and guiding everybody to salvation ? Why would he send Jesus to one generation 2000 years ago and not worried about other generation to come. Half of the world don’t even know who Jesus is.What is their fault ? Even those who know for example like me , how would I know that he really exited 2000 years back and its not just a myth. Even if he lived , how would I know he was not a fraud or lunatic. Human being in present form exist for last 200,000 yeas why did this god decided to send jesus only 2000 years back, was he not interested in helping humans before?

Those bad people like Muhammad who you said was may be controlled by demon, what was his fault? Why did god create devil at first place to misguide Muhammad. It all come back to God himself who created devil.
A God who created over billion galaxies got to be smarter than this, if he was really interested in guiding humans he have to have a better plan. Especially this God can not be called a loving god who see innocent girl getting rapped and do nothing to stop it. Who see flood taking a baby with it, with her mother crying on side and do nothing to help, who see genetic disorder people suffering all their lives do nothing. How can he be a loving God? Have you asked yourself all these questions?

  36. Ali Sina says:

No there cannot be any explanation for NDE other than that consciousness separates from the body. Once you read or watch the stories of NDE you can no longer deny them. When a person is lying unconscious and her brain has flatlined, that person should not be able to see what is going on in the operation room. There are countless stories of people who not only saw the doctors operating on them from above, they even went through the walls and ceilings and saw their relatives in the other rooms, remembered what they did and said and astonished everyone for reporting accurately what they could possibly not know. There can be no other explanation for phenomena like these other than consciousness separates from the body.

Actually the UFO sightings and Ghost sightings may also be true. There are millions of people who claim to have seen UFOs. Sometimes a large group of people who are not related to each other see the same unknown flying object. It is just stupid to dismiss anything we have not seen personally. One person can be hallucinating, a few can be lying. But when we get to numbers like tens and hundreds of millions then it is sheer arrogance to dismiss all these claims.

I personally saw something out of ordinary that I cannot explain in any way.

Always research and do it exhaustively. Don’t read people’s opinions. Opinions are dime a dozen. Listen to the testimonies of hundreds and you will eventually come to see the truth of that matter on your own. With facts in your hand, you can then accept it or reject it.

Why I bring Jesus into it? It is because most people who go to the other world see Jesus. Some Muslims say Jesus saved them from hell. Jesus seems to be someone important. Now I don’t say you have to become a Christian. Your beliefs are never questioned. If you live a life of service to other humans and are compassionate to animals, you are okay. I personally accepted Jesus because I think when he comes to welcome me I would like to not hide my face out of embarrassment for having rejected him. I like to be able to look into his eyes and be proud for having recognized him. But to Jesus it really does not matter what we believe. He loves us anyway. As long as your heart is not filled with hatred like many Muslims who intensely hate the Jews, you don’t have to worry. Jesus will love you even if you don’t recognize him. That is what people with NDE say. When I hear these story from hundreds of persons, some of whom were not Christian before their experience, I don’t have a reason to think they are lying .

Jesus volunteered to come to Earth to help us find the way to salvation. His teachings revolve around love and that is what we need to get into heaven.

As for reincarnation, this too is what many NDErs report. Christians don’t believe in reincarnation.

  37. iffo says:

Sure i will read NDE stories. Is it possible there might be some scientific explaination for that which we may not know now but may be later. Just like people worshipped sun but now we know its just a planet. I saw these video but i thought it was just christian propaganda. You will find all sorts of videos people claiming they have seen UFO or ghosts etc. Anyway i can not reject with out doing more research. Muslims should be seeing these NDE too as most muslims are not good muslims and therefore are good people. What i dont understand why you bringing jesus into it.who was jesus in your view and what was his use coming to planet. Also this re-carnation stuff isnt this pure imagination on your part?

  38. Ali Sina says:

No I am not a Christian. If I were a Christian I would be a heretic Christian. No Christian will accepts my Christianity. I am a freethinker who pressed by the mountain of evidence accepted God and Jesus as the Savior of mankind.

Am I starting my own version of religion? Not at all! What I share with others is what I learned from hundreds of NDE stories. This information is accessible to anyone. I share my understanding. But why anyone should rely on my understanding? Why not read them and you may understand things that I did not. I believe I learned more about the nature of reality from NDEs than I learned from any philosophy or religion. So I encourage everyone to do that. Read them even though you don’t believe in them. A time will come that you can no longer reject them. I always said each person should find is own light.

Yes I do have overwhelming evidence that NDE is real. All you need is to search NDE stories and you’ll find thousands of them. You can also find hundreds of videos. I also explained why rejecting all these stories as hearsay is acme of stupidity.

Everyone can have NDE, not just Christians. As I pointed out in the article The Deceptiveness of Pure Reason, a Muslims Jihadi had also NDE. I read hundreds of stories of NDE. In fact I read a few every night. There are thousands of them online. I read NDE stories of people of all faith and also atheists. There are fewer cases of Muslims and I suspect the reason is that most of those stories may not be pleasant so the person does not want to share them. I doubt any TURE Muslim who follows Muhammad will go to heaven.

Don’t get caught in the stories of the Old Testament. Much of what you read in those books, especially the Pentateuch and Joshua may not be true. They are made up centuries later.

As for God seeing misery and doing nothing, this is a good question and it was a question that I too had. I think I found the answer from ND experiencers. I wrote two articles on why there is suffering.

  39. iffo says:

Has Ali become Christian ? Ali I am an ex muslim. Are you starting a new religion ? Because what you saying no one else said. Do you have evidence of people coming back to earth after dying ? Or just speculation. Also people with NDE are mostly christains, i wonder why.
You look like believe in Jesus but isnt he the same guy who believe in god who is not love but was and is brutal and was also god of Moses and Noah. He sees misery on this planet and do nothing about it. You can call him a loving god. I am an agnostic. I think there might be a super power who made all this. Thats where i stop.

  40. Ali Sina says:

You have no understanding about logic. Anyone is logical as long as they ignore some facts. Recently a Saudi cleric argued that the Earth is stationary and the sun is revolving around it, as the Quran says. He reasoned that if the Earth rotated, a plain leaving Riadh would never reach china since china would be constantly moving away. Is there anything wrong in that logic? No nothing is wrong in his logic. This can be proven with an example. A butterfly perching in the back of a moving buss at the speed of 100 km/h can never reach the front of the bus from the roof because the butterfly cannot fly at the speed of 100/km per hour. However, the butterfly can easily fly from the back of a moving bus to the front inside the bus. The difference here is that inside the bus the air is also moving with the bus. That is the detail the Muslim cleric ignores The atmosphere (air) around the Earth is also rotating. So as you see his logic is not incorrect. He is wrong because his information is incorrect.

Likewise, the materialists’ reasoning is sound. But they are incorrect because they deliberately ignore facts. There is no difference between the reasoning of materialists and that of the Muslim cleric. As long as we ignore fact we can prove any absurdity rationally. Reason without facts cannot lead us to truth.

  41. Multiple says:

@ Ali Sina, I once adored your logical thinking. But, now you are just as bigoted as Muslims or other religious people. I get drawn to Faithfreedom.com for the sake of old times. Now, that you became delusional about your rubbish NDE and Bible this and Bible comments, you lost your readers and credibility. Also, you are erasing comments that are not in your favor. Please come to your senses Sina and stop this delusion about NDE. Please!

  42. Why says:

Ali, Would you please keep this NDE nonsense to yourself or post those articles on your personal website. Please keep faithfreedom.org to show the evil of Islam. You really loose credibility when you mix your personal NDE belief and criticize Islam at the same time. Thank you

  43. Dear Truth
It is true that the existence of pain and suffering are powerful accusation against God. However criticizing God for not doing right now is like reading half a novel and criticizing the author for not resolving the plot. God will bring accountability at the right time. In fact the Bible says one reason he is delaying is because some people (like you) are still following the clues and have yet to find Him.
It is not logically possible to have free will and no possibility of moral evil or suffering. Once God chose to create human beings with free will, then it was up to them, rather to God, as to whether there was sin or not. That is what free will means.
It is your free will to eat chocolate all the time and become diabetic and amputate your limb. If you are not careful a vehicle may run over your child. If you go to a prostitute you may contract STD and suffer terribly. If you ask God why he did not create such a world, where man has the free will and do whatever he wants with no suffering, then it is tantamount to asking God why He did not create colourless colour or round square.
Do you want a God who can tap on your shoulder every time you make a wrong choice? Please remember if there is no free will, you will behave like a robot and of course there will be less suffering; hence the source of evil or suffering is not God’s power, but mankind’s freedom.
However Jesus gives another reason how more sufferings come to the world through “the parable of the weeds(tares)”(Mathew 13:24-43) The meaning of this parable is Jesus sow good seeds in the world. Later his enemy Satan sow weeds. The weeds could mean evil men, evil deeds, including diseases. There are many interpretations to this parable. Interestingly some say Jesus sow good seeds and Mohammad sow weeds.(the Gospel and the Koran) That is why Muslims hate not only Jews, Christians, Hindus and Buddhists but also every Muslim sects, calling names ‘Sunny pigs’ ‘Shia pigs’ ‘Ahamdhiya pigs’ etc Please read this parable which is full of spiritual significance and truth.
I agree with you, in this real world of pain and sufferings how can we worship a God who is immune to it? God will not be a loving God if He allows suffering and do nothing about it. Man was not left in the lurch as atheists believe. Man does not die like a whittle fly. God of the Bible promises that all who repent for their sins will go to paradise. In addition God sent his son Jesus as a suffering servant. He was born in a manger lived as a poor, whipped hundreds of times mocked and crucified. Have you ever pondered about that lonely tortured figure hanging on three nails on the cross, back lacerated, limbs wrenched, brow bleeding from thorn pricks, difficulty in breathing, mouth dry and intolerably thirsty, plunged in God-forsaken darkness? This suffering is called the atonement for your sins and mine. That is the loving God. Even in this horrible situation Jesus promises paradise for the repented thief on his right side. “Truly I tell you today you will be in paradise” (Luke 23:43)
Because of this picture of Jesus’ suffering and redemption Christians have built millions of hospitals, clinics, schools, colleges, universities, home for the aged, home for the orphans and maintaining them in more than 180 countries.in order to reduce poverty and sufferings. What made the unmarried young girl Florence Nightingale to apply medicine to the strange Crimean soldiers and inaugurate nursing services in the world?
Truth! Your name tells that you are seeker of truth. Jesus said in His great trial before the king Pilot “ Everyone who belongs to the truth listen to my voice” (John 18:37) Hope you will listen to His voice if you are a chosen person, because He said “Many are called but few are chosen” (Mathew 18:14)

  44. Why says:

Oh Ali, I once revered you for your logical and rational thinking. You are becoming like those religious brainwashed people with this NDE stuff. If you want to be credible in criticizing Islam, you need to stop this non-sense of NDE in this site. You can create another site for this. Again, as long as you are not preaching it like truth then good luck to you.
    Peace

  45. Ali Sina says:

    Sammy,

We really can’t be certain what Jesus said and did not say. The Bible contains many chaff. It is a gold mine, which means a lot of it is plain dirt. So if you exclusively rely on that book, you don’t get the whole truth and you may even be tempted to leave Christianity. Richard Dawkins is using the flaws and absurdities of the Bible to convince people that God does not exist and he is succeeding big time.

Furthermore, even if Jesus never talked about it, it does not mean it is not true. He simply did not think it is relevant. It really is not. Our job in this world is to learn how to love and be more like God. Whether we know that we will come back or not really changes nothing.

  46. sammy says:

Good post Ali,but Jesus never once talks about re incarnation.

If re incarnation was important ,don’t you think he would have mentioned it?

  47. Aryan Hindu says:

    Dear Ali,
I read ,you once said god is male. But in real world aren’t females more human and loving than males ? Shouldn’t god be in reality a goddess ?

  48. Aryan Hindu says:

The idea of gods associates is very strong in Hinduism.
In Vashnavism you can associate with god in 4 ways – Neutral , servant (not slave) , friend , girlfriend(all souls are conceived as female in relation to god ,the male.)

  49. Ali Sina says:

    Dear Old Man,

For years I reject Christ and God because of people like you. You and your kind are the cancer. Your bigotry and hatefulness towards all those who don’t share your dogmatic faith is the reason people leave Christianity.

It is my earnest prayer that God help me to set the record straight. I want to prove to rational people that faith in God is not irrational. One does not have to be a hateful bigot like this Old Man to be a follower of Jesus. That God is love and if you have love in our heart God loves you irrespective of your beliefs. You can worship a stone. and if you love others you are loved by God.

Matthew 7: 21-23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

  50. Ali Sina says:

    Dear Old man,

A liar is a person who knowingly hides the truth. You can say I am mistaken, but the charge of liar does not apply here because I do believe what I say is true.

What is the source of my above article? Everything I said I learned from the stories of NDEs. They are all over the web and anyone can read them. I read several hundreds of them. It is important to read many and find the common thread.

I never read anywhere anyone being questioned about his belief. Not a single person I read said he or she was questioned about his religion. Only those who did horrible things were judged for their cruelty to others. I read the stories of atheist, Hindus, Muslims, who were accepted by Jesus lovingly.

Howard Storm was an atheist. He went to hell not because of his disbelief but because of leading a selfish life, disregarding others. Jesus came down personally, grabbed him by his shoulders and pulled him out. Storm then asked what religion is true. (He meant which denomination of Christianity) Jesus said, the one that brings you closer to God. Obviously what we believe is utterly irrelevant to God and to Jesus.

I read stories of several gays who went to heaven and no one ever asked about it. Some of them came back and tried to recover from this. But that was their choice. They were never judge for their homosexuality

Well dear Old Man. I am sorry that your mind is so closed and I a grateful to know that our God and our Savior are above your pettiness.

Reincarnation is very real. This too I did not believe and I learned from the stories of NDE.

    .

  51. Old Man says:

You have thrown together a hodpodge of religious philosophies from hindu reincarnation to christianity.
The belief you are advocating is a lie, leading people astray.
    Where is repentance?
    Forgiveness?
Where is the Christ centered “I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the father except through me”?
Where is Christ Only in you excerpt here?
He isnt which makes you a liar.

  52. Ali Sina says:

Yes seeing is believing! The evidence of the survival of consciousness, heaven and hell and God is overwhelming. Millions of people have come back from death reporting the same stories. It is not hallucination. It is not imagination. If it were just the trick of the mind this ISIS fighter should have seen 72 naked virgins. http://www.faithfreedom.org/isis-fighter-becomes-a-christian-after-a-clinical-death-visions-experience/ That is what he expected to get for waging jihad in the way of Allah. Instead he was taken to hell.

There is one thing materialists have in common with Muslims. When we present a mountain of evidence to Muslims from their own sacred books, they dismiss them as “out of context.” With this magical word they think there is no point in further thinking. That is the end of discussion for them. When we present the mountain of evidence to materialist about the other world, they dismiss it with their own magical word: “hearsay.” With this word they shut down their minds completely, refuse to think how can a dead brain invent such amazing and intricate visions. How can the dead patients come back with information from this world that they could possibly not have, such as watching the doctors operating on them from the vantage point of the ceiling, going through the walls, seeing their relatives in the waiting room and reporting accurately what they said and did.
Yes that is evidence and denying it is bigotry. We have millions of such testimonies.

What about people suffering with cancers and other diseases and are dying painfully every day in torchering way a disease which sees no age or reasons, i think you have not seen people in hospitals, how some hate God and beleive too in fear , what about read it stories of paralysis just from neck break or spinal cord, what kind of creation your loving God has made that is so imperfect and once attacked could not recover, i see Sina you are now jusl like others want God as hope and made your imaginary world of love, always seeing is beleving, if God is and he is love then he should not suffer others with diseases and uncrable problems and he should not let innoncent and weak die in genocide, to hell with your logic of God love its only hell…..
