NY Muslim Yousef Al-Khattab Marries His Goat

A shocking story just in this morning. It has been learned that a New York
Muslim named Yousef Al-Khattab has married his goat in a traditional Muslim
ceremony in the main mosque of New York. Apparently, there is Qur'anic
scriptural support for this strange Islamic practice, dating back to the
time when Muhammad was hiding from his detractors in the Saudi Arabian
desert. Lacking a source of women on which to impose his sexual needs and
appetites, the Prophet decreed that female goats are lawful for marriage to
Muslim men, though male goats are not. The Prophet forbade
homosexual unions.
Al-Khattab has been criticized for allegedly practicing a fanatical form of
Islam, in which he openly and publicly celebrates Muslim murder of
journalist Daniel Pearl, Israeli citizens and American soldiers. Al-Khattab

A Sudanese Muslim man has been forced to take a goat as his “wife”, after he was caught having sex with the animal.
The goat’s owner, Mr Alifi, said he surprised the man with his goat and took him to a council of elders.
They ordered the man, Mr Tombe, to pay a dowry of 15,000 Sudanese dinars ($50) to Mr Alifi.
“We have given him the goat, and as far as we know they are still together,” Mr Alifi said.
Mr Alifi, Hai Malakal in Upper Nile State, told the Juba Post newspaper that he heard a loud noise around midnight on 13 February and immediately rushed outside to find Mr Tombe with his goat.
“When I asked him: ‘What are you doing there?’, he fell off the back of the goat, so I captured and tied him up”.
Mr Alifi then called elders to decide how to deal with the case.
“They said I should not take him to the police, but rather let him pay a dowry for my goat because he used it as his wife,” Mr Alifi told the newspaper.

A dowry for a goat, is it legal in muslim countries like sudan to marry goats, how about iran & syria & pakistan is it legal there too, no doubt militant sock puppet will be very interested in the legality of all this, gay marriages legal in most civilised countries now, now goat marriages, is this a islamic thing or will it catch on in the western world.

Zainab bint Jahsh was also Muhammad’s first cousin, Muhammad’s father (Abdullah bin Abdul Muttalib) was the brother of Zainab’s mother (Umaima bint Abdul Muttalib). I've read the qu'ran, I have it right here with me. I also have a copy of the hadiths, and the sunna. I have a concise, encyclopaedic copy of "Reliance of the Traveller". I'm afraid they all support the claims made in this post.
