It becomes quite clear from the words of Mr. Johnson that America (and one may add Canada also) while it succeeded in assimilating countless waves of immigrants from the old world, the vast majority came from Europe . Before the Immigration Law was drastically changed during the Johnson Administration, very few Muslims came to the USA .
