 Introduction

In this posting, I provide some worthy quotes of wise non-Muslims, and support their worthiness with quotes of famous Muslims.

This article is a repeat with additions of quotes for an earlier posting on IslamWatch. I have added to the postings many worthy quotes that the valued readers of IslamWatch added in their comments. Credit goes to them.

But first, I would like to ask the reader to join me in a good laugh about Islam. Please have a look at the picture below. It was taken in a specific conference held in Saudi Arabia last year. There is not a single woman in sight. Can you guess what the conference is all about (Answer below the picture)

1) Winston Churchill:

[Sir Winston, as an officer of the British Army, served in the Sudan and in the Crimean War; in both instances against the Muslims. If Sir Winston were alive today, it is doubtful that a person in Great Britain criticizing Islam publicly could be arrested, and then fined or jailed, and even more doubtful that any Muslims would be sitting in the English Parliament!]

2) Ali Sina (founder of FaithFreedom.org)

What god is this that demands beheading, bombing and terror and rewards the most beastly deeds? What god is this that sent a war monger, a hate monger, a mass murderer, a lecher, a pedophile and an assassin as a messenger to us? Was he a good example to follow? What god is this that would burn humans sadistically for billions and trillions of eons, for eternity and make them drink boiling water? The very thought of that is sickening. How can we let ourselves to be fooled by this blatant lie invented by a psychopath? Even if such deity existed, would he deserve any respect? These are all satanic deed. Why worship the Satan?

3) M A Khan (founder of IslamWatch.org)

On the ground Muslims expect unqualified respect for their prophet, the Westerners cannot show any respect to the Prophet on the same theological consideration. Let the civilized world take a stand against the violent, hateful and filthy teachings of the alleged prophet of Islam. Let us not validate the barbaric cruelty, torture and murder which the prophet of Islam had committed in the name of alleged revelation from God. Let us take a stand for the respect and dignity of those unfortunate women who became the victims of barbaric rapes by the conquering Muslims, including the prophet Muhammad himself. Let us also take a stand for saving the good future of our world by asking the Muslims to lift themselves to the standards of today’s civilized world

4) James Bissett (2002), ex-Ambassador of Canada to Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, and Albania.

5) M.J. Haipur (c. 1998):

8) Julie Burchill (1991) of Britain’s The Guardian newspaper, after the 9/11 terrorist attacks:

16) Kamal Ataturk (Founder of Modern Turkey)

17) Arthur Schopenhauer in “The World as Will and Representation”

1)      Prophet Muhammad

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand.” Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them).  (Bukhari: Book #52, Hadith #220)

2)      Louis Farrakhan (1997, in Harlem):

“A decree of death has been passed on America. The judgment of God has been rendered, and she must be destroyed.”

3)      Muammar Kaddafi (1997, after meeting with Louis Farrakhan):

“We are used to facing the United States as a fortress from the outside. Now we are finding a breach to penetrate the country (the U.S.) and confront it from within.”

4)      Al-Akhbar, Egypt’s second-most influential newspaper, in 2001:

“Our thanks go to the late Hitler, who wrought in advance the vengeance of the Palestinians upon the most despicable villains on the face of the earth. However, we rebuke Hitler for the fact that the vengeance was insufficient.“

5)      Mustq Aksari (2001) – Al-Badr spokesman on CNN 8 days after 9/11:

6)      King Ibn Saud (1937) – King of Saudi Arabia at the time:

“Verily, the word of Allah teaches us, and we implicitly believe it, that for a Muslim to kill a Jew, or for him to be killed by a Jew, ensures him immediate entry into Heaven and into the august presence of Allah.”

7)      Ayatollah Khomeini (1982):

“We are not afraid of economic sanctions or military intervention. What we are afraid of is Western universities.”

8)      Sa’id Raja’i Khorassani (1985), Iranian delegate to the UN:

“The very concept of human rights is a Judeo-Christian invention and inadmissible in Islam.”

9)      Muhammad al-Arifi (Saudi Cleric)

Saudi Muslim cleric Mohammed al-Arifi said: “Devotion to Jihad for the sake of Allah, and the desire to shed blood, to smash skulls and to sever limbs for the sake of Allah and in defense of His religion, is, undoubtedly, an honor for the believer.”

10)   Tripoli’s London Ambassador Abd al-Rahman to Thomas Jefferson & John Adams (1786) on “by what right do the Barbary States enslaved American seamen”

“It is written in the Quran that all Nations who should not have acknowledged their (Muslims) authority were sinners; that it was their right and duty to make war upon whoever they could find and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners; and that every Mussulman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.” —.

11)   Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini

“Those who know nothing about Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those people are witless.
