Islamic Tolerance 101

by Vernon Richards

Lions and Tigers and Cartoons, Oh my! Once again the world is tossed into the land of Oz by the minions of the wicked witch of the East. A caricature of Muhammad has been rendered and published! Oh goodness gracious, is it time to riot, again, so soon? Yes grab your pitchforks and gasoline brothers, find the cameras! The great one who is all-knowing and all-merciful needs protection yet again, this time from small men with pen and paper so threatening to the all-powerful God of Muhammad. Does he demand that his followers engage in yet more murder and mayhem to defend his good name? Is the God of Muhammad so insecure in his position and power that even a cartoon is a threat to his preeminence? What a weak god indeed, this fragile and insecure Allah! Of course, when the riots have been finished and enough pain and loss inflicted, ...then the kind merciful, and forgiving Allah can again be promoted by Islam. And the amazing thing is, ..some people who have brains actually still fall for it! Next week someone will parrot again 'Islam is a religion of peace' ...yeah give us a break already.

A billion people call for revenge and blood over a cartoon and someone still calls this a great religion? Chop off a few heads, burn down a bunch of churches around the world! Brave Muslim warriors find a few remote Baptist churches in rural America and torch them for Allah. A Catholic priest is murdered in Turkey . One can almost hear the Muslim elders gathered around their coffee pots; "Oh if only Iran had the bomb, then those vile infidels would be taught a thing or two about respect." Great religion indeed! What a bunch of brainwashed adolescent morons to believe an actual loving, merciful, forgiving, omnipotent, and omniscience being would take offense at anything so trivial as a cartoon. But then the Muslim God is like no other, not a thing like any of those divine characteristics just listed. Rather, Muhammad and the the personality he promoted are exactly like the mobs who are burning, slashing, threatening, killing, and hurting today.

Muhammad regularly called for revenge over some slight that harmed his overinflated ego, just as Muslims are doing today. It is getting harder and harder for even Islamic apologists to compliment Islam with the fruits of his devout followers on the TV day after day. As more of the world looks beneath the thin taqiyya veneer to its ugly core few can ignore the personage and example of Muhammad, and mocking is the nicest things that could be used to describe the mans personality. Those drawings seem pretty benign to me, none of them seem to depict him raping a 9-year old playing with dolls like the sex obsessed pedophile he was. Now I could understand Muslims being angry at that, but only because it is historically accurate and exposes the founder of Islam for the vile inhumane creature he was. But a bomb in a turban? Or carrying a sword or telling suicidal mujadeen at the gates of heaven that virgins are running short? I thought those murderers who slay innocents are justified in their acts and will inherit such bounties, or at least that's what Muslim leaders say to their own. So cartoons which reflect the reality of the true personality and teachings of Muhammad are offensive huh, ...I don't get it. Is all truth offensive to Muslims?
