n 1999, a movie called the Matrix was released. The futuristic, sci-fi theme was in reality just a trojan horse. The entire movie was subtext, with the purpose of helping people leave religion.

After I left Islam, I was so inspired that I decided the best way to help others leave would be to base my writing on this movie, because the movie is a perfect step-by-step guide to freeing one's mind.

I am submitting this article so that it may help others leave. The title of the article should be "The Matrix has you..." The remainder of this message is the article I'm submitting:

Wake up, Neo…

The Matrix has you…

*************************************************************************

If you are Muslim, then the Matrix has you.

9/11 was a wake-up call for the Muslim Umma, as well
as for the entire world. Yet, most in the Umma still
slumber... dreaming... completely oblivious to the
fact that total annihilation approaches.

Look for yourself:

So much death... What can men do against such reckless
hate?

What evidence from the Quran did Moussaoui cite?
Verses like these:

"Fight against them so that Allah will punish them by
your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over
them and heal the breasts of a believing people.
(Quran 9:14)

Remember when your Lord revealed to the angels,
"Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have
believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those
who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks,
and smite over all their fingers and toes." (Quran
8:12)

Was Moussaoui mentally ill? Yes... but not of his own
nature.

Indeed, there is a power in Islam to make the sane...
insane.

I am Islamic Apostate, and I see what you do not.

But I don’t know if you’re ready to see what I want to
show you…

**********************************************************

Neo: You ever have that feeling where you’re not sure
if you’re awake or dreaming?

[Neo meets Trinity]

Trinity: I know why you're here... You're looking for
him. I know, because I was once looking for the same
thing. And when he found me... he told me I wasn't
really looking for him... I was looking for an answer.

Apostate: I was looking for the same thing... for most
of my life.

Trinity: It’s the question that drives us, Neo. It’s
the question that brought you here.”

Neo: What is the Matrix?

Trinity: The answer is out there, Neo. It’s looking
for you.

Trinity: And it will find you… if you want it to.

Apostate: The answer can find you... only if you let
it.

[Neo meets Morpheus]

Morpheus: I’ve been looking for you, Neo. I don’t know
if you’re ready to see what I want to show you…

Morpheus: I imagine that right now you’re feeling a
bit like Alice. Tumbling down the rabbit hole? I can
see it in your eyes. You have the look of a man who
accepts what he sees… because he’s expecting to wake
up. Ironically, this is not far from the truth. Do you
believe in fate, Neo?

Neo: No.

Morpheus: Why not?

Neo: Because I don’t like the idea that I’m not in
control of my life.

Morpheus: I know exactly what you mean.

Morpheus: Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here
because you know something. What you know, you can’t
explain. But you feel it. You felt it your entire
life. That there’s something wrong with the world. You
don’t know what, but it’s there. Like a splinter in
your mind… driving you mad. It is this feeling that
has brought you to me. Do you know what I’m talking
about?

Neo: The Matrix?

Morpheus: Do you want to know… what it is? The Matrix
is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this
very room. You can see it when you look out your
window… or when you turn on your television… when you
go to church.

Apostate: Or when you go to the mosque.

Morpheus: It is the world that has been pulled over
your eyes… to blind you from the truth.

Neo: What truth?

Morpheus: That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone
else, you were born into bondage… born into a prison
that you cannot smell or taste or touch.

Morpheus: A prison… for your mind.

Morpheus: Unfortunately, no one can be… TOLD what the
Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself.

Morpheus: This is your last chance. After this there
is no turning back.

Morpheus: You take the blue pill… the story ends, you
wake up in your bed and believe... whatever you want
to believe.

Morpheus: You take the red pill, you stay in
Wonderland... and I show you how deep the rabbit hole
goes.

Morpheus: Remember... all I'm offering is the truth.
Nothing more.

[Neo takes the red pill]

Cypher: Buckle your seat belt, Dorothy... because
Kansas... is going bye-bye.

Morpheus: Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you
were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake
from that dream?

Morpheus: How would you know the difference between
the dream world... and the real world?

Apostate:  From the authentic hadith: Anas reported
that a person asked Allah's Messenger (may peace be
upon him) as to when the Last Hour would come. He had
in his presence a young boy of the Ansar who was
called Mabammad. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon
him) said: If this young boy lives. he may not grow
very old till (he would see) the Last Hour coming to
you. (Sahih Muslim, Book 41, Number 7051,
http://www.isna.net/library/hadith/muslim/041_smt.html#013_b41)

Apostate: Referring to a boy near him, Muhammad
predicted that the Last Hour would come sometime
WITHIN the boy's lifetime. It did not come to pass.
Judgement Day was to come immediately after the Last
Hour. Nor did this come to pass. The prediction was
false, and therefore Muhammad was a false prophet.

Neo: This can't be...

Morpheus: Be what? Be real?

[Neo get unplugged]

Morpheus: Welcome... to the real world.

Morpheus: You wanted to know what the Matrix is, Neo?

[In the Construct program]

Morpheus: This... is the Construct. It's our loading
program.

Morpheus: Your appearance now is what we call
"residual self-image."

Morpheus: It is the mental projection of your digital
self.

Apostate: Allah is the mental projection of your inner
self.

Neo: This isn't "real"?

Morpheus: What is "real"? How do you define "real"? If
you're talking about what you can feel... what you can
smell, taste, and see... then "real" is simply
electrical signals interpreted by your brain.

Morpheus: This is the world that you know. The world
as it was at the end of the 20th century.

Morphues: It exists now only as part of a
neural-interactive simulation... that we call the
Matrix.

Apostate:  It exists now only as part of man-made
ideologies... that we call Religion.

Morpheus: You've been living in a dream world, Neo.
This is the world... as it exists today.

Morpheus: Welcome to the desert... of the real.

Apostate: Reality without a religion appears to be a
desert... initially.

Morpheus: We don't know who struck first, us or them.
But we know that it was us that scorched the sky.

Apostate: If Muslims don't wake up soon, nukes will be
launched in the name of Allah, scorching the sky.

Morpheus: Standing there... I came to realize the
obviousness of the truth.

Morpheus: What is the Matrix?

Apostate: What is Religion?

Morpheus: Control.

Morpheus: The Matrix is a computer-generated dream
world... built to keep us under control... in order to
change a human being... into this [a battery].

Apostate: Religion is a man-made dream world...
designed to keep us under control... in order to
change a human being... into a slave.

Apostate: At the same time, Religion is a window into
the human psyche, where God, Satan, Heaven, Hell, Sin,
and Eternal Life represent our hopes, fears, desires,
and the human conscience.

Neo: No, I don't believe it! It's not possible!

Morpheus: I didn't say it would be easy, Neo. I just
said it would be the truth.

Neo: Stop! Let me out! Let me out! I want out!

[exit the Construct program]

Neo: I don't believe it!

Cypher: He's gonna pop.

Morpheus: Breathe, Neo. Just breath.

[Neo vomits]

Neo: I can't go back, can I.

Morpheus: No. But if you could... would you really
want to?

Morpheus: I feel I owe you an apology.

Morpheus: We have a rule. We never free a mind once
it's reached a certain age. It's dangerous. The mind
has trouble letting go. I've seen it before and I'm
sorry. I did what I did because... I had to.

Morpheus: When the Matrix was first built, there was a
man born inside... who had the ability to change
whatever he wanted... to remake the Matrix as he saw
fit.

Apostate: His name was Ali Sina, an ex-Muslim who
tried to wake up the Muslim Umma around the time of
9/11.

Morpheus: It was he who freed the first of us...
taught us the truth.

Apostate: It was he who freed me and many others
recently... taught us the truth.

Morpheus: As long as the Matrix exists... the human
race will never be free.

Apostate: As long as Religion exists... the human race
will never be free.

Morpheus: Get some rest. You're going to need it.

Neo: For what?

Morpheus: Your training.
