This says that if you apostasize from Islam you should be killed. I'd regard this as "compelling" – on pain of death – people not to leave Islam. (You will note I've only quoted the Koran. the Hadith are worse and all schools of fiqh support the death penalty for apostasy.)

No amount of "Taqqiyya" can make Islam the equal of either ignorance or "infidelity" (to Islam – though people might have fidelity to many higher ideals).

I, too, want all the supporters of Islam to truly understand the reality of Islam. Admittedly, once they do understand their support will cease and they will utterly repudiate Islam as the tribal barbarism it is, but you can't have everything I suppose.

Here's a counter challenge: instead of merely making statements (which have nothing to do with logic), let's debate just ONE of Ali Sina's "negative statements", you can choose which one.

Jonc, very good questions about Hanif Muhamed explaining the huge discrepancy between what he is saying and what the actual situations, interpretations and practices, events of/ with other Muslims are.
I really appreciate the stand of Muslims who are for freedom of religion, but why only tell us? FFI/ IW/ JW bombard the world with reports of COERCION/ FORCE in religion. These are reports, messages. They can't all be lies, in fact they are documented and corroborated by the main news very well.
The readers of these articles just comment on them, they connect the actual situations with the possible Islamic explanations, motivations. And on these comments they get reactions from Muslims about how wrong these conclusions are. But do these Muslims respond to the cause, the actual events and situations that give constant rise to these articles, reports and thus the comments on them? One strongly suspects the reacting Muslims do not even read them very well.

Ayatullah Khummenie could only present the views of Shiaism; which is not the view of Islam. The view of Islam is what is supported by the text and context of Quran. Faithfreedom.org or Ali Sina is not doing any service to humanity or peace by presenting the sectarian or denominational views as if it were the views of Islam. Ali Sina is supporting only terrorists by employing such measures, in my opinion.
All human beings are just like a family; every one of them is to be loved and never to be hated.

Please correct me if I am wrong here: the two, Sunni and Shia, branches of Islam represent the vast majority of Muslims, well over a billion of them.
Now they might argue about which, Sunni or Shia, is the 'true' Islam – you, I guess, would claim that it is the very small (by comparison) Ahmedi sect.
The problem is that since most Muslims believe what you call "sectarian or denominational views" (remember how various Fatwas – both Sunni and Shia – have resulted in murder of innocents) then, regardless of whether these 'versions' are 'true' Islam or not, they are the ones that must be opposed since they are the ones that threaten civil liberties, other religions etc.
They are also the same views that have been held for virtually 1400 years (give or take a decade or two) and given the ossified belief system of these two schools of Islam they will not change, at least in the short-term (by which I refer to centuries rather than months!).
So I beg to differ: I do not think that Ali Sina et al are "supporting only terrorists", rather they are pointing out how Islam itself (in its majority beliefs) supports terrorism, discrimination etc – all of which is demonstrable from history.
I will say that to some extent they are "preaching to the choir" in that most here have probably already worked this out, but the Web is pervasive. If the info here gets into the hands of Muslims who are genuinely prepared to think about their faith it may produce dividends in all sorts of ways that we can't yet see.
Sunni, Shia, Admadi all serve allah the devil. quran 3:54. There are over 200 branches of islam who are told to kill unbelievers from the quran. allah wrote the quran and he says he is the devil.

It's not about Shiism or Sunnism Mr Paarsurrey, it's about Islam. Khomeini's view was sanctioned by Islam. His motivation comes from Islamic teaching. Please do not exclude him from Islam on the mere ground of Shiism. The statement stemmed from Quranic belief shared by the radical Salafi Sunni too.
What did the Persian did to the Bedouin Arabs Invaders that induce them to attack and pillage the Persian Empire? What did the Hindus did to the Bedouin Arabs that induced them to conquer Indian territory? Do you know how much blood were spilled as a result?

Thus I suspect that your characterisation is unfair.
I'd be interested if anyone can find an example of a terrorist type attack carried out by Ahmadis. To the best of my knowledge such things are the province of the mutually fratricidal Sunni and Shia sects.
If I am right and such things are not done by Ahmadis, I'd say that that would be strong evidence in favour of the peaceful stance of Ahmadis.
PaarSurrey: I'd like to get my hands on a full copy of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's writings in English. Can you let me know what I should be looking for?

You mentioned something about the real view of Islam, in text and context of Quran.
But what good does it do? What good has it ever done? If people like Khomeini can say they speak for Islam unhindered and if they are followed so much?
What Ali Sina tells us about past and present done in misbehaviour by Muslims maybe was or was not taught by Islam, but Islam certainly did not diminish or prevent it. On the contrary, Islam allowed it to get bigger. So what good is Islam anyway? What beneficial influence does it have on the self-confessed Muslims? What does it do to diminish detrimental behavior of the self-confessed Muslims?
I see no difference between the various sects of islam.Each fellow thinks the other is a kafir! As far ahmedis , they cretainly believe all other moslems are kafirs and kafirs are of course despicable kafirs destined as fuel for hell fire.For that matter even the followers of the dead jew on a stick also feel that every one else who does not believe in the dead jew on a stick, is destined for hell.
