Pakistan: Decending into Chaos

In the recent past if you have been observing the tussle between the armed forces and the present Government of Turkey you may have felt a little tinge of unease at the apparent ham handedness of Turkish armed forces. The armed forces have come across as quite nervous and doubtful of the intentions of the Government of Prime Minister Erdogan. He has been accused of trying to endanger secularism in Turkey by sneaking Islam in Turkey through the back door. Being a firm believer in equal rights for all points of view I certainly felt uneasy about it all until I remembered the recent history of my own country.
In 1947 when Muhammad Ali Jinnah proclaimed Pakistan as an independent state, it was unequivocally proclaimed to be a secular state. Jinnah instructed his people that religion was not to be the business of the state and that each and every individual will be free to go to their mosques, temples or synagogue. Unfortunately for Pakistan and the world at large, (hundreds of Pakistan related atrocities could have been avoided, if Jinnah had succeeded), Jinnah passed away before he had the chance to put his words into practice.
Not many years after Jinnah’s death we received our first Satan incarnate Liaquat Ali khan who promulgated Islam to be the religion of Pakistan in the constitution. It has been all downhill since then.
Liaquat was shot dead not long after his promulgation, after which the new country was subjected to abuse from several power brokers.
Almost all of those power usurpers, secularist or openly Islamist, used Islam as the shield to elongate their stint in power. They either did not know or did not care that Islamic ideology can simply be described as a cancer. Once it is unleashed it simply begins to takes over. It encroaches in all aspects of life and fights off violently any attempts at limiting or eliminating it.
In order to provide balanced perspective I must add here that Americas penchant for reigning supreme and bringing down soviet union was also instrumental in spreading this cancer in Pakistani society, but this must also be qualified with the fact that the primary culprits were Pakistani leaders and Pakistani society as without their connivance America may have moved on to find different theaters of action.
Once American objectives were met, it moved on leaving the illness behind. Tariq Ali describes this action quite aptly as using Pakistan like a condom.
This illness is now spreading fast and threatening to consume not only Pakistan but India and the rest of the world as well. The people of Pakistan are only half heartedly fighting this battle. They share the same religion and the same scriptures and sympathize with what the barbarians are trying to accomplish. Islam is impractical and medieval. The scriptures forbid all progress and curtail freedom. They forbid rational thought and turn humans into zombies. The mind numbing rituals hamper normal life and extinguish all critical thinking. Hence we have a population which is falling fast into hypocrisy and ‘double think’ of mega proportion. Let me qualify this. According to Islamic scriptures the following things are forbidden:
Garlic
Banking
Stock market trading
Music
Pictures (TV, Cinemas are all banned according to Zakir Naik and all other scholars) and any art forms except for perhaps quranic calligraphy
Eyebrows plucking or hair dying or hair replacement for women.
Women traveling without Mahram (close related male like brother, husband, father)
Women’s right for divorce (no power can grant divorce to a woman until the husband okays it)
Women showing their faces or any part of their bodies
Women’s mixed education
Women working in a mixed environment
Restriction on marriage age for child girls
Trading or being friendly with the non-believers
This little list is not exhaustive. How can one live in this world with the rest of civilization and still call themselves a Muslim. The majority of Pakistanis do not live like that. The result is that accepting Islam as a way of life produces a whole army of hypocrites. But this is not the end of the matter because once you are in there is no way out…
Islam has inbuilt mechanisms which protect it from being tampered with or to bring it into the 21st century. It also prescribes capital punishment for blasphemers and apostates. Hence no serious or independent discussion of Islam can take place. The participants showing any critical thinking are immediately threatened with their life. Just watch some Pakistani programmers which are attempting to ignite debate and watch participants cowed in fear and openly sugar coating their answers to protect the lies of Islam.
Muslims have killed their consciousness to repeat the same answers to difficult questions.
Why did Muhammad rape a child? Ans. Kids achieved puberty at an early age in those days.
Why did Muhammad rape captives of war? Ans. It was the custom in those days.
Why did Muhammad rob? Ans. To get compensated for his loss upon migration.
Why did Muhammad kill innocent people of Bani Qurayza? Ans. It wasn’t him, it was Allah.
Why did Muhammad commit incest by marrying his daughter in law? Ans. To get rid of a bad custom of people treating their adopted children as their own.
Why did Muhammad deal in slave trade? Ans. To regulate the trade.
Why did Muhammad torture the chief of Jewish tribe Kinana for information of hidden treasure, couldn’t his all knowing Allah help him out? Allah did not wish to interfere.
Why did Muhammad eat the poisoned mutton shoulder and claimed that it was this which had killed him 3 years later? Ans. Don’t ask. Only Allah knows.
Why did Muhammad leave Islam in such a violent mess that 3 subsequent khalifa were killed in a brutal manner by Muslims themselves? Ans. Muhammad left a perfect religion but people have not followed it properly.
Pakistan is in dire straits. Pakistani people must face certain realities. India did not start the wars, and did not lose the wars. Our curricula history books tell lies.

Islam is not a peaceful religion. Read your scriptures and read mullahs diatribe for past few centuries uptil present time to connect the dots.
The world is not conspiring against the ‘citadel of Islam’ called Pakistan .
Pakistan IS NOT the citadel of Islam. We must look at ourselves for our depravity.
The people must pluck up courage and make a collective effort to read their own scriptures and then either jettison this cult out of their life or at least to send it into their private domain. Unless and until they do that, this descent into chaos will continue.

One more thing, the population of Muslims is actually going down due to the rise in infant morality in Asia and Africa. Till last year the Muslims growth rate was going steady and now, its declining sharply especially in Africa. Another reason is that Africans are leaving Islam for other faiths big time.
According to the most conservative reports Africa will be a Christian continent by in another 20 years. Algeria is already seeing major conversions amongst the Berbers which are making the Algerian Government take stringent actions.
Evil is self destructive! Pakistani northern areas are now under Taliban rule.ISI and Pakistani army involved in this chaos.Taliban bombs 180 schools(most of them are grils schools)and behead openly those who oppose them in the issues as small as "how to wear pajama". I think Pakistani people deserve this because 99% population oppose any US or Western idealogy,freedom and/or culture in their country.So they deserve what they asked..ie Islamic sharia law which implement by Talibans.Sooner or later Pakistan will rule under Taliban rule and this will be the final destruction of this country.The West should wait and see the this entertaining movie and should break all the ties and contact with this country after destroy their nuclear plant Kahota.

If Islam is so great, how is it possible that there is so much violence in every Islamic country? It does not make sense to me at all. It was the day before Ramadan in August 2008 and my boyfriend Hamid and I were discussing the differences between our religions, I being raised as Catholic and he being raised as Muslim. After mine and Hamid’s discussion I discovered that there were many similarities and that the Muslim faith had a lot of respect for women. I had not really followed the Catholic religion since I was age 12 as it confused me and seemed to be very unclear on how Jesus was the son of God and I had great doubts about the religion.
Hamid said that he was going to fast in September as it was a sign to Allah that we are grateful to him for all the food we have, and also that we do not take things for granted.
A few days later Hamid was walking past a stall in Manchester which gave out DVD, books and pamphlets about the Muslim religion. He brought several DVD’s home, one entitled “The Similarities between Christianity and Islam.” I sat watching it, and as the minutes went by I realised the greater benefits of Islam and that Christianity is very vague in comparison. The sheikh on the DVD knew a lot, he was very wise, and any questions asked of him by Christians in the audience, he knew the answer to. I carried on watching a few more about women in Islam and the rights and respect women had. Now I have never been one to pay attention to the media but this came as a shock because all you see portrayed in the media is women being beaten by fundamentalists and treated like slaves. After watching this DVD I decided to learn more about it.
There was a website address on the back of one of the booklets Hamid had brought home for me, so I went to the website and discovered they were giving literature for free. I then ordered my most prize possession, The Glorious Quaran. When it arrived I read through the first Sura (chapter) and I realised I wanted to be part of this religion, but obviously I wanted to know more about it before I made my decision.
By this time I had decided I would cover my head with Hijab (a headscarf) as the DVD showed me that is brought more respect to women and dignity. I was also fasting for the whole month of Ramadan as I agreed that we should show we are grateful to Allah for what we are given.
The following Saturday Hamid and I were shopping in Longsight. The same stall that Hamid had been to had moved there, I approached the stall, intrigued by the amount of pamphlets and booklets that were on display. Hamid, along with the Muslim man on the stall helped me choose a DVD and some booklets that would benefit me in my search for knowledge.
The DVD I remember was about a woman who converted, she was a journalist and she had been captured by the Taliban in Afghanistan. Being a journalist she had heard only bad things about Muslim people and was under the impression that she would be hurt, beaten or raped, as the media would lead people to believe, but she soon realised the media couldn’t be more wrong!! She was amazed at how they treated her, she got treated with utmost respect and dignity and they would not look her in the eye. The main thing that shocked me was that they gave her the key to her own cell; she was able to open it or lock it as she pleased. She vowed to a Muslim Imam that if she could be released she would research more into Islam and possibly convert. So upon her release she started reading the Quaran and later on converted.
This made me realise that Muslim people were more respectful of others and were not all fundamentalist or violent. In fact, the DVD also stated the violence is forbidden in Islam.
There were a few more things I wanted to know before I officially converted. For example, why did the bible say that Jesus was the son of God and the Quaran didn’t?…Well as I read further into the Quaran I realised that Jesus was in it also but he is not portrayed as the son of God, he is portrayed as a messenger of God, which made more sense to me that what the bible had said. What the Quaran says about a lot of things in the bible makes more sense that in the bible itself. This was of great relief to me as I saw that the beliefs were all the same, it is the same God, only he is called Allah.
I spent the rest of the time learning for the internet, in the Quaran and through Muslim Chat rooms. I also became friends with a Muslim girl in my college class called Amina, she I now my best friend and has helped me a lot in my search for religion and also in becoming a more devoted Muslim.
Now I decided that, because I was wearing my Hijab as a permanent item of clothing that I had to tell my mother. At first she seemed shocked, weary and anxious as she explained her fears about fundamentalism and that people were targeting Muslims in the streets and attacking them. I knew that this was just media propaganda and calmly explained to her that I am still the same person, I am still her daughter, and I just have different beliefs and ethics. She seemed upset but there is no real way to tell your mother you have changed been considering changing your religion without causing upset. I left her the DVD I had seen about the woman who converted, and I went back home.
I then informed my uncles by text message as they are very open-minded individuals and have very rich full lives. My uncle in Derby said that if I am 100% sure and I am going to stick to it then he is happy as long as I am happy. My other uncle, who is an archaeologist had done work on Islamic architecture and was very inquisitive and asked lots of questions about it.
So now all that was left in close family was my grandparents, although my granddad had already been made aware by my mother. Obviously at his age he wasn’t very open-minded to the idea and had serious fears about it and being the type of person who doesn’t adapt easily to change either made it harder for him to accept.
It was just before Christmas that I told my nana, as she was suffering with back pain I did not want to give her the news until she was feeling better and also as I thought she would take it badly. But she was surprisingly interested in it and her intrigue into it made me smile. She asked a lot of questions and seemed to understand a lot more.
Hamid and I still went to see my family over Christmas and exchanged gifts and we enjoyed it a lot. I was under pressure to drink alcohol but I informed my granddad that it was forbidden in Islam to drink and the rest of the day went fine. I always thought since I became an adult that Christmas is far too commercial and although I would miss the family gatherings I knew that I wouldn’t mind not having Christmas again. Plus I knew that Muslim’s have Eid 2 times a year and they celebrate with family and enjoy nice food and exchange gifts.
I knew by now that all meat we eat has to be Halal, which means that it has to be blessed and killed in a humane way. This makes it more sacred and Muslim people believe it to be bad if you eat non-Halal meat. This however, doesn’t cause problems because there are a lot of Halal butchers in Manchester and one had just opened in Asda near to my house.
In January 2009 I made it one of my new year’s resolutions to be more religious and to have a better life. After researching online I discovered that to convert I have to say 7 words in Arabic and if they are said with conviction and believe then I will become Muslim.
Having read the Quran, watched DVD’s, looked online and spoken to a lot of Muslim people I then decided to convert to Islam.
On 18th January 2009 I took my Shahada (the Muslim testimony of faith) “La ilah illa Allah, Muhammad rasoolu Allah” which translates into “I testify that there is no true god (deity) but God (Allah), and that Muhammad is a Messenger (Prophet) of God.”
I know now, that I will never look back.

wow great story.but dear there are some problems here.it is consider a great sin even to look at at non "mehram" girl. how that guy hamid use to date with you neglecting whole islamic principles. and you wrote that any journalist get impressed by taliban.and converted to islam.she openly declared that in westren media. why is it not possible to declare apostasy in islamic countries like pakistan. i am an ex muslim since one year. but i cant say it in pakistan.can you explain why?

It is because your mind is conflicted. You don't want to believe that this "beautiful" Islam that has been presented to you by Hamid could possibly be so evil – and maybe you are just scared to find out that what you are reading here at FFI is all true?
Let me assure you that it is quite natural to have conflicting thoughts about Islam once doubt enters your mind. You will really want to fight against those thoughts by trying to justify the "good" in Islam to others. You may also be worried that having doubt in your mind makes you feel like a bad Muslim. But you need to understand that Islam is inherently evil, and sadly, you are just clutching at straws by trying to find anything pure in this satanic cult. You need to study Islam in more detail, read the Qu'ran with your own eyes so you can read these evil verses, instead of letting Muslims brainwash you.
It is okay to have doubts about Islam. There's nothing wrong with that. I am sorry that the "beautiful" Islam that Hamid presented to you is a lie. But Islam is like a bomb wrapped in nice gift wrapping paper when it is introduced to you by another Muslim whose sole intention is to convert you. At first Islam may seem very nice and pretty, but appearances are deceiving. You may only discover the truth about your oppression once it is too late and you no longer have any chance to escape. I seriously doubt if Dr. Zia has openly declared his Apostasy. Even I cant do this publically in India. I live in a country where Muslims are just 13% of the population while he lives in a country which is 100% Islamic. I suppose FFI is his only vent to freedom as he must be getting suffocated living in a country like Pakistan where even the air belongs to the Mullahs. I just he does not live in Punjab where the filthiest of Pakistanis live who just care for firing their rifles and farting like animals.
