This site is viewed by over 300,000 people per month. If you have an opinion concerning Islam that you want to be heard, write it and send it for publication in the Opinions Editorial section of this site. An ideal op-ed is about 1000 words.
- Get right into the subject. Make your position clear from the beginning.
- Keep your sentences short, and don’t try to make too many arguments in one article.
- Be sure that all names are correct and all quotations are accurate.
- Be sure to end your article with a forceful conclusion.
Make sure your essay is free from spelling and grammar errors. If English is your second language and you are not very good at it, ask someone to review your writing before sending it. If you know no one who can do that, ask someone in the forum. Someone will be able to edit your work before you send it to me for publication.
Before submitting your article for consideration, you must become a member of this site. It’s easy, and it only takes a minute or two. There is a link below the login box for signing up. Remember that the name you choose for your membership here will be the name that appears on the “by-line” of your articles, so choose your name carefully. We expect most authors will select a pseudonym, or “pen name”, rather than using their real names.
Once you’ve become a member, send your article to ffieditors at yahoo dot com. In the subject line of your email write “submission for publication”. In the content of your email be sure to mention the name of your user account on this site. The editors will review your article. If they like your article, then they will enable authoring privileges on your account.
