Now, don't get me wrong, but the United States is so democratic that you have only two parties who ever obtian power, you have only around 25% of the population voting, and guess what, if you don't obtain enormous funding you can not run for office, but hey, if you deem that to be democratic, then that is fine with me - but I just don't agree, ok!
Now, with regards to Nicaragua, it was clear that the Sandanista government was much more enlightened than the previous dictatorship, also, Nicaragua was never a Communist nation, simple, they were socialist, like the European Union is dominated by Socialist parties.
With regards to terrorism, we all know that America supported global terrorism against people in Asia, Latin America, Central America, the Balkans, the Middle East, and so forth - and of course the United States wasn't concerned when terrorist bombs were killing people in the United Kingdom, were they?
With regards to Afghanistan, then Najibullah gave women hope and he tried to eradicate feudalism - but America had other ideas, so instead the Americans supported global Islamic terrorism, and guess what this led to, yes, the Islamization of Afghanistan and Pakistan, and September 11 which was made in America/Saudi Arabia and American funding came home, and of course innocents died because of America's bad intentions.
The United States supports terrorism, just like Osama Bin Laden, in fact they once even worked together
Oh, didn't you know that the nations who comprise of the Commonwealth of Independent States are on the whole governed by former Communists, including the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and so forth.
I call a spade a spade, and to me Osama Bin Laden, like America's foreign policy, is evil to the core. _________________ In support of Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, and other minorities in India.
