I can stop being a Muslim, I can stop being a Moroccan but I will never stop loving Moroccan food!
BTW Morocco is a rather strange Muslim country. We have many traditions that are completely unislamic. We like to dance a lot, we like to sing (so-called tongue song), we like magic, we like to have killer parties etc. And of course food... ahhhhhh...food... |

I'll go for couscous with those big raisins, carrots and lots of mergues sausages...with some olives and good turkish bread as a side dish.

The question really is Mohd. Atif, why are you sticking with Islam? You appear to have more brains than the average muslim. Why don't you start using them? Think a little. _________________ Ali Sina: "The truth is out there for those who want to see it. It is beyond doubt."

Does that happen in Paris? If so, creepy. _________________ The penis, mightier than the sword. |

The braver ones will give you a freakish "Bon appetit" and a leer when they pass by. Beurk. |

You see Doubtless I can be the best of human beings and also be a very good Muslim , I can love my wife , treat her with equity and kindness , look after all her needs , respect and take care of my parents , always tell the truth no matter what , keep my promises , give charity to the needy etc.
The fact is that if I do all of the above things I would actually be following Islam and be a much better muslim.
And no I donnot have more brains than the average muslim , I think you underestimate muslims. |

Aw go on you are being modest. Hopefully you would know that kaffirs do all that too for their wives, parents and families. Kaafirs are nice and decent people too. They really should not be killed by the muslims as they have been over the years, or treated as second class humans as they are all over the muslim world even today.
But I have to disagree, as long as you follow Mohammad and the Quraan there is always the danger that you will slip into extremism and start following the instructions of that cult. As long as you do not take all the smite this and smite that too seriously. _________________ Ali Sina: "The truth is out there for those who want to see it. It is beyond doubt."

First of all I would say that I donnot believe that there is anything such as extremism , either you follow Islam or you donnot , I donnot believe in a "moderate muslim" and an "extremist muslim" .

As I said earlier , it is Islam which instructs us to develop these qualities , what you guys are trying to do is to quote selected verses out of context so that it might appear to people who donnot have knowledge that Islam is a terrible religion .
And as I have said earlier , it is not Islam you harm .
I hope you realize this before it's too late |

Even ex-muslims have a hard time knowing who is a muslim and who is not. All the beheaders on TV that we have been seeing call themselves muslims and they always yell Allahu Akbar while killing. The wana operation that is going on in Pakistan right now is resulting in deaths and from what I reas either side is calling the other side not true muslims. Most pakistanis call ahmediyyas not muslims but ahmediyyas outside pakistan call themselves muslims. Submitters call themselves true muslims and say the shia/sunnis are not true muslims. So you may call who ever you like a muslim or not. I am calling those muslims extremists who are threatening to nuke population centers if and when they get their hands on nuclear materials.
Again it is not just a few verses being quoted and they are not quoted out of context (but that is one of the excuses that muslims give), it is the accumulative effect of what is taking place around the world now, the 1450 years of islamic history, the words of the muslims in the past and in the present that is what is driving the impression of Islam.
Here take a look in a European Newspaper:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,3-1387077,00.html
Here take a look at what is being done by those who call themselves muslims:
http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Default.htm#Attacks
Here take a look what the young muslis of canada are hosting at their site about what is Jihad and notice these are the words of the Sharia expert (Imam Shaheed Al Banna):
http://www.youngmuslims.ca/online_library/books/jihad/
And I really do not know what you mean by:

I do not know what earlier statement you are referring to. I am trying to tell the truth as I see it. I do not know what you mean by "before it's too late". Too late for what? _________________ Ali Sina: "The truth is out there for those who want to see it. It is beyond doubt."

I think everyone understands that it instructs you to develop these qualities towards your wife, parents, and family.
What does it instruct you to develop for the kaffirs is what the rest of the world is really grappling with. _________________ Ali Sina: "The truth is out there for those who want to see it. It is beyond doubt."
