Can anyone find a verse in the Quran stating that Allah is holy?
(holy = pure and clean; without any trace of badness)

cheers

There are two verses in the Koran that designate Allah as holy:

Surah 59:23
He is Allah, than Whom there is no other God, the Sovereign Lord, the holy One, Peace, the Keeper of Faith, the Guardian, the Majestic, the Compeller, the Superb. Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him).

Surah 62:1
All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifieth Allah, the Sovereign Lord, the holy One, the Mighty, the Wise.

I like this advice. Ali, it is really working and I am keeping my peace.

You both are welcome. (Actually, no need to thank me).

Most of the English translations of the Koran have "word search" feature. www.islam.tc is a recommendable website with accurate translation.
