During discussion with muslims I always get these answers from them, I made a list of the most popular ones if anyone has more please list them.

One time, on another forum, the argument played out as follows

First, the Muslim tried to answer the problem I raised in a direct manner, rather than using the Arabic excuse right up front, which he should have done. When that didn't work, the next excuse was that it was a bad translation. So i provided 12 different translations that all confirmed my point. So the next excuse was that it couldn't be understood unless one knows Arabic, and therefore one must read the tafsir of a notable, Arabic speaking Muslim scholar. So i provided Ibn Kathir and it perfectly confirmed my point. So the next demand was that I needed to provide the tafsir in Arabic and that the tafsir is mistranslated. At this point, I asked if the person knows Arabic themselves, and it turns out, he didn't. So then, i asked him how he could possibly be a Muslim when he can't possibly understand neither the Arabic Quran, nor the Arabic tafsir. That's when I got banned.

3,5,6,7 all prove that following Islam is impossible. You see, it would seem that there is no one that can be considered a true Muslim or follow REAL Islam. SO much for the universal, perfect religion.

Muslims generally react to critisism of islam and Muhammad using three main ways :
-deflect attention to christianity , to the bible , and to what christians and jews did in their history and today...
-deny the islamic sources you give them and call them false hadith or false qur'an translations, or doubt your very knowledge of islam and accuse you of inventing or believing what the "ennemies of islam" say.
-relativise Muhammad's crimes and harsh qur'an verses , saying that all of this was normal and moral at that time and in that context .
