Who is speaking here? It appears that Allah has demeaned himself by swearing by one of his creations. It is normal to swear by someone or something greater than oneself. Perhaps these are Muhammad`s words that have somehow crept into the Koran.

What? Allah is saying these words, and hes swearing on its brilliance, the ability to give light to the whole earth in just 24 hours, and how big it is. Hes the creator, why cant he swear on his creation?

Why does Allah have to swear by or on anything? Isn't that what humans commonly do? Why would Allah have to do that? At most, he would swear by himself, not an element of his creation. Why would Allah swear on something lesser than him?

I do think however that "who created allah" is a valid question as "allah" sounds too stupid to have been created by "the" creator God. "allah" wrote quran and quran says "allah" created everything!!! Ever heard of "circular logic" Ahmak?

This is talking about the alternation of day and night on earth. After the sun "sets" the moon follows behind it, and its night.
