|
|
It just dawned on me, sorry I'm so slow: but for centuries Muslims claim that Muhammed's rise was predicted in Bible. They are right, but wrong about WHERE he's predicted. It's in Revelation 12 and 13. He's the false prophet of Rev13, and the one he hawks, is a false christ. Rev12 is the purpose, to annihilate the Jews.
This is a new insight for me, I'm thinking out loud and might radically reverse what I'm saying now. This is just brainstorming, very tentative. I only sound certain in what's below because in debating a thing you must first 'take' a position. So I'm taking one, but it can change.
A. 666 represents an unholy trinity, not a specific spelling or name, my pastor taught for decades. That's the most valid interpretation versus all the competing ideas for it, out there, frankly (too much goofy Christian stuff on 666, lol). Well, unless someone comes up with something better. Here, that's 1) Muhammed (or a Mahdi claiming to be inspired or related), the 2) false Christ pandered in Qu'ran, and 3) 'Allah', really one or more demons provoking world war and conspiracy (look up the 'frogs' reference in Revelation, metaphorical reference to Aristophanes' play "The Frogs", read it -- my pastor stressed that, too). If you've seen that horrible movie "Message", starring Anthony Quinn and Michael Ansara, you'll see that unholy trinity played well (treating an always-unseen Mo like God, lol). The movies' commenters on Youtube well illustrate the effect of the 'frogs' upon them, just as in Aristophanes' play. If you read carefully, ALL CRITICISM was removed, but only the Muslim answers and attacks, were preserved. Preview of coming attractions B. The Anti-semitic Revelation 12 purpose is patent throughout Islam's history, no surprise there. First Article of the PLO Charter is "Israel has no right to exist." That's the deal-breaker condition President Bush first made in stone when he proposed an independent Palestinian State, saying that Article MUST be removed before he'd entertain the notion. Saudi Arabia took out full page ads in the US and listed about 19 conditions (19 or more, maybe) of which one was to keep that Article, so of course the 'road map' goes nowhere.
C. Revelation 13 is about false prophet and false Christ. THIS is the prophecy of Muhammed and the Rise of Islam, imo. It happens in the Trib only; however, since Satan doesn't know when the Rapture happens either, he has to keep on positioning himself and has a very extensive set of strategical and tactical goals on a schedule he follows. This schedule involves Islam and Catholicism. (The latter is Revelation 17, and is not restricted to Catholicism, all Christian apostasy is used. It just so happens that Catholicism was the reigning form of apostasy for the first 14 centuries.) { CLICK THIS LINK for a header page linking to over 500 pages of examination why the Rapture is valid, showing the LEGAL precedence since Noah. So I will not answer objections to Rapture in forum; proof is too extensive, I spent four years of daily research on it and wrote out what I found therein. Read the material or do not, your choice.}
Application: if Islam is an ongoing trend due to the unpredictability of the Rapture -- and it has been on a schedule of every 400 years or so in resurgence -- then it will not be eradicated. Hence the solution for us Christians is to get more serious about living our spiritual lives, as there will be no political solution. Not that we just sit on park benches, but we shouldn't be relying on Caesar for help, but privately living before God. (The 400-years' thingy is covered in the "TIMELINES" Playlist and bulletins at my Youtuber channel, link is at the signature line).
Again, this is a tentative hypothesis. It would mean there are TRIPLE sets of anti-christs, versus the 'normal' Christian take on Rapture. That's yet another type of '666'. For the usual depiction is - 1) false prophet who takes over in Israel, who is allegedly gay and from the tribe of Dan (not sure where I stand on the 'gay' idea), who aligns with some one pretending to be the political savior from the West (not necessarily claiming to be Christ). In this scenario,
- 2) would be a fake 'Christian' pair with the religion headed in Rome (not necessarily Catholic, though traditionally Christians think so, I'm not sure that's true) and
- 3) would be an ISLAMIC pair, one being the Mahdi and the other a fake Christ (that's Shiite interpretation already, look up the 12 imams' links).
Even if this hypothesis turns out incorrect, there's no doubt now that Islam is satanic, in my mind. It's only a question of how. For over a month I've lost sleep over this, thinking somehow that Islam could be saved. Now I realize that Muslims who are still Muslims are either a) seriously UNINFORMED about their own religion, or b) so anti-semitic or otherwise anti-God that they LIKE the evil of Islam. There is no middle ground. Wish there were.
Okay, that's enough. Whatever your thoughts are, I'm ready to hear them. Again, I might do a total reversal on this idea about the applicability of Revelation 12-13 using Islam for the beast and false prophet.
Oh, one warning to Muslims: I'm sick to death of Muslims who just rant and rave and offer no substance, who do no homework, and who swear. If you do any of these things I will ignore you. If you have a substantive argument in rebuttal, please make it. Don't just say how right Islam is and how the West is at fault, we misinterpret the Koran, parrotting gossip about the Bible is corrupt (which you actually don't know, since you never read it in the original-language texts) -- and all the other bilious claptrap for which Muslims are known. BE SCHOLASTIC this time, do your homework. Or I won't reply to you, period. That's a hard, non-negotiable, rule.
Needs a lot more thought and testing. I know VenomFang from Youtube, ManessahEphraim from this forum, and maybe Oliver, Apple Pie and some others would be interested in this topic, though where they stand on Rapture probably differs (and it doesn't even matter if you believe in the Rapture, for this Rev 12-13 application). Maybe you all might want to tell them.
Thanks for your time. I'll be in and out, not participating much, for the next two weeks, but I HAD to get this off my chest. Thanks again! _________________ "Relax, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10.

Well, they are right:
| "Matthew wrote: |
7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. |

Thanks, both of you. So I take it neither of you feels the Revelation 12 and 13 descriptions apply to Islam? Thanks for your reply in advance! _________________ "Relax, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10.

To follow your argumentation one has to believe in Satan first. _________________ </islam>

I vote yes because one doesn't have to believe in Satan to deem someone Satanic.
There are two usages:
sa·tan·ic (s-tnk, s-) or sa·tan·i·cal (--kl)
adj.
1. Relating to or suggestive of Satan or evil.
2. Profoundly cruel or evil; fiendish.
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/satanic
I use the second definition. |

The second definition doesn't apply to a "prophecy" involving an entity called Satan. _________________ </islam>

Well, ixolite, what yo'uve said (as usual) is true. On the other hand, the poll question is more general. I wanted a more general poll question than the topic itself, just to get a sense of how many people think Islam is "satanic" by whatever definition they use for that term. Seems to me that would help Muslims who are 'on the fence' better understand why we don't buy Muslim claims of islam being peaceful, tolerant, perfect, etc.
To me each ayah has a sinister meaning in the same words. Yeah, you go to paradise under the earth when you die, where there is shade and rivers flow. Yeah, "shade" is a famous Greek term, and Paradise is DARK now, since the Ascension (Eph4:8-9, fulfilling the OT promise that the OT people would rise with Christ). And rivers? Well rivers of what? Molten iron, which we know now is at the earth's core and spurts out as magma? A demon would know all this.
Any ayah I look at has this same Delphic double-entendre pattern, like if you cross the Halys river you will destroy a great empire (your own)! _________________ "Relax, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10.

Hello all
This is the type the threads I like, however I don't talk to Chicken Lies worshippers so no dialogue between me and others on this thread just to make it fair with all, consider that I'm talking to the public who are not members in here.
Indeed the Bible despite its corruption is full of prophecies about the great religion of Islam and its great messenger Mohammed, the Dead Sea Scrolls confirmed without a doubt that there should be TWO Messiahs, Jesus and Mohammed, let’s have a look at something that I studied 4 years ago:
The Dead Sea Scrolls - the Quran connection
In 1947 a group of children stumbled upon the first set of scrolls in a cave on the shores of the dead sea. These scrolls were immediately identified as the work of a very devout sect of the Jewish community that lived centuries before the birth of Jesus (pbuh). Hershel Shanks says in his book Understanding the Dead Sea Scrolls:
"Such was the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, manuscripts a thousand years older than the oldest known Hebrew texts of the Bible, manuscripts many of which were written a hundred years before the birth of Jesus and at least one of which may have been written almost three hundred years before the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethleham"
[Understanding the Dead Sea Scrolls, Hershel Shanks, pp. 7-8]
An immediate frantic search ensued through the remaining caves in the region in order to find what other ancient scrolls could be discovered therein. A small group of "international" scholars in Israel were given exclusive access to them and the rest of the world was all but totally barred from gaining even the slightest glimpse of the texts (Prof. Eisenman observes that one of the major stumbling blocks for the publication of the scrolls was that "in the first place, the team was hardly international") . Prof. Robert Eisenman was one of the key players in the drama that finally lead to the release of the scrolls. In his book The Dead Sea Scrolls Uncovered we have been informed:
In the spring of 1986, at the end of his stay in Jerusalem, Professor Eisenman went with the British scholar, Philip Davies of the University of Sheffield, to see one of the Israeli officials responsible for this - an intermediary on behalf of the Antiquities Department (now 'Authority') and the International Team and the Scrolls Curator at Israel Museum. They were told in no uncertain terms 'You will not see the Scrolls in your lifetimes'".
This stung them into action, and as a result of this statement, a massive effort was launched and five years later, through a whirlwind of media publicity, absolute access to the scrolls was attained. Prof. Eisenman eventually received 1800 pictures of the previously unpublished scrolls. The book goes on to describe how "Eisenman was preparing the Facsimile Edition of all unpublished plates. This was scheduled to appear the following spring through E. J. Brill in Leiden, Holland. Ten days, however, before it's scheduled publication in April 1991, after pressure was applied by the International Team, the publisher inexplicably withdrew and Hershel Shanks (author of Biblical Archiology Review) and the Biblical Archeology Society to their credit stepped in to fill the breach". However, finally in September 1991, the archives were officially opened and two months later the 2-volume Facsimile Edition was published.
We have already read the words of Mr. Tom Harpur in the preface to his book:
"The most significant development since 1986 in this regard has been the discovery of the title "[b]Son of God" in one of the Qumran papyri (Dead Sea Scrolls) used in relation to a person other than Jesus.....this simply reinforces the argument made there that to be called the Son of God in a Jewish setting in the first century is not by any means the same as being identical with God Himself." [/b]
So why don't we study these scrolls in a little more detail and see what else we can learn ?
The Dead Sea Scrolls consist of fragments from many manuscripts, however, some of the most interesting among them are the Pesher texts. The Pesher texts are strings of interpretations of Biblical verses compiled by the most knowledgeable among the Jews. The word itself is derived from the Hebrew root word p-sh-r, which means, "to explain". The texts consist of Biblical passages followed by the words pesher ha-davar" the interpretation of the matter is", and then the interpretation itself.
The basis of all of these texts is the notion that all of history is preordained by God. In other words, God is not restricted to looking at matters as "past", "present", or "future", rather, all of time is an open book to God Indeed, this is the essence of how prophets receive "prophesies", because God "sees" the future. So, remembering that we are henceforth quoting from texts that have been carbon dated at about 100 years or more before the coming of Jesus (pbuh), and that this dating is confirmed by literary analysis, and that the authors were a sect of very religious and devout Jews, considering all of this let us see what they have to say:
Those who have studies the scrolls have noticed a common theme prevalent throughout these manuscripts, that is, most of the pesher texts prophesise the coming of a "Teacher of Righteousness" who will be sent by God to the Jews. This "Teacher of Righteousness" will be opposed by the "Teacher of Lies" and the "Wicked Priest". These scrolls also predict the coming of two messiahs. These two messiahs are referred to as :
1) A priestly messiah
2) A temporal messiah.
What we had here was a society of very devout Jews who were convinced that the time of the coming of the two messiahs was at hand, therefore, they set about preparing for their advent by detaching themselves from the mainstream society, and dedicating their lives to their worship and the preparation for their imminent arrival.
In The Dead Sea Scrolls Uncovered, by Robert Eisenman and Michael Wise, we read that the early scrolls spoke of two messiahs, but that later on, the communities of the Jews began to combine them into one messiah:
"As we have suggested, contrary to the well-known 'two-Messiah' theory of early Qumran scholarship, these references to the 'Messiah of Aaron and Israel' in the Damascus Document are singular not plural... and one possible explanation for it is that it is evoking a Messiah with both priestly and kingly implications, like the somewhat similar recitations of Hebrews"
[The Dead Sea Scrolls Uncovered, Robert Eisenman and Michael Wise, p. 162]
"According to the dominant view in the sectarian texts from Qumran, two messiahs were to lead the congregation in the End of Days, one priestly, and the other lay"
[Reclaiming the Dead Sea Scrolls, Lawrence H. Schiffman, pp. 321-322]
The Jews had prophesies of two messiahs. The first was best known to them for his "religious" or "priestly" works which he would perform. The second was best known to them for his "kingly" works; his bringing of an epoch of peace.
These two prophesies refer to Jesus (pbuh) and Muhammad (pbuh). Jesus (pbuh) was best know for his "priestly" works. However, he never lead an army, and he never established a kingdom or a government. Quite the opposite, he called to peace and submissiveness and to leave the rule of the land to others
They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
[Matthew 22:21]
He told his followers that he yet had many things to teach them but they could not bear them yet and that another would be coming after him who would teach them the complete truth
7: Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8: And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9: Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10: Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11: Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12: I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14: He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[John 16:7-14]
Muhammad (pbuh) too began his ministry preaching submissiveness and passiveness. However, his ministry was nurtured by God almighty to a point where it was able to defend itself and establish justice in the earth and abolish evil. His followers fought several wars in self defence and against injustice. The Islamic empire finally stretched from China to Spain and even those who did not follow Muhammad (pbuh) knew him well. However, what did they know him for? They knew him for his "kingly" actions and not for the "priestly" side of him that his followers knew.
"And fight against them until persecution is no more and religion is for God alone. But if they desist then let there be no hostility except against wrongdoers"
[The Quran ; 2:193]
"Those unto whom We gave the Scripture recognize him Muhammad as they recognize their sons. But verily, a party of them conceal the truth while they know it"
[The Quran ; 2:146]
Over time, the prophesies of the Jews began to become a little blurred, and this in addition to the continuous persecution of many nations towards the Jews eventually lead to their blending of these prophesies into one single prophesy and their aggrandizing of this one all- conquering wondrous event that would finally relieve them of their persecution and pave the way for them to march forth conquering all nations, and establishing themselves as the protectors of the kingdom of God. For this reason, when we read the Gospel of Barnabas, we find that when the Jews ask Jesus (pbuh) whether he is "the messiah" he replies that he is not "the messiah" that they are expecting.
"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law."
[Matthew 10:34-35]
This is because he understood their question. They were not asking him for his title, rather, they wanted to know whether he was the one who would finally fulfil all of their prophesies of leadership, power, and grandeur that they had been waiting for so many centuries. For this reason, he told them that he was not "the messiah", but that "the Messiah" they were waiting for would not come until later. He was referring to the SECOND messiah in their prophesies. (the Jews had expectations of three prophecies to be fulfilled)
Lawrence Schiffman says regarding Pesher Habakkuk:
"It (Pesher Habakkuk) describes the struggle between the Teacher of Righteousness and his opponents - the Man of Lies (also termed the Spouter or Preacher of Lies) and the Wicked Priest. The Spouter is pictured as heading a community. The dispute between the Teacher and the Spouter is seems to have been based on matters of religious interpretation and law. The Wicked Priest is said to have begun his rule in truth but then to have abandoned the way of truth. He then persecutes the Teacher, confronting him on the holiest day of the year, the Day of Atonement"
[Reclaiming the Dead Sea Scrolls, Lawrence H. Schiffman, p. 228]
This prophesy also continues in Pesher Psalms:
"This text also mentions the familiar dramatis personae: the Teacher of Righteousness, termed 'the priest'; the wicked priest; and the Man of Lies. The Wicked Priest persecuted the Teacher and sought to kill him. The man of lies lead people astray"
[Reclaiming the Dead Sea Scrolls, Lawrence H. Schiffman, p. 229]
What we begin to see in all of this is the story of the coming of Jesus (pbuh), his selection of Judas as one of the apostles, the deviance of Judas from the truth, how a sect of the Jews persecuted Jesus (pbuh), how this sect tried to deceive the masses and differed with Jesus (pbuh) regarding the truth of God's message, and finally, how they schemed with Judas to kill Jesus (pbuh). The Teacher of Righteousness is thus a reference to Jesus (pbuh); the "priestly" Messiah. The Wicked Priest is a reference to Judas, and the Spouter of Lies is most likely the leader of the "chief priests and Pharisees" who persecuted Jesus (pbuh) and are mentioned so often in the Bible.
Many Christian scholars have snatched up these prophesies in order to prove the validity of their claim that Jesus (pbuh) was indeed sent by God and that the Jews are required to follow him. However, they have been thwarted in their attempts by one other quite amazing piece of evidence that the Jews continually manage to refute their claims with, specifically, that the Dead Sea Scrolls claim that the coming messiah will be persecuted and that the Wicked Priest will try to kill him, but that the Wicked Priest will not be successful and that it is he who will receive the fate he wished for the messiah.
In interpreting Psalms 37:32:
"The Wicked watches for the righteous, seeking to put him to death,"
the text states: 'Its interpretation concerns the Wicked Priest who watched out for the Teacher of Righteousness and sought to put him to death'"
[Reclaiming the Dead Sea Scrolls, Lawrence H. Schiffman, p. 233]
So Judas will try to kill Jesus (pbuh).
"The Wicked Priest began his career with the support of the sectarians, but he quickly lost his way and began to transgress in order to increase his wealth"
[Reclaiming the Dead Sea Scrolls, Lawrence H. Schiffman, p. 233]
"And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver".
[Matthew 26:15]
Various theories have sought to identify the Teacher with Jesus, claiming that he was executed by the Wicked Priest. However, had that been the case, the text would not have gone on to explain how God took vengeance against the priest by turning him over to the 'ruthless ones of the nations'. And according to this text, the teacher certainly survived the ambush. Indeed the entire passage is an interpretation of Psalms (37:33) where the text continues,
"The Lord will not abandon him (the Righteous), into his hand (the Wicked); He (The Lord) will not let him (the Righteous) be condemned in judgment (by the wicked)."
[Reclaiming the Dead Sea Scrolls, Lawrence H. Schiffman, pp. 233-234]
The author goes on to quote Pesher Habakkuk with regard to the Wicked Priest's intentions and his punishment. He says:
"Ultimately, however, the Wicked Priest was punished: '.. because of his transgression against the Teacher of Righteousness and the men of his council, God gave him over to the hands of his enemies to afflict him with disease so as to destroy him with mortal suffering because he had acted wickedly against His chosen one'.
The Wicked Priest's enemies tortured him which represents divine punishment for his attacks on the Teacher of Righteousness. The sufferings of the Wicked Priest are even more graphically described in another passage: 'and all his enemies arose and abused him in order for his suffering to be fit punishment for his evil. And they inflicted upon him horrible diseases, and acts of vengeance in the flesh of his body'. But the one who suffered was the Wicked Priest, not the Teacher of Righteousness.
"The enemies of the Wicked Priest, the nation against whom he had made war, are said to have tortured him, so that his life ended in mortal disease and affliction."
[Reclaiming the Dead Sea Scrolls, Lawrence H. Schiffman, p. 234]
If we read the Gospel of Barnabas, we will find that when Judas came with the Roman troops in order to betray Jesus (pbuh), God raised Jesus (pbuh) unto Him and saved him. He then made Judas look and even speak like Jesus (pbuh) so that the Romans dragged him (Judas) away with them kicking and screaming that he was not Jesus (pbuh) but Judas. Even the Apostles were totally bewildered.
After the Romans had their fill afflicting Judas with all manner of abuse and torture, he was finally taken to trial. By now he had totally given up hope of ever being believed. So now when he was asked, "art thou Jesus?" He replied "Thou sayest". In other words, "you will not believe me if I say otherwise, so why fight it any more". His enemies (the Romans) then took him, mocked him, kicked him, cut him, spat on him, humiliated him, and tortured him. Finally, they put him up on the cross. It appears, however, that shortly after they took him down, he disappeared from his tomb (maybe to live in disease and torment and die later on if he was not already dead).
The Gospel of Baranabas then goes on to describe how Jesus (pbuh) returned to the apostles to tell them of how God had saved him from the hands of the Jews and the Romans and how the traitor (Judas) was taken instead.
This is exactly what the Quran has been saying for 1400 years now; that Jesus (pbuh) was not forsaken by God to be killed by the conspiracy of the Jews and Judas, but that "it was made to appear so to them":
"But when Jesus became conscious of their disbelief, he cried: Who will be my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We will be Allah's helpers. We believe in Allah, and bear you witness that we have surrendered (unto Him). Our Lord! We believe in that which You have revealed and we follow him whom You have sent. Enroll us among those who witness (to the truth). And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them): and Allah is the best of schemers"
[The Quran ; 3:52-54]
"And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger, and they slew him not nor crucified, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; for of a surety they slew him not"
[The Quran ; 4:157]
The scrolls then go on to describe how "Kittim" (the Roman empire) and the kings of Greece would both try to take Jerusalem (the symbol of the faithful), but that it would be Kittim (the Romans) who would finally be successful.
"Some texts also speak about an eschatological prophet who will announce the coming of the Messiah, a figure similar to Elijah in the rabinnic tradition"
[Reclaiming the Dead Sea Scrolls, Lawrence H. Schiffman, p. 323]
Referring to the manuscript titled The Rule of the Community, verse 9:11-12, Mr. Schiffman says:
"this text unquestionably refers to two messiahs who will be announced by an eschatological prophet and based on a the cave 4 manuscripts of Rule of the Community, the original publication team argued that this passage was added to the text later in the history of the sect. However, the evidence in these manuscripts does not sufficiently support such an assertion. As far as we can tell, the two-messiah concept was part of Rule of the Community from the time it was composed".
[Reclaiming the Dead Sea Scrolls, Lawrence H. Schiffman, p. 324]
"And when there came unto them (the Jews) a Scripture from Allah, confirming that in their possession though before that they were invoking Allah (for the coming of Muhammad ) in order to gain victory over those who disbelieved, then when there came unto them that which they had recognized, they disbelieved in it. So let the curse of Allah be on disbelievers"
[The Quran ; 2:89]
The Dead Sea Scrolls make mention of many more quite amazing and illuminating prophesies and parallels with the teachings of the Quran and Islam. There are also many parallels with the historical series of events presented in this book, such as the reference to the "seekers of smooth things" (simplifying the law of the religion) which sounds amazingly similar to the description of Paul and his followers who "simplified" the religion of Jesus after his departure and removed all obligation from it all the while claiming that his authority came directly from "visions" of Jesus (pbuh). He is even quoted, while preaching this removal of obligation, as saying:
"But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the SIMPLICITY that is in Christ"
[2 Corinthians 11:3]
There is so much more that could be said about the Dead Sea Scrolls and their confirmation of the Quran and the mission of Muhammad.

ahmed the gospel of barnabas is an obvious forgery. for you to mention it really lowers your credibility. i am not trying to be a hyppocrite because i have low credibility too. i am just saying.
also the thing being spoken about in john is the holy spirit. it does not make sense to be muhammad by any means.
lastly the dead sea scrolls were not mentioning two messiahs, but rather one messiah in two esscenses. kaballahistic jews believe that ask them yourself. _________________ -thankyuoforviewingmypost |

Hi brainout
I voted "no" since there's no such thing. But it still interesting to read all of your argumentation from various obscure and old sources.
Cheers. _________________ "To YOU I'm an atheist; to God, I'm the Loyal Opposition." - Woody Allen |

Dear Brainout, welcome to FFI.
1. Biblical scholars have now discovered that the number isn't 666 but 616, it was mistranslated.
2. The rapture is a personal experience that you have when you enjoin in the bridal chamber. It is a mystical experience that some like myself have enjoyed.
3. See Revelations 19&20 and you will read more about the false prophet, the robe dripped in blood, the beast and the beheadings. As we know there is only one religion that beheads people in the 21st century.
4. Is Islam satanic? Well those that behead people, threaten and murder people certainly are. Those that sacrifice 700,000 animals for a religious rite and those that worship black stones and graven images certainly are. Jesus also told people not to bable like pagans when praying and Islam and other religions do recite scripture in the way he told us not to.
5. Jesus told people not to build upon his foundations with building materials and Islam could be seen to have done that as well.
6. A Palestinian, ex-terrorist, Walid Shoebat appeared at a Prophecy conference in the last few months and made an excellent presentation based upon the Qur'an and the Bible for identifying Allah as Satan. You can find all the links on youtube or all the parts.
7. Many Jews await Elijah as the one coming prior to the return of the Lord Jesus. I recommend you view the thread that I put in the religion forum called 'Revelations, the Last Trumpet'. We certainly are laying the red carpet for the Lord's arrival. The Prophet Elijah did take a female human form in 2003 and she was sworn to secrecy at that time.
The person was given the timing of their death in 2005, this is also confirmed by the prophecies of Nostradamus who predicted the penultimate prophet and the Lord's words published in the Gospel of 12.
However, the Lord Jesus will not come until there is peace.
On a different note I was told by God that Israel was listening to a false prophetess prior to my last trip to Israel. (I think she must be an Israeli who is leading many astray.)
The true prophet is also White Stone and God showed the prophet her epitaph of ELIAKIM. This women received the White Stone in Assisi in September 2003, the Soul of Elijah in November 2003 whilst on a mission to Florence. On her return from Israel in 2006 Jesus himself gave her a new name. Prior to the mission to Israel in 2007, God gave her the epitaph. If you do your research you will also discover that Eliakim is also mentioned in the bible.
8. Many Muslims think that the comforter was the prediction of their prophet. Alas, this is not true. The original word also means counsellor and Prophet Mo was not a counsellor/healer. Also 900 years ago the word comforter meant a person that proded, poked and chastised so even Christians do not truly understand this. The true prophet of God is a healer/counsellor that prods and pokes to get people to wake up The prophet did this even before she knew who she was.
9. The Jews, Christians and Muslims all think they are to be the beacon of the light for the world. This is not true because they do not truly understand the scriptures and its spiritual symbology.
10. The children of abraham have a mystical heritage and and it is only mystics that truly understand any inspired texts. In fact, in the Dead Sea Scrolls it says that often even the prophets did not truly understand what they were delivering most of the time and it needed inspired interpreters to understand their words.
11. Prophet Mo is certainly not the one of the two coming as Ahmed suggests. The DSS confirm biblical scripture that state that this will happen in the end times of the end of the age and we both know that time is now. Every true prophet knows that religion is created by man and not by God.
12. The Dead Sea Scrolls also speaks of the Coming of Melchizedek and he came with many light beings on May 13 2006 at the real birth place of Jesus in Bethlehem at the Galilee.
13. The prophet that is here was sent to Israel on the Order of Melchizedek to call a gathering on a holy hill for the date above.
14. I am sure that you are aware that Jesus was from the Order of Melchizedek as well. If not read Hebrews.
Hope this responds fully to your questions.
So is Islam in Revelations in a negative way? Yes, it certainly is and I can really recommend you viewing the prophecy conference videos. The Qur'an also states that Allah is Lord of Sirius, th afflictor, the Greatest deceiver and greatest plotter. I tried to get a topic going on this but did not attract any interest.
History is being made.
My father and I are one.

Thank you, ibnishaq, wish I could put it so succinctly. Also, the Dead Sea Scrolls are not Bible, but amidst them are some scraps of Bible (like the Isaiah Scroll, oldest known one we have). The Essenes had their own doctrines and holy texts.
This stuff is hard on all of us to sort through. Moreover, notice that these prophecies are also against Christianity (i.e., Revelation 17's "mystery" means the Church -- believers between Pentecost and Rapture). I'm just trying to sort them out.
Tvebak: what's obscure? I didn't understand the comment. Thank you for your time in explaining it further.
Lotus Feet: The 616 debate has been debunked. There are many meanings of the text and really the whole idea of it being some specific number is most hilarious, since it's a Hebraism to use numbers to signify more prosaic metaphors. Like, we use "9/11" to designate a well-known event, it's not the date we're stressing but what happened. As for the rest of your interpretatin of Revelation -- didn't you cover that in another thread? Why do you bring it up here, since this isn't about that thread? Oh, on re-reading what you typed, I see why you bring it up again here. Well, maybe that would be an interesting subthread and somehow related. But I will not discuss the meaning of the Rapture here, as that is off-topic, and I've already provided the link for that research.
We don't need to agree on Rapture to discuss Revelation 12, 13 possible applicability to Islam. The idea all by itself is intriguing, since the whole point of Revelation 11 is FAKE TEMPLE (handling the Jewish anti-christ prophecy), with Revelation 12 being the reason (a rebuilt Temple would make Jews center around it and hence make it easier for Satan to slaughter them all, hence World War as we who love the Jews would rise to defend them) -- and Rev 13, the ones who foster the whole thing, presaging the rise of Islam, perhaps.
Revelation 17 of course, aligns, and is made up of pseudo-Christians. I call it FAKE CHURCH in my websites. It's traditional Christian interpretation that there are only two anti-christs, one Jewish and one Western (the Rev 17 group). Now I see a reason to challenge that notion, and look forward to all who post their ideas about it, here. _________________ "Relax, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10.
