I am new here anyway.

Hmm, yeah, I am an apostate from Islam. Am not going to pin point the religion, but i feel that God himself is directing me to know Christ.

My story is not an interesting one. Basically, I have this affinity with Christ, even though I do not know him well last time. I was always curious about Him.

People often asked me, if anyone from the church influence me, or giving me money, hhahaha.... and all that is false! No one influenced me.. nor give me money. I turn to Christ on my own accord. And I am a happier person now!

Im lucky to be a singaporean, because down here i can walk and take the train while holding my bible to read... No discrimination or anything. Sure I do get stares from malay muslims sometimes, but what can they do? haha

And one funny thing i read in a forum which i forgot what, the muslims were discussing abt the holy water. They claimed that if an apostate drink the water, their toungues will be twisted and cannot say out quranic verses anymore.. hahah i find it funny. They even call it the devil's water.. Clearly they do not know much. I for once have not drank any holy water. or even touch it b4. (am a anglican)

Oh well, hope to hear more people from my country or the same race as me.. MALAY.

Thanks.

I'm a new member (and not a Malaysian, either) but welcome to the forum! And it's great to hear that the love of God is bringing you closer to Him. I've read a lot of apostate stories similar to yours. The deception of Islam is a tragedy to those who refuse to see the truth about it. There are a lot of non-Christians here, but as a Christian, I know the freedom you feel! A hint: it only gets better from here...

It seems Yassine thinks I'm one of his half brothers. Sorry, but I am not.

Yassine: If you read the teachings of Jesus, you will learn that deception is a trait of Satan and not God. Then perhaps you would give the proper references to your deceptive signature - which incidentally I love. You do credit to your deceptive Satanallah by following his footsteps for all to see.

Parable told on the road to Jerusalem LUKE 19, 11-27

So, Yassine, if you are trying to show that deceitfulness is a practice of Islam, most of us already know that.

Translation: "No, that's not what I thought. I only thought you were the sone of a whore."

I know what you said. But like I tried to make clear: I am not one of your long last half brothers. I you don't believe me. Go ask your mummie, she'll tell you.

No in Islam. In Islam their god is the best of all deceivers. (and yes that sounds an awful lot like the father of lies)
