Ali Sina's book: "Understanding Islam ... "

I dont think Dr. Sina should narrow his horizons by selling on ebay or on internet. He is an intellectual, logician & philosopher and he should be presented like so by his publishers & supporters.

Waiting for his book, already signed up.

I hope he can reveal his identity.

Folks: Please do NOT ask ali to disclose his idenity. It is good that he is unknown. There are many beneficial reasons for being unknown. First he will live long, family will live longer, there will be less conflicts in his family about this book, muslims will be more irritated by his unknown nature, it keeps all of us wondering till end (mystery) about his real identity, stop all the critics from digging into his past etc etc.

I agree with peacebewithyou. It is more difficult to keep Ali Sina's identity secret if the book will be a bestseller. People will ask him for interviews.
Of course I am very eager to have that book. But safety goes first.

The second step is to translate Ali's book in so many languages as possible.
We will find translators at this forum.

dear mr. ali sina

i suggest as follows,

no need to disclose your identity. the book will be more acceptable if it is written that the auther may face the same fate like salman rushdi or taslima nasrin if identity disclosed.

please dedicate few pages on indian history. how muslims had invaded my homeland and tortured and murdered hindus.

the book should be supplimented with a CD, which will contain mr. ali sina's a letter to mankind in his voice. an introduction about himself, his general view about islam and anything he may fit to include. it may contain an interview also.

please mention in the book that it may be translated to any language without prior permission from auther / publisher.

the first chapter should contain nothing else except - a letter to mankind in different languages -- as many as possible.

the cover page can have WTC before and after attack. no need to include the drawings of muhammad anywhere in the book, it will stop the muslims to proceed further.

i sincerely hope and sure that, selling 5000 copies is not a matter at all. anybody who regularly visits this site would like to have one copy. i personally like to have two. one entirely for myself -- for reading, thinking and re-reading and another for lending to my relatives/ friends.

one example, when taslima nasrin had written her controversial book ' lajja' ( meaning, shame ) it was out of market within no time. the 57 rupees book was available at the market for 180 rupees with waiting period of 1 week. same thing is bound to happen to your book also.

another advice, this book can be given free of cost to some hot-headed islamic religious leaders. atleast if one of them issue a ' fotwa ' -- 100 % publicity is guaranted. i regret, khumeini is no more when we need him most. otherwise, if he would have been alive -- he was the right person for this type of job. but their are many more like him in iran and mr. ali sina is also irani --- hence the clash will be more noiseable.

at the moment, nothing else.. just waiting. if allowed then i will translate the book in bengali language.
