Dear Amal,

I hate to see someone like you defending a wrong religion "ISLAM".

Instead of teaching about Good & Evil. Radical Muslim Clerics teach you about accusing, abusing and killing the non-Muslims. They try to hypnotize you to Hate and Kill the non-Muslims and brethren of other sects or be killed and without using any common sense, you readily believe in whatever is being said by these Hate Mongers. Actually, they are "Agents of Satan" who is paying them heavily. Instead of "Mourning" most of the Muslims are rejoicing on the brutal killings of the non-combatant innocent civilians and "The Murderers" have always been "You Great Heroes".

Before it is too late, you should use common sense, to find out the truth. The killing and cursing (as you did for Diane, which you used the word "inshallah") of others in the name of GOD is a Sin. Can a FATHER ever teach his Children to be the permanent Enemies of each other?

Friend, it is unwise to chop at God's "main tree"" Listen to what Jesus said to His disciples some months before He willingly gave Himself up to die for our sins. "From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!" But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." (Injil, Matthew 16:21-23)

Does Islam promote peace? How can it promote true peace when it denies the very means God has provided to establish a lasting peace between God and man, and between man and man? All the prophets bear witness to the fact that Jesus"made peace through the blood of His cross. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight... For [Christ Jesus] Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of division between us ..." (Colossians 1:20-22; Ephesians 2:14) Or as the prophet Micah wrote of the Messiah 700 years before He was born, "This One shall be peace."

Remember, to believe in Jesus Christ is not to embrace a RELIGION. Religion is humans trying to work their way to God through prayers, good works, etc. The Gospel (Injil, Good News) of Jesus Christ is God coming to men and women in the Person of Jesus and offering them a RELATIONSHIP with Himself. And what makes it so wonderful and sure is that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that "which God promised BEFOREHAND through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures..." (Romans 1:2).

If the true message of God's prophets is not clear in your mind-don't YOU stop here! Get a copy of the Bible and begin by reading the New Testament or log on to: http://www.goodseed.com/theprophetsenglish.html and download the book ALL THAT THE PROPHETS HAVE SPOKEN. You will be amazed at how unmistakably clear God's true message is! The back cover of this book reads: "History is strewn with wars and scrapping over religion. With the advent of the global village, people of different beliefs are being pressed up against each other, and the potential for major conflict is enormous. It behooves us to know what our neighbors believe and why they believe it. Though we may never agree with them, when we know what people believe, at the very least, we can intelligently disagree without being disagreeable." This book is a must read.

Another excellent book is THE WAY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. It's a bit longer, but, like "All that the Prophets have Spoken", it too clearly explains the central message of God's prophets. Check it out at http://www.injil.org/TWOR/. If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear from you.

Above all, I beg you to take seriously this invitation from GOD Himself ...

"You will seek Me and find Me, WHEN YOU SEARCH FOR ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART ... For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, THOUGHTS OF PEACE and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:13,11)

N.B: I speak arabic, and i was raised in the Middle-East. If it's more comfortable for you to talk and express your thoughts better in ur own language (Arabic). It would be more than a pleasure for me to talk to u and help you out to the right path.

But the unexpected happed, after days and days of asking Allah his guidance continuously, every time I come to pray or read the Quran I felt sickened, irritated, annoyed. I felt sort of shaking sometimes and angry that I started cursing silently while I am supposed to be performing my prayers. I was troubled of what is happening to me. All what I asked for is to be a better follower, and all what I got is feeling so repelled by the prayers, and the Quran. So I decided to stop praying or reading Quran for a while. And I felt bad about it. I thought maybe, “Satan” is involved! And the “devils” are messing with my mind. But later, I calmed down and gradually came to my senses, and after few months of this incident, I realized that Islam is NOT for me. I am a smart, good person, and Islam is evil wearing fake clothes of a beautiful angel.

I think we must send this story to lunatic asylum and share it to patients who have shown good progress there, hope they will read it and realize that they are not they only lunatic. Because realizing that they’re not alone would be a good encouragement for their mental therapy. Agree?

no, I dont agree, and its not funny to say things like that

Diane is not a lunatic she was reacting to the way she was treated by her religion, I know as I have worked with mentally ill people trying to help them and I also have a degree in biosciences and have experience with religious people of many faiths

she is merely honest about how brainwashing works in human society

religion often propogates itself through stress induced by threats, starvation and enforced unnatural restriction or perversion of normal behaviour and this is true of many schools of religion including Islam

such stress causes the subject to submit in confusion and change their beliefs to avoid persecution, this is a form of tyranny or bullying, it is what they do at Guantanamo and it is how terrorism is used to spread the rule of fear that calls itself Islam, neither is just, both are evil, practitioners of either are the enemy of justice

she has overthrown tyranny and beaten the bully, whereas those who do not, become a bully instead, this is the nature of much religion

religion is the advice of ancestors which has become for some an obsession, noone has a right to bully people into following their advice

justice is not a religion, it is a way of life, if you care about what is sacred in your life then do not try to communicate it through abuse

Diane,

You seem like a very intelligent woman and I hope you stay on the forum. I wish more Muslims would be able to question Islam the way you have done. I admire people that were raised with religious beliefs that are able to start thinking rationally and let go of their superstitions.

Not everyone who questions Islam will end up leaving it, ScienceRules!

In fact, there are some anti-Islamists who embrace it once they realise that it's the truth!

I was raised with religious beliefs but I still questionned Islam a lot and at times I thought it wasn't for me. I read about other religions and also about atheism but eventually I was convinced that Islam was the true religion.

I can conclude that it's all to do with individual differences. We all have different viewpoints and we see things from different perspectives. For example, If what happened to Diane had happened to me, I would've thought it was just stress from work or other things that made me feel that way!

Are u sure hell awaits disbelievers ? No, neither you nor your paedophile prophet nor the muslim ummah is sure of hell fire for disbelievers. If they really believed in such a punishment then they would'nt be so concerned about the kaffirs.
Sarah, if apostates of islam are really headed for hell then why does the sharia law sentence them to death ?
Why dont they wait for the day they get to laugh at the apostates ?

Do yer parents, family and yer friends know that ye're an ex-Muslim (an apostate) now?

Allah is a sadistic liar. In the Koran Allah says that he has made unbelievers deaf, sealed their hearts and drawn a veil over their eyes. He is lying. He has done this not to the unbelievers but to the muslims to stop them finding the "truth" and thereby leaving Islam. He was so unsure about muslims accepting his makebelieve religion that he declared that muslims "Should not ask questions the answers to which may weaken their faith". If this isn`t an admission by Allah/Muhammad that Islam was truly false and open to question, I do not know what is. Allah/Muhammad knew that Islam was a sham and the more people heard again, opened their hearts and removed the veil from their eyes the more the muslims would reject this false religion. Even Muhammad was annoyed when asked questions - why? - the answer is obvious to those who have seen the "truth".

Jesus drank wine and provided it to His guests and disciples on many occasions. Are you calling Jesus a dumb ass?

This is the typical Islamic inability to comprehend proportion. A woman wears either a burqa or a bikini. A woman is either a Muslimah or a whore. A person is either a tee-totaler or a drunkard. Never any recognition of the fact that most of us human, including the Muslims, are usually somewhere in between.

Good grief, what a whacked out system! No wonder they're so angry, what with trying to cram this many-shades-of-grey world into their narrow little black and white viewpoint.

Well kittymom, the black and white view is a facet of human psychology, its not restricted to any one religion, in fact they all do that kind of thing, including many Christians.

That kind of thinking comes most naturally to young people about twelve to eighteen years of age. The point is, with a little education people can get through it and become reasonable adults capable of facing the realities of life.

The problem being that all religions by their nature degenerate into forms of belief that prevent people from maturing mentally.

The first reason is that a minority of the older generation tend to use religion to manipulate the younger generation as they are driven by instincts to get power; and the second reason is that religions evolve to proselytise more and more effectively, because the religion that spreads fastest is the one that persists. This inevitably involves interfering with the critical faculties and preventing debate and discussion because it is just quicker that way. The true meaning of religion is inevitably lost and the mature perspective is stunted over the course of history.

I include Christianity and Islam and Hindusim and Buddhism. In fact until an educational system has degenerated to the point where it can trap people into suspending disbelief and accepting bizarre myths as though they were literally true it doesn't qualify as a religion.

This means that the only way to mature in a religious society is to realise that the religious perspective is an immature perspective and overthrow it in favour of a reasonable perspective. This is what most people do and there is IMHO a vast silent rational majority being intimidated by a violent and childish minority, the world over.
