Some Ways to Promote FFI
The majority of Muslims are decent. These Allah-fearing Muslims pray and fast at the most. They however do not read the Koran and Hadhis by understanding their meaning. We have read the Koran and Hadhis, and we could not betray humanity. We had only one choice i.e. to leave Islam. And now we want to awaken all Muslims to save the world and live in harmony. The ex-Muslims around the world have joined Faith Freedom International (FFI) to reveal the truth of Islam. We should not sit silent. We need to do something. We cannot let the hate grow among the new generation. FFI is not created to make money. FFI is created to awaken the Muslims from danger. There are several options to publicise FFI.
1. Newspapers: We can place ads on daily or weekly newspapers so that the common Muslims could know about FFI.
2. Online Ads: In popular websites like MSN or Yahoo we can advertise FFI. Near the user-id box or beside the inbox is perfect to draw attention the Muslims.
3. On the Bus, Train, and Subway: Lot of people use public transportations in North America, Australia, and Europe. So advertising on the buses, trains, or subways would be one the best ways to inform the Muslims about FFI.
4. Bulletin Boards: Students in the post secondary schools are allowed to post any kind of ads, news, or info. We therefore can post FFI URL. All we need is to stamp the flyers from the Student Unions. And stick them to the boards. It would very effective to awaken the Muslim students.
5. Yellow Pages: We can also put ads on the phone books so that the people or Muslims can be familiar with FFI.
6. Sending and Forwarding URL: The most convenient way to publicise FFI is to send the link to as many of Muslim relatives and friends of us as we can. Therefore the Muslims can easily know about FFI.
7. Publishing Books Monthly: We can also publish books. But books should be published monthly or periodically so that we can keep up to date information and post new articles.
If FFI donation level is gone up, we can order stickers or flyers (leaflets) and send them to the postmen to leave at the doors, shopping centres, or gas stations with normal flyers. Again, FFI’s mission is not to make money. Our mission is to save the human beings from an evil cult. Islam is a false religion. We are not worried about it. We however are worried because Islam is dangerous to human beings. It wants to impose Islamism to all human beings without their will, and it promotes hate towards the Kaffirs (non-Muslims). As a result we have to somehow awaken all Muslims. _________________ Al-Murtad |

There are places that you can make your own custom clothing, www.cafepress.com is just one example. I think making your own shirt with the FFI logo picture on the front would be a cool idea, and the price is not more than the cost of a regular shirt, plus its then free endless advertising for you from then on whenever you choose to wear it.
You can also make your own custom bags, journals, etc and even sell them to others on that same site.
Secondly, this may be illegal, and piss off librarians, but I always go to the public library of whichever city I'm in and find the books on Islam , or even Quran itself and write in pencil in the inside cover , www.faithfreedom.org
You could also for a few bucks make like 100 pencils or pens with the FFI logo and website and on a free day just go around town in stores or offices and slip them into the holders at registers. This is really cheap to do but the benefits last because many people will be seeing the effect of just one effort made by you. |

Agreed.
As I posted elsewhere, I'll do all of this and even more as soon as I get on my feet after vacations. Count me in as well! |

What about promoting the site on IRC (Internet Relay Chat)? Any network...
Going into an Islamic channel and posting links to this site is not what I'm talking about, it might be worth a shot but it's usually pointless: you'll quickly get banned in a knee-jrek reaction and will be labeled a troll, and possibly threatened in Arabic over private message. Though that's easy to ignore. Having a real debate in real time is very difficult in a channel like that, assuming it's even in a language and character set you can understand and vice versa.
I am a regular in some atheist channels, and if educating non-muslims should be an objective, this seems like a good place to go. I'll often post links to articles on this site (among others) to back myself up in a debate. This site is a good one for an atheist channel. If it were a site run by an ex-muslim that became a Christian (or some other religion), not too many folks in an atheist channel would bother looking. Sometimes people ask for sites that disprove Islam, and there's another opportunity to post a link.
In one particular channel, many of those who claim to be atheists (these are people I've known from the channel for about 7 years), including channel operators, have some very warped perceptions of things. There is quite a bit of ultra-extreme liberalism, and sometimes I have to wonder if it's the 5th column at work. Examples include people who are quick to denounce a Christian fundamentalist who shoots an abortion doctor for the crazy religious loon that he is, but when an Islamic group beheads civilians while shouting "God is Great!", they call them "freedom fighters", clalming that religion is not a factor here. :O These are the same people who call the BBC and even Al-Jazeera unbiased. I've even seen atheist channel ops posting links to "news" stories from mehrnews (Iranian run news), and other Islamist sites as fact to back up their argument. Typical tinfoil hat stuff coupled with obviously fabricated hate filled propoganda.. Mehrnews makes Fox News commentary look objective. These same channel participants are the first to complain about a Christian fundamentalist threat to civilization (specifically, Bush with his "faith-based initiatives" in the US) , but when anyone brings up Islam, they turn the argument around with things like "well all religions have been violent." It's a clear attempt to deflect an argument they know nothing about.
However, post enough links in a channel at the appropriate times, and hopefully eventually someone will read them. Channels like this are where the online real time debates need to occur. |

Thank you for that link. Yes we can make custom stuffs. But this is possible only in the developed Kaffir lands. If you wear a FFI- logo t-shirt in any Islamic country, you will be killed right away.

Yes it could be illegal. But it will eventually awaken the common (ignorant) Muslims. Your attempt one day will save more lives from an evil cult. We should do all the best. _________________ Al-Murtad |

How about adding the FFI address to our email signature? Every time we send an email someone may check the site. I think this would be quite an unobtrusive way of advertising by email. _________________ These are the root of all evil: fear of god, of death, of pain, and desire which goes beyond what nature requires for a happy life.

most companies have rules against this....
individuals have had accounts closed down because muslims
go crying to sites (en masse) to attack the person.
posting to usenet and other places, even if it has to initially have to be
anonymous... is probably slightly better. All postings to usenet are
archived all over the world and will show up in search engines for
decades to come.
this is why I wanted to make a faq -- to put all the words and... for the
future -- the PHRASES that come up -- so people can get to the information
quickly.

Why doesn't FFI offer email accounts like hotmail? That way we could include any signature we like and we would attract more people to the site who just want an account. _________________ These are the root of all evil: fear of god, of death, of pain, and desire which goes beyond what nature requires for a happy life.

The Mods. at islamicity forum have a mole inside hotmail and they get hotmail e-mail accounts closed of those who they don't like, without any warning or explanation on the part of hotmail.
One wonders what access these islamist moles have to the text of hotmail e-mails. |
