Fellow youngsters , what kind of Video games do you like/play in your free time??

As for me, i love the older FF games(Snes and GBA ones), Neverwinter nights, Baldur's gate, Diablo2, and some mmorpg ones.

I used to be a hardcore FPSer. Counter-Strike, UT, and the likes. Now I play MMORPGs like Guild Wars since I have no time to be competitive anymore.

I am no more a hardcore gamer as I used to be before but I still frequently play video games, especially strategy, Simulation and sometimes adventure. Right now I am playing Sim City 4+Rush hour extension pack, Capitalism 2 and Age of empires 3.

I bought AOE 3 4 months ago, but I was deeply disappointed, maybe the graphics are good, but it's just an improved and more war oriented version of AOE2. I didn't play Rome:total war yet, and I don't know if it will work well in my P4 2000 with a 64 Mo graphic card. Any Sim City 4 fan here? It would be a good idea to post screens of our cities .

Come on! if video games are waste of time, then movies and music are also a waste of time. As a way to get entertained, it's a lot better than watching television. If you want to use your grey cells and at the same time, learn something, play management games like Capitalism or simulation games like flight simulator.

I am not keen on watching movies either, I just listen to music while i am reading. I love my Grey Cells .

However, I do agree with you, Some games can be entertaining and educational. But the people always go overboard. The Sims for example will really steal your time although it can be a good way to learn about money managment, A book about money managment is much better.

Peace!

I have television at home but I haven't turn it on for 8 months. I usually get informed about national and international actuality by surfing online, and the movies, I lend them from my university library or from a video club.
I used to be really addicted to video games some years ago, but now, and for lack of time, I play rarely, twice a week at most. Reading is not only a way of getting educated, but also a great entertainment in itself.
Don't also forget that Internet is the most addictive existing tool.

What do you think about the last C&C? After all, there are the US, China and a terror organization... quite un-PC
