This article does not explain who exactly Ms. Fatima is accusing of devising a "strategy to isolate the Muslim community, so it wil submit to an archaic version of Islam." Nor is it explaining why they would want to isolate. I would very much like to know exactly what Ms. Fatima said to the legislature because it would give a good idea of how much the legislature knows about Sharia and WHY the groups want to isolate the Muslims from the larger community. Not only that, it would give the readers a better understanding of WHY.
But at least the legislature voted Sharia down. Maybe the rest of Canada will follow suit.

Could only be the Muslims who are doing that.

The Sharia is only applicable to their own community. My reading is that they wish to continue oppressing their own people through application of Sharia. At least there are a few hardy souls who can see that Sharia is archaic, and its application is an abomination.

Many take the view that the Sharia is confined to Muslims and does not affect their lives. How wrong can they be? Islam is a danger to everybody, and incidences like these give us hope that people are beginning to share this view. |

| Sharia has no place in a modern humane society. If Muhammadans want Sharia they can emmigrate to Saudi Arabia or another Islamo paradise of their choice. If need be, the Canadian Government can pay their one-way air-fares. Good riddance to 7th century barbarism. |

Have any of the Muslims started rioting? Canada is one of the biggest producers of weapons and should have plenty of machine gun bullets ready.
