ghostbusting, the wikipedia stuff you brought up doesn't show the existence of any Palestinian state or any Palestinians before modern Israel

Oh sure, the man who brags about the Six-Day War on his display picture, what you say counts a lot. You are a man who acts as if Israel is indestructible, despite the fact that Israel got a pounding in the summer of 2006 by a handful of Hezbollah guerrilla warriors.

Well I'm guessing that if you can measure victory by managing to stay alive after digging yourself into a rathole in the ground while Israel bombs the crap out of you then congratulations,Hizballah have won.

The famous "brave Islamic fighters" apparently measure their victories this way these days

Quote:
Even though the Israeli forces outnumbered Hezbollah, and Israel had better weapons, Hezbollah STILL managed to defeat Israel in a war in which even ISRAELIS say that they lost. What did Israel do in that war? They bombed bridges and hospitals, instead of taking the fight to Hezbollah, Israel felt like they were being men when instead of fighting Hezbollah, they fought Lebanese civilians!

Israel took the fight directly to Hizballah, south Lebanon is Hizballah and it was given extensive renovations courtesy of the IDF.

I don't remember Hizballah being brave,I do remember them hiding behind the backs of the Lebanese civilians, also I remember them begging for a ceasefire just as the Israeli ground offensive was going into full force.

Believe me,if Israel would have refused the cease fire and continued its ground offensive the tanks once again would have been in Beirut and Hizballah would have been begging for mercy.

It is a typical Muslim thinking that Israel has "shamed" itself,on the contrary, lessons have been learned,Israel only saw this as an opportunity to perfect its strategies.

The Lebanon war was a spur of the moment,it was unplanned and the army was not prepared as needed, still Israel hasn't exercised all of its power at all, even there and its achievements were impressive even though not at all satisfactory.

I dare Hizballah to try another stunt like that now, that is why Nasrallah can only talk bullcrap from his bunker where he still is but he will never make a move.

So believe me lessons have been learned and careful planning was done regarding Gaza,Israel does not repeat the same mistake twice.

All this from the nation you call "in terms of conventional army warfare Israel's hand is undoubtedly on the upper."

Yes,an Arab army has no chance, only a paramilitary force like Hizballah which will fight guerilla warfare and obey no international rules may have some chance,of surviving that is,but it will never be able to "defeat" Israel nor do any major damage to it.

Want any reminders, check my avatar and educate yourself about all the rest of the Israeli Arab wars.

Quote:
You make me laugh Reservist. You actually believe, that Israel has the ability to handle the Islamic Ummah. If 200 men were in a locked cage against 1 man, only a complete fool would believe that 1 man could defeat 200 men. And that is the ratio between the Israeli population and the Islamic population.

Problem is your "ummah" doesn't exist instead you all hate each other and Hamas is hated by enough members of the "ummah",they are not going to lift a finger.

Plus seriously dude,Israel has non stop live battle training, its air force is one of the best in the world not because of the f16s but because of the skills of its pilots.Saudi Arabia and the rest of them may have the same f16s but they are no match for the Israeli pilots and other forces,I doubt if they even know how to use them

Quote:

Don't you forget that in 1973, it was Egypt which single-handedly over-ran the Bar Lev fortifications in a few hours, with only a few dozen casualties. Had Egypt pressed on with their advantage, Israel would have ceased to exist. It is thanks to Sadat that the war reached a ceasefire. It is thanks to him that Egypt failed to press on with their initial advantage and let the Israeli's gather together a counter-offensive which took advantage of Egypt's pacifist approach.

Do not forget that Egypt launched a cowardly surprise attack, and also do not forget what happened at the end of that war,Egypt got its a$$ thoroughly kicked, for the second time around.

Quote:
Also, you are speaking about how Egyptian border-guards are guarding the Gaza border with Egypt, whilst forgetting that these actions are on the orders of America's puppet Hosni Mubarak and his secular regime. Are you actually stupid enough to believe that the same Egyptians who protest on behalf of Gaza are the same Egyptians who blockade Gaza's border? Are you forgetting that much of Gaza's food supply comes through Egyptian tunnels?

I do not care about who and what is in Egypt, they don't interest me in the slightest.
Egypt and Israel have a peace treaty, any act of aggression from Egypt would be considered an act of war and there will be no silk gloves there then, believe me Egypt would not want that.

Therefore, since Egypt is a brutal dictatorship it will brutally crush any Islamists foolish enough to try,Egypt is not Lebanon where the government has been taken hostage by Hizballah who can do what they want.

Quote:
Israel is a terrorist state. Israel is stolen land, which belongs to the Muslims, and the land will be returned to under the authority of the Muslim State.

I have zero care for your delusional claims and fantasies, you can go and spread that crap on ummah.com,they are all into that.

Quote:
Remember that in the early 1940's, Hitler was winning the war. Hitler, Tojo, and Mussolini were celebrating and believing that the war was in their advantage, until the US Army and the Red Army shifted the balance of the war. Don't be claiming victory yet Reservist. It's a bit premature.

So for us Hamas and everyone else who wishes to annihilate us are our new Nazis and we will act accordingly.

I am not claiming anything,I am supporting what has to be done, only a Muslim would believe that we are happy to go to war,but you have left us no other alternatives,so be it.

Now you can cry, curse, whine, accuse Israel and the west and do whatever you wish,I do not care one bit.

Israel needs to finish this job and it will do it.

Remember Gaza is not Lebanon even though Hamas has been trying very hard to make it so.
Hopefully Iran will have one less proxy soon.

Yeah we can all see what wonderful places Islamic countries are, thanks but no thanks dude.

Are you talking to me? I wrote only a short note, not the unholy Bible.

Check out media records about the miserable performance of IDF and it's troops, when they received a good beating right across the border.

Also check your own records and pics showing up IDF soldiers hanging their heads down in shame and crying and also dozens of blown up Merkawas.

this why I'm troubled with that notion Hizbollah won the war.
USA analysis reported that Hizbollah indeed fought better than IDF.
few days before the strike on Gaza, nasrallah announced solemnly, that if israel launched a strike on Gaza Hizbollah joins forces with hamas. there was only valuation that israel planing to unleashed a strike then. four days passed, since israel launched a strike and still do so.
nasrallah have not kept his word. all what he does; complains, complains, complains. any explanation why victorious organization who as claim won IDF, does not joins forces with hamas as pormised?

I think you forgot to mention this Sahih Hadith when declaring Jews and Muslims would live together in peace and stability under Sharia Law.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews. [Sahih Muslim.Book:41, Hadith :6985]

dont try to portray the JEWS as poor innocent down-trodden oppressed ppl

the HADITH you have quoted speaks of the PREDICTION of the FINAL "BATTLE" b/w the MUSLIMS & the JEWS ....

so let us analyse the complete picture then .....

the Jews would be supporters of Dajjal :

SAHIH MUSLIM Book 041, Number 7034:

Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: The Dajjal would be followed by seventy thousand Jews wearing Persian shawls.

Dajjal would spread chaos & mischief :

SAHIH MUSLIM Book 041, Number 7015:

He (Dajjal) would be a young man with twisted, contracted hair, and a blind eye. I compare him to 'Abd-ul-'Uzza b. Qatan. He who amongst you would survive to see him should recite over him the opening verses of Sura Kahf (xviii.). He would appear on the way between Syria and Iraq and would spread mischief right and left.

so Dajjal & his followers would be eradicated for the better of this world :

now quote your HADIS here .....

& tell me ...... whats wrong with that ..... ??

thanxXx ..... !!

Rumour has it that Israel has planted millions of Gharqad trees all around. Those trees will tell the Arabs that there are no Jews living in Israel. Gharqad is Jews' favorite tree.

Not just that. Later, the US and Israel also decided to use the tactic in their military training programmes. But it is no use as Hizbullah is already there next door.

No I wasn't talking to you but you must be imagining things, who cares about media reports, what matters is what on the ground and it says Hizballah will not try anything similar for a very long time.

I still fail to see what Hizballah's victory was even after two years,I must be getting dumber and dumber with age, perhaps someone can finally enlighten me?How about you?

Our records have shown us the way to improve, unlike the Muslim world we like to learn from our mistakes and Gaza so far shows that.

As for the photos,I seriously don't know what you're talking about,so Hizballah got lucky with Russian anti tank rockets and managed to destroy a few merkavas, boo hoo,Israel has many more tanks at the ready.

Also do you think this ability was not taken into account this time?

The whole Israeli military loss was about a 100 soldiers, not a very high number by all means, most of it due to stupid mistakes not because of "Hizballah bravery".
Hizballah lost over 500 fighters and I suspect the actual losses were much higher.

Hizballah may have fired 1000s of rockets into Israeli cities but out of every 1000 only a few managed to do any actual big damage or kill someone.

On the other hand Hizballah lost all of their long range rocket arsenal,South Lebanon and Hizballah controlled parts of Beirut got a major a$$ kicking from which they still haven't recovered and Nasrallah still sits like a little rat in his bunker talking crap,I dunno maybe he dared to walk out once, that was it.

I don't think that was their game. They showed everyone that they could single-handedly beat Israeli forces and they did that. Thus IDF's weakness has been exposed.

Bombing a city is easy but in man to man combat, I would say, Israelis are still weak.

I believe Israel has been tamed.

Rubbish!

There is a diference between well entrenched defence forces and offensive forces taking them.

Turn the equation around.

How would you fare fighting hand to hand in an Arab invasion of Israel?

And the Pakistani's and Iranians can also turn Israel into a memory with the press of a button. Pakistan has long-range nuclear missiles and Iran already possesses long-range missiles, although they are not nuclear.

If it makes you feel like a "man" while you sit in your air-conditioned AirCraft Navy Carrier and pressing a few buttons to destroy thousands of people, then so be it.

But real men go out and fight it out, like men. I know that the Israeli men may have a shortage of testosterone (thus explaining why they have small balls and no bravery. It may also explain why they can't get laid whenever they travel outside of Israel. Not to mention their feminine demeanor) but Egyptian soldiers and Pakistani soldiers ARE men who are willing to fight it out and place their own lives at risk.

The Israeli's have no real men, so please stop bragging about their "military ability".

Don't make me laugh.
