I think that is what these little trolls do. They are superb bad examples.
Their debate tactics (if they exist) are so ridiculously juvenile they only serve as good targets. Everytime they post, they only advertise their own ignorance. The ones who come in here spewing foul language and hate are probably the best argument against themselves. As the old saying goes:

I'm bringing this up again because (I realize now) I've accused about a dozen posters of trolling in the last few weeks. I shouldn't name names as it's against the rules to start a thread to attack another member. Anyway, they know who they are and I hope they read this.
Which raises the questions, why does this forum attract so many trolls? For every anti-FFI poster who wants to debate in a reasonable manner we seem to get 3 or 4 who have no purpose but to annoy. Have we just created an unproductive environment for discussion where anyone who disagrees with party line, so to speak, feels they can only express themselves through trolling? Or maybe we shouldn't worry because, as Runesinger said, it's actually helping our cause to have so many "bad examples"?

I wouldn't say that there are so many of them, but it's always the same trolls coming back over and over again. Best example is BMZ. What I am always puzzled about, is that these persons have such a sad life so they can not only troll a forum, but even with multiple nicks.  Imagine the time and work going into that. Dedicating their time and effort to a place they don't even like. What does that give to someone? Are they so desperate for attention that even a negative one will do?

| Another possibility is that they are sore losers who have resorted to vandalism since they cannot discuss with kafirs about Islam in any logical meaningful way. Or maybe they're just your garden-variety Muslim with the typical arrested development. |

I think Cassandra is quite right, this site galls them... but they cannot disprove it, so try to disrupt it instead. A pity.

My intention is to bring people to the G-d of Abraham, Moses, Isaac etc

Well I do not mask my distrust of Athiests, that's true. If they cant accept G-d into thier lives, and live their lives as though G-d didn't exist, then I have no respect for them. Would you welcome guests into your house who do not only acknowledge your rightful ownership of the house, but also denied your very presence/existence?

Sitting in a protected enclave and crying out loud Trolls! Trolls! shows total immaturity.
I don't think the Site should give any protection to posters who are unable to debate and discuss with Muslim posters.
In fact, I have seen during exchanges between Muslims and ex-Muslims that members and regular posters are the real trolls, who disturb the exchanges.
Banning genuine posters, upon seeing regular resident members being outwitted and beaten during exchanges, will only lead to posters to come back under another nick.
That, I am writing this note, does not mean I am a troll.
Simply put, accusing others of trolling shows a defeatist attitude of the members. Don't complain. Be bold and discuss.
If one is contributing to discussions positively, do not cry Troll! Troll!
There are hardly a few Muslims tackling a large numbers of ex-Muslims and other non-Muslims in a way far nicer than the in-house crowd. The site moves because of Muslims. No Muslims, no FFI.
This is not a place to sit down, lament and cry foul. Those who cannot discuss and debate should sit on the fence idly and read.
Muslim "trolls" make this forum move. If no Muslims here, all will either be nodding to each other or quarreling with each other.
I hope the management does not listen to such childish complaints. |
