My mum became a muslim when she got with my stepdad. I think its like that with a lot of women who convert.

But I have seen it so many times in the UK that it hurts. Creeping Islamification, marriage is a greater tool than war. |

What is sad is, your mom, you, your stepdad, her family, his family....none of them will know if she is with your stepdad cause she loves him or is afraid of him beating her, or because she will go to hell. Ask her, does she choose him cause she loves him or is it because of what she stands to loose? Sad situation no matter what. That is islam. It cheapens the love of a good women, so much so that now no muslim will know.
I want to know a man loves me for me, not because he can beat me into submission or because he fears the afterlive of some long dead prophet.

So Syinfia started a thread with "Why do western women convert?"..
I was reading Jawed Naqvi in Dawn . An Indian who writes in to Dawn. I guess he replaced Pakistan's Ayaz Ameer.. A very well known and well respected Journalist/Politician. Indians are replacing every one in Pakistan Any way., Apart from all that Indo-Pakistan war Hoopla., he wrote a funny story of a Hindu Man and his wife converting in to Islam., Apparently he is a very high profile Indian Politician..

That is indeed funny.. I guess this is his 2nd marriage.., now my man is Muslim.. so he can get two more.. Allah hoo Akbaaar...
