Unfortunately, in my experience (and I'm not young), all the Muslim men I know have proved themselves significantly inferior to all the western women I have as friends in all the following areas: mentally, intellectually and philosophically. I see no evidence of their tolerance, compassion, understanding, ability to think with reason. I only see a tendancy towards violence, blind faith, arrogance, agression, bullying, cowardice, inability to act independantly, etc etc.
This is what I don't understand:
Surely if you want people to think and behave like you do because you think your way is better, you do it through example and not dogma and force.
I have tried to be open minded but as yet I have seen nothing about Islam that would ever make me consider it my religion of choice. |

The Actual Translation is as follows:
(Al-Kitaab Ch: 33 V:37) : When you (Messenger) spoke to one (Mr.A), who has blessings of Allah and your blessings:
"Be in touch with your wife, and fear Allah. And what ever you (Mr.A) hide in yourself (Mr.A), which Allah has manifested: you (Mr.A) do fear the people, but it is more fitting that you (Mr.A) should fear Allah".
Then when additional desire completed from her, we (Messenger) have made your (Mr.A) pair with her:
So that there may be no problem to the Believers in pairs they called, when they have fulfilled their desire from them. And Allah's command must be fulfilled.
What is the desire of a woman?
(Al-Kitaab C:33: V:38 )..O Prophet! say to your wives: If you desire this world's life and its adornment, then come, I will give you a provision and allow you to depart a goodly departing.
In a fact you people like other Muslims are purposely misguided by forefathers of Ali Sina by inventing stories.

The two can also been seen as abuse of women in Islam. As commonly dictatorship, domination and everything in the Qur'an can make out that as a whole, Islam advocates the full use of abuse against women
