On the Islamist Web site, a group calling itself the Al Mujahedeen Brigade, posted a photograph of a man it claimed was a captured U.S. soldier named John Adam, and it threatened to behead him if Iraqi prisoners are not released by U.S. forces.

If it's an action figure then no blood will come out.

Stretch Armstrong! I knew I had that wrong. The kid next door owned one but he broke the plastic covering and it oozed red corn syrup (?) all over the sidewalk. I was traumatized for a week. Oh, the memories.

This is the kind of stuff where immigrants get lost. We played with sticks and empty cans a good portion of the time. (O.K. some marbles, tops and rubber balls, but that was about it.)

Back to the topic; I saw that on Fox News and I couldn't stop laughing for a good couple of minutes. What an idiotic Media, desperate to be back to their 'bad news from Iraq' template.

Was Fox reporting it as a fake or did they report it as a real G.I kidnapping?

When I saw it they were reporting it as a fake, they might have fallen for the hoax earlier in the day, that I don't know.

The reason they are so eager to report these things is because the Leftwing media and all their PC-Dhimmi supporters wanted it to be real.

News flash!

Just in from Pox news.... Unconfirmed reports say that Army Ken has been kidnapped from an undisclosed store in Syria. Store manager, Abdul bin Abdullah, said that "one minute he was there, and the next he was gone!". Video footage showed two burly Arab looking men acting suspiciously in the action figure section of the store just prior to the kidnapping. They appear to have had difficulty getting Ken out of his box and had to resort to pulling out a pistol.

Asked about the lax security for Ken, the store manager said that they were not equipped to deal with terrorists kidnapping. "What can I do? I did my best.... Ken is always accompanied and is surrounded by GI Joe action figures. You would have thought that would have been sufficient protection."

Russell Arons, vice president of marketing at Mattel, held a press statement in Southern California and said that "Mattel is very concerned. At this moment, our thoughts are with Ken and Barbie. Although the couple had split in February last year, they remain close friends. Barbie is inconsolable."

He also added that should the unthinkable happen, the new line of Barbie will feature "Mourning Barbie" and expects sales of "Army Barbie" to take off.

In later developments, Hasbro, the managers of GI Joe action figures issued a statement denying rumours that GI Joes have been instructed not to defend Ken with too much vigour due to ongoing rivalry between the two. Frank Boz of Hasbro added that “GI Joe is a true American Hero sworn to fight for Truth, Justice and the American way. American kids will testify that GI Joe will defend any American to the death, including Ken.”

Moments ago, an unconfirmed report on the internet claimed responsibility on behalf of al-Qaida.
