Thank you... That has been one fact that seems have been overlooked in this whole mess.

When Chechnya started causing problems (and all of you know my feelings on that), the Georgians were all too happy to help out Basylev and his band of butchers. They should have considered themselves lucky that the Russians didn't take more issue with their support of the Chechens than they did.

And the Georgians obviously didn't learn anything from the Chechens... You go picking fights, you're going to get a black eye. The Chechens had their Dagastan, Georgia had Ossetia. And both got their teeth kicked in.

If anything, the Georgians should be glad they haven't been bombed into rubble like the Chechens.
