Imam of “9/11 Mosque” will travel M.E with US taxpayers’ Money
Imam Faisal Abdur Rauf, the so-called peaceful Imam will be travelling to Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates for a 15-day tour. The trip will cost about $16,000 and he will receive $200 daily as honorarium. The state department will also pay for his lodging and the airfare.
Apparently, this is not the first time for Rauf to visit the M.E. His first tour was under Bush administration and he had another trip earlier this year- all sponsored by the state department.
Rauf has become a controversial figure after his announcement of building an Islamic project including a mosque near Ground Zero where 3,000 US citizens died because of Islamic terrorism.
In an interview after the attack on 9/11, Rauf blamed the US policy for the attack. He also dodged a question on notorious Hamas party. He was asked if he approves their action, but he neither approved nor condemned Hamas.
Ironically, he will be promoting religious tolerance and explain how Muslims live in America.

It seems under the obama adminstration the apeasement of Islam has been taken to a higher level. Is this adminstration doing anything similar for other religions to in the spirit of fairness to all religeous communities? I wonder.

I do not believe it does any good to knock Islam. It's like slapping a drug addict around and scolding him in an effort to induce him to stop putting that needle in his arm. What good does that do? Until he "sees" himself free, he will be a a slave to that needle. Until you free his mind…..unlock his thinking….
I am for presenting the facts as to what following Islam really means to a person's life. To me it is a religion of enslavement. I am a Christian, but I do not excuse fanatical religious zealots who murder in the name of God, no matter what their religion is.
Don't forget that fanatical "Christians" exist also. I am proud of the fact that when a fanatical Christian acts out their psychotic violence we quickly condemn the behavior and prosecute. Not so in Islam. The silence, from the Muslim community, after 9/11 was deafening. It was crystal clear to the entire world that Muslims, as whole, condoned the murder of Americans. If a nutty "so called Christian" had done this unspeakable act, there would be outrage on the part of true Christians. Christians speak out, loud and clear because we are free. And as our Founders said, "Live free, or die."
Having studied the Bible, the Koran and other books of faith as a child, and realizing the origins of Islam, I cannot embrace it as truth. It is a tragic counterfeit of the Truth. But I will not spew out childish ideas about Islam. This is not something Christ would do. He would plainly state the truth but without any malice, or ill intent. Because of Christ, I am free to say, or do anything. But Muslim's are not free, they are slaves. And slaves cannot speak out except to say what they are told to say. Islam promotes fear in order to control their slaves.
Free people are able to speak out without fear. Can you imagine the courage it took for those young people to take to the streets in Iran? They dare to imagine their world free and some died for that dream. Where was the US support for them? When President Obama failed to show support and outrage for the slaughter of these innocents, we as a people had to take to Web to show our support. We reached out with words of encouragement and got heartbreaking, grieving responses and blood stained pictures.
I am against the spread of Islam because it enslaves the innocent, and creates a life of hopelessness for every person who is born into it, or, because of despair, falls prey to it. I am grieved over the human rights violations and the fear in the eyes of those who live under Islamic Law. I am moved to tears over the stoning of women and the disadvantaged, oppressive education of children who are forced to learn only one way of life and are indoctrinated from birth to hate people that they will, most likely, never know.
Until we are ALL free, none of us is free. Pray for the slaves of Islam. Pray for their freedom. Pray for the pain they carry. . Pray for the isolation that cuts them off from the rest of humanity. Pray for their fear to speak out. Pray that they will be able some day to take their rightful place among free society, to think, feel, speak and live FREE. FREE FROM CONDEMNATION. FREE FROM OPPRESSIVE LAWS.
In the mean time, we Americans cannot condone any acts of violence against us. America is a free nation forged from the fires of oppression. A "beacon of light, set upon a hill". We cannot afford to let the darkness of Islam enslave us because if we fall, we take a thousand with us. And we do no good to the slaves of Islam when we wink, or condone the violence of Islam and its suffocating laws.
We remember 9/11 because that was the day that the darkness of Islam reared its ugly head for the whole world to see. America was targeted for a very special reason, just like the site for the mosque in NY was specially chosen. This is a battle between the Forces of Light and the Forces of Darkness. It is a battle between the Forces of Freedom and the Forces of Slavery. President Obama wants us to forget 9/11 and call it "A Day of Service". He lives in two worlds, ours and Islam. He will never be, truly our President.
But we will never forget 9/11 Because if we do, the entire world will fall into the bottomless abyss of oppression and slavery.
Live free, or die.

Very well thought out, structured post that places the true value of freedom in right perspective and exposes how the rabid fanatics exploit the values of liberal world to further their own interests. The real danger is when the so called educated and liberal folks fall for the traps of the persuasive ways of the followers of this cult called islam.
No one should ever forget what happened on 9/11 in those few defining minutes, just as we cannot afford to forget what happened in Nazi Germany during the 30s and 40s. Same way, we cannot forget what happened in Hiroshima / Nagasaki in 1945. Let the world be not driven by fanatics, dictators, and blind cults or religions. The price of that ignorance is going to be too high.
