The confusion is normal. All ex-Muslims go through it. For some it lasts a long time. I had to battle with mine for nearly two years.
The reason I left Islam is simple. I did not find any truth in it. Furthermore, I saw it is very evil and dangerous.
I do not follow any religion. I have made up my own religion. The gist of it is, don’t do to others what you would not want to be done to you. It is simple but it is absolute truth.
I have also devised a philosophy to go with it. What is a religion without a philosophy? Based on my philosophy all creation is interrelated, or to use a more fancy word, entangled. We are not distinct beings but manifestations of one single reality. Our individuality is an illusion even this illusion is temporary. Take the example of rain drops. They form in the clouds and as they become heavy they gravitate towards the earth. The individuality of a drop of rain lasts one or two minutes. It shatters when it hits the ground. But the drop does not get destroyed. It goes back to the ocean from where it came from and becomes one with all other drops. The rain drops last a minute or two but oceans have been around for billions of years and will be around for billions more.
What is the purpose of this coming and going? The rain brings life to the world. Thanks to it, plants and animals in the dry land can flourish. For the drop, the rain cycle may mean a futile exercize, but for the world it is everything.
Now take the example of a tree. What is the purpose of a tree? It strives against all odds to survive and to grow. Its fruits are eaten by birds and other animals to eventually fall to the ground, become food to ants and compost for other trees. What was the purpose of all this? For the tree it may have meant nothing but all trees and plants together make life possible on earth, the insects, the birds, the four legged animals and humans depend on trees for their survival.
Our lives as individuals may mean nothing. We come to the world only for a few short years and die. What is the point of life? The point is that we are part of this universe, making it churn and go around.
This is the philosophy of my made up religion. We don’t come to the world to be tested for our stupidity and then rewarded with virgins. We come to the world to enrich it. In fact we are never born and will never die. We have existed always and will exist always, only in different forms. We are part of each other. You, me, the mountains, the oceans, the trees, the fish, the birds and the kitty that is curling on my lap, are one in essence. But we are not aware of it, because this illusion of individuality has separated us. If you become aware of this oneness, you will come to see that kindness to others is kindness to yourself. And likewise cruelty to others is cruelty to yourself. We are like cells in the same body. Our wellbeing depends on the wellbeing of all other cells.
Is this philosophy true? Maybe it is and maybe it is not. But that is the beauty of a made up religion. If tomorrow I find something better I just change it. I don’t have to believe in a foolish dogma made up by some camel herder psychopath. I am much more smarter than him and can make up a religion than make sense.
You say you hate Muslims. Indeed, those who follow Muhammad can be disgusting. I am baffled of how much evil these people are capable of. But they are sill part of us. Even if a member of your body is sick and pains you, it is still your body. You can’t chop your arm because it aches. You can’t throw away your liver because it is sick. Muslims are sick and a pain in the ass, but they are not separate from us. We fight darkness not with the sword but with light.
Your friends who think you are from Satan because you criticize Islam are fools. All those who blindly follow, do not use their brains or maybe don’t have a brain.
Islam is false, but it is growing thanks to procreation. Muslims procreate like rabbit. If you leave rabbits unchecked they can multiply fast. This does not mean there is more truth to them. Muslims come to the west, procreate and use the tax payer’s money of the non-Muslims to raise their litters who grow up hating those very people who feed them.
I can fully appreciate how you feel. Islam is not a powerful ideology; it is a controlling ideology. It is a fear based ideology and often getting out of this web of fears is difficult.
You did not say whether you live in the west or in an Islamic country. If you live in an Islamic country you have to be very careful. Don’t discuss religion with your friends. Muslims are not your friends. Your best friend can turn against you. Stay safe and keep your beliefs to yourself. When we have enough people who have secretly left Islam we can bring the change suddenly.

Christians do not present the concept of the sacrifice of Jesus correctly. This is really not that difficult to understand. A soldier fights to defend his country. He does not go to war to die but is prepared for it. He dies so his countrymen can live. Thanks to his sacrifice his nation can be free. He pays the price for the freedom of others with his blood.
This is how the sacrifice of Jesus has to be understood. He was killed in his battle to educate others and set them free. There is nothing illogical in it. However, if you interpret the sacrifice of Jesus the way Christians do, as if it was something predetermined and necessary, then of course it is absurd.

Truth is relative. If I say sugar is bad for you, it is true, but is it absolutely true? Of course not! All religions have some good points and some not so good points. The teachings of Christ in the Sermon of Mount are good. The Ten Commandments are good. A lot of what Buddha said is good. Most of the teachings of Baha’u’llah are good. At the same time I do not believe anyone of these religions are from God. Islam on the other hand is one religion that has very little good teachings in it. In its core Islam is evil. It also has a few scattered good teachingst. We are talking about shades not absolutes.
I do not judge religions on the bases of true or false. I evaluate them on the scale of good and evil. Other faiths have many good teachings and some not so good. Islam hardly has any good teaching. The little good that is in it is borrowed from other traditions. 99% of Islam is sheer evil and stupidity.
and Ali I am not trying to prove “Miracles” of science in Quran but I know science and There is not a single verse also that is against or in contradiction with Established Science. I regularly visit Anwering-Islam site where they try to prove Scientific Errors in Quran but that made me laugh because they take Quran as “SCIENTIFIC BOOK” and try to prove it wrong but as you know in Quran it is written that Quran is “BOOK OF SIGNS” .
Oh no! The Quran is not written as a book of signs. Muhammad was emphatic that his book is clear, easy to understand and with no doubt in it. When he said the earth is an expanse like a bed, or that sperm is a fitly water that is generated from the backbones, or that the world was made in six days, or that all animals have societies similar to ours, etc. he meant them literally. There is no way to interpret these stupid claims other than what they actually mean

Yes looks like you are very confused. However, since you think the Quran is the book of signs you have to tell us about those signs. Go and tell these things to Zakir Naik and other Muslims who think the Quran is scientific. When Muhammad says stars are in the lower heaven and the Moon is above them what sign is he talking about? Explain please the meaning of the Quranic claims about the Sun setting in the murky waters, or when it says the Moon is a luminous object, or the balderdash passed as explanation of the formation of embryo. The only sign that I can see in the Quran is that its author was an ignoramus. It is also the sign that humans are indeed gullible and can be easily fooled. If you see another sign please explain.

2) In Valmiki's Ramayan, please show me the chapter number and the verse number that point to Sita willfully heading to Lanka, as you claim.
3) From Vyas' Mahabarat, please point me to the chapter number and the verse number that talks about Krishna receiving the curse that you claimed he received.

And in the Valmiki Ramayan, in the Aranya Kanda, in the chapters 47 – 49,which narrate the abdcution of Sita by Ravana, please point out ONE him that even remotely indicates that Sita went to Lanka WILLFULLY as you claim.

As much as I am glad about your compliment, I am only a student of religious scriptures and of having discussions in an articulate manner. My other point is that, I donot know where others live (in the Indian context) but in addition to these discussions, people need to go to communities to create awareness about the evils of Islam.
In the state of Tamilnadu,for example, in the country side, the average person thinks that Muhammad and Jesus and Adishankaracharya are all similar where their purposes are concerned and I know of incidents in Tamilnadu,where Hindus have given away land willingly to construct a mosque.And today in the state of Punjab, the Hindus and Sikhs are trying to rebuild some of the mosques that were brought down during the partition,for the miniscule Muslim community that lives there. These commoners have no clue as to what they are doing. I do my 2 cents in communities like these to educate them on Islam. Indians are painfully unaware of the history of Islam in India.
And do you know Zakir Naik's IRF gives rudimentary training to their members on becoming priests in far away temples in the state of UP,hidden from the so called mainstream. The priest will keep telling at every instance to the Hindus (usually poor farmers) that come to the temple that the vedas tell Muhammad is the ONE. We should do more at a ground level to take on Islam,especially in India.
I hope this is only an extension of the efforts that Ali Sina launched a decade ago.

Valmiki described Ram as a coward, pathetic, spineless vagabond. eldest son of Dasaharata, but could not be succeeded as a king due to his ignorance, stubborn, hopeless, illiterage, phaedophile, tyrant, barbaric, character compared to his younger step brother Bharat, he screwed Shita while she was 6/7 years old and was very mean to her. So Dasharata chose Bharata to be as a king. Here the poet thief Valmiki brings (Kaikeyi ‘s)another story to cover up Ram's incapability & cowardice. But breaking the tradition his subjects were very happy, no this no evidence of mass unrest or threat, because ordinary people knew Rama as scoundrel.

So, Valmiki actually described Ram as a vagrant who was banished & wondering outside the locality and struggling for food.
Pirate Valmiki described again – "Rama is subverted from kingdom, thus dwindled is valour, thus winded down is his anima, thus he has become a pitiable one, thus he became an ascetic as nothing else is there for him to undertake"
When Ravan wanted to take her, The only dialogue Shita exchanged to Ravan
"you who wish to abduct me, think twice, for my husband is Rama, and let safety prevail on whole of your dynasty" This is very usual pretended dialogue at the eve of in their romantic journey beginning to divert her attention to the Guards who saw she was flying with Ravan alone.
"Shita did never say ‘on abducting me you will not survive…' but said 'on abducting me, or women like me…' this is to say that any husband devote-wife is not to be subjected to such humiliation.’ This is a custom of the conventional society. Comparatively Ram was a shabby, hopeless beggar, No where pirates Valmiki described Ram as a courageous, brave, powerful, wealthy, popular king, but merely as a human.
Shita lived dunder Ravan's care in his Promod Kanon palace as his wife with all comfort, luxuries, resources available ( which she never had in Ram polygamy steps mothers poor family background). Despite all the efforts of celestial bodies, heavenly Gods, their prayer, combined strength in no way Ram could win the war against Ravana without the help of Ravana hypocrite, brother Vivison- who was lust for power and wanted to be the king. Through out Ramayana we don’t see any heroic fight of Rama and his brother. Inspite of all effort by Valmiki to depict Ram as a hero, Ravana is the real hero and Rama character is gloomy to the ,wisdom, brightness of Ravan.

Finally Ravan was a native Indian king , who was glorified, powerful, patriotic, courageous, popular king. Everyone in heaven & earth was sunned by his heroic movement, richness, glory , and power. While that lord of demons is abducting her in the skyway, Seetha became frenzied with bewildered faculties and then bawled stridently like a hysterical person. [3-49-23]

Yes,Modhusudon Datta converted to christianity for his own choice because he hate bengali language. but he paid the high price for that. All of his works are writen in Bengali except, vision of the past & captive lady in his earlier failed years . but he realize his comedy of Errors very soon.

I only read a very small fraction of Modhu's that poem in college many years ago for academic study. No one concern about his personal mistake, but he will always be known as the king of highest king of Bengal literature.

Valmiki’s life time is only less than 400 Bc . so Ramayan is just between over 2,200 -2,300 years old. Before that one Knew about Rama, Ramayan. No body heard about Lord Rama, before balmiki wrote Ramayan. Indian history, archeology does not support any evidence of Ram.

My first question is: if the big bang happened around 13+ billion years ago, did time, space, and matter exist prior to big bang? If yes, how long did it take before the explosion (big bang) took place? If the answer is no, then what are the governing laws of physics to explain the latent state in which they existed? Further, if the universe started to expand from the time of big bang, how long will it continue to expand? I didn't find answers to these questions in the videos. Perhaps, I am unaware of the latest scientific discoveries which could provide satisfactory answers to these questions.

Do you agree with me, the question of origin of life and the driving force behind it will lead to so many question without having satisfactory answer, as there are a lot of unknown, for example from recent news it said that it actualy took more than 13 billion years of our universe’s existence, and the new found of massive star. And the question of why we haven’t seen any ape talking yet. I believed, human made through evolution process (but not Darwin‘s style) which at some stage given spirit of god, the knowledge, talent that set us apart from animal or ape.
May be what we better concentrate is, on how we interact with others to make this world a better place to live with each others, its good to keep up with sience though on how samall we are, and the unkown yet to be revealed so we appreciate the creator.
