Lovely - Jihadist Attack on Military in Arkansas Receives Paltry Media and Presidential Attention

Pam Meister

Much is being made in the media about the murder of a doctor who performed late-term abortions by a radical pro-life activist - even President Obama took the time to comment on it. Let me state up front, as someone who used to consider myself "pro-choice" but find myself moving more firmly into the pro-life camp, I don't believe that cold-blooded murder of abortion doctors is either morally or politically defensible and the perpetrators should always be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. One prominent blogger likens it to domestic terrorism, and I have to say I agree.

That being said, I find it chilling that we've only seen the most perfunctory reporting of the murder of one U.S. soldier and the wounding of another at a Little Rock, Arkansas recruiting station. The suspect is a convert to Islam who has been under investigation by FBI's Joint Terrorist Task Force since he returned from Yemen. (So much for the idea that law enforcement can take care of the problem.) The suspect, Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad (formerly Carlos Bledsoe), 23 (I have also seen his age listed as 24), apparently was opposed to the U.S. military. According to Little Rock Police Lt. Terry Hastings, "He has converted to (Islam) here in the past few years. We're not completely clear on what he was upset about. He had never been in the military. He saw them standing there and drove up and shot them. That's what he said."

Private William Long, 23 was killed on the scene and Private Quinton Ezeagwula, 18, was wounded. They were working at the recruiting center at the time and were standing outside on a break.

Since it has suddenly become trendy to publicly support our troops now that a liberal is in the White House, one might wonder why the shooting of two members of our fine military is being treated as any other run-of-the-mill news story, dwarfed by continued hyperventilating coverage of the marital problems of reality TV stars Jon and Kate Gosselin and Susan Boyle coming in second in the Britain's Got Talent finale. Yet the reason may be simpler than we think: the suspect is a Muslim and, dare I say, black. In today's multicultural, Balkanized, ultra sensitive society, this gives him double minority victim status and thus he escapes the kind of scrutiny normally given in heinous circumstances such as these.

As of this writing, there has been no public statement about the Little Rock shooting from either President Obama or his representatives in the White House. I realize he's on his way to the Middle East and is just as busy as he can be, but somehow he managed to find time to pledge U.S. support in helping to do whatever is necessary to find out what happened to the Air France plane that recently disappeared over the Atlantic as if flew from Rio de Janeiro to Paris.

His administration also found the time to encourage American embassies around the world to invite Iranian officials to their July Fourth festivities. That's just how I'd love to spend the Fourth - watching fireworks and munching hot dogs and potato chips with Ahmadinejad's drones.

According to the news stories I've seen, Muhammed doesn't seem to be a part of any

organized terrorist group, a prosecutor said he admitted to shooting the soldiers "because of what they had done to Muslims in the past." And since when do Jihadists need a connection to al Qaeda or the Taliban to get the job done? Think about the foiled terror plots in Fort Dix, Brooklyn, and Goosecreek, South Carolina and get back to me.

Another factor in this reluctance to brand this act as a Jihadist terror attack on our homeland is that groups like CAIR have done a bang up job of squelching honest debate about Jihad and extremist Islam, as noted by the experts such as Dr. Zuhdi Jasser and Steven Emerson. For another example, note how Islamic scholar and critic Robert Spencer was targeted by CAIR within recent years. Who wants to run afoul of that smear machine?

Amazingly, despite media pressure to the contrary, Americans by a 2-1 ratio, support keeping Gitmo open. Still, don't expect American concerns about terrorists, either foreign or homegrown, to encourage the media to give the recruiting center story much more coverage. It doesn't fit the "everything's great now that Obama's president" theme that has been going for nearly six months now.

Keith Olbermann once odiously compared right wingers to Jihadists. Here's a real-life Jihadist, gunning down those who volunteered to serve our nation in cold blood. What will Keith say about him?

Jihad Comes to Central Arkansas

Mark Taylor

It began as a normal, non-descript Arkansas summer day. As the temperature crept up into the 90s, the unthinkable happened as Jihad found its way into Central Arkansas while her citizens scurried about their lives, seemingly unaware. On Monday, June 01, 2009, 23 year old William Long, a soldier who had just finished basic training, was remorselessly murdered outside the Army/Navy recruiting station at the Ashley Square Shopping Center in Little Rock, dying shortly after being taken to a Little Rock hospital. A second soldier, Quinton Ezeagwula, was wounded and remains in stable condition.

Although these callous murders were clearly inspired at least in part by the very ideology with which we are at war, radical Islam, in a display of flabbergastingly bad judgment the Commander-in-Chief of these dead and wounded American soldiers, Barack Obama, has not spoken one word of either outrage or compassion for the event. Why do that and spoil all the fun he'll have at his Cairo speech?

But I digress.

Little Rock police quickly arrested their suspect, Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad, 24, of Little Rock, also known as Carlos Bledsoe, whose description was a perfect fit to the terrorist profile. Muhammad, according to Little Rock Police Chief Stuart Thomas, "likely carried religious and political motives" in the shooting. Thomas also told KATV in Little Rock that the military was specifically targeted.

As I watched the horror unfold a mere 97 miles north of my farm house in South Arkansas, I waited for the standard reporting in the mainstream media that usually accompanies such a heinous attack, yet it never came. In an apparent hate crime, Muhammad viciously murdered one of our brave soldiers, a young man who had just made the decision to dedicate his life to serving his country. Muhammad's "motives" were apparent in the KATV news story - a black Muslim who brutally murdered one and seriously wounded another because of their uniforms and dedication to serving this nation by keeping her secure from the very radical ideology that is personified in the likes of Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad.

Murders are common in Little Rock, the center of Arkansas and its capitol. Little Rock police competently respond to and investigate murders every day, without the assistance of the FBI. However, in this case, Muhammad had been under FBI investigation prior to the murder. The profile fit. A young, recent convert to Islam, traveling to Yemen on a Somali passport. Inspection of his vehicle after the shooting, according to KATV, yielded more than 100 rounds of ammunition, an SKS assault rifle, two pistols and two military books.

The KATV report further quoted Chief Thompson as saying Little Rock police believe Muhammad acted alone and that he is not thought to be part of a "broader scheme." What is noticeably absent from the report, however, is that often the Jihadist acts alone or within a small terror cell - their motives, plans and identities not known to others in their mosques or neighborhoods. They act just as Muhammad did - on his own, carrying out a small, seemingly isolated attack on the very institutions that hold this nation together. In this case, it was the U.S. military and two young men whose only crime was to be standing outside the recruiting center in broad daylight in a middle class neighborhood. That was all, apparently, that Muhammad needed to unload his assault rifle in a stream of gunfire filled with hate.

While Muhammad sits in jail in Little Rock, facing one capital murder charge and 15 counts of terrorist acts to which he has pled "not guilty," even while saying that he would have killed more people had they been in the parking lot, the media is tripping over itself painting the Little Rock shooting as an "isolated incident," much like they have each time in reporting the other crimes by Jihadist groups in Newburgh, New York; Ft. Dix, New Jersey and Goosecreek, South Carolina. While apparently being treated as a law enforcement case, it is an obvious act of an overall war, as the nation continues its War on Terror, a war against radical Islam. Two American soldiers were gunned down on a quiet Little Rock, Arkansas street, much in the manner used by the enemy in Iraq and Afghanistan.

And as a state mourns the tragedy of Jihad in Central Arkansas, the root cause of the murderous act is ignored: a radical, hate-filled belief system that is creeping its way into our prisons and into the country's mosques and communities. Yes, the unthinkable, Jihad, has come to Central Arkansas. When will it come to your town?

One Dead, One Wounded During Jihad at Army Recruiting Station in Little Rock

Jim Kouri, CPP

A suspected "Jihadist" killed one US Army recruiter and wounded another during a morning attack in Little Rock, Arkansas yesterday.

According to the New York City Police Department's Intelligence Division, the suspect, a black male, drove his SUV by the Army/Navy Recruitment Center located at the Ashley Area Square Shopping and opened fire on two recruiters standing outside of the military recruitment offices.

Emergency Medical Responders pronounced one of the recruiters DOA (dead on arrival), while the other recruiter was rushed to the hospital where he is in critical, but stable, condition.

Following the drive-by shooting, bloodshed and the subsequent pursuit, local police officers captured the suspect near the Interstate (I-30/I -630) highway interchange.

After taking the suspect into custody, police discovered a SKS rifle, a .22 caliber handgun, ammunition, and a "suspicious" package, according to the NYPD Intelligence Division's William O'Regan, a research specialist.

Police said that the suspect surrendered without incident and that he used language "indicating his association with "Jihad."  He also indicated the possible existence of explosives.

The Little Rock police officers at the scene brought in their department's Hazmat/Bomb Squad, who retrieved the suspicious parcel for analysis.

Little Rock police reported there were no other suspects involved in the deadly attack.

According to NYPD Intelligence, military installations continue to be the target of anti-military groups and individuals. Recruiting stations, National Guard armories, and Reserve Centers have no armed guards which makes them vulnerable targets.

New York City military facilities have been targeted in the past - i.e. the March 6, 2008 bombing of the Times Square Recruiting Station.

Police identified the alleged attacker as Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, 23, an Islamic convert. He is being charged with first-degree murder as well as 15 counts of perpetrating terrorism.

The investigation into this latest attack is being characterized as ongoing by police.

PRESIDENT OBAMA NEED TO TALK

PRESIDENT OBAMA NEED TO TALK TO AMERICAN black converts instead of JUST going to the Islamic world. THE RACE WAR HAS BEGUN AND BLACKS WILL SUFFER THE MOST. He said in his speech that Muslim's income in america is greater than americans. However, he forgot, that Americans dont kill them and prevent them from making their living. Most Americans are not Muslim, but we dont really care, yet. We are tired of reaching out to a snake.hy cat Muslims reach out to us for a change. We didnt attach them, they have attached everyone since Mo made Islam.

Obama made a big mistake by saying the morality compass is not accomplished by war. Allah said kill and terrorize and kill all who refuse Islam. Now if the Muslims stop doing that they have lost their religion. They disobey allah and his one prophet Mo. How can they move on up when Islam keeps them so far backwards.

Does Obama even know a rat's sh!t about foreign policy? Egypt is one of the most repressive regimes in the world, and yet he's going there to bridge the East-West divide?

What an utter disgrace. If he was really serious about Islam, he'd call on Mubarrak's government to step down and let the Egyptian people elect another government.

We Americans are being

We Americans are being attacked by Muslims from outside and inside. When are American politicians going to realize that it is the goal of Islam to end liberal governments and is not just the radical Muslims. It is all Muslims.

anti-Jihad, If the

anti-Jihad,

If the Egyptians were to elect a government in free democratic elections, me thinks they would elect ikhwan, (YUK!) the goddamned muslim brudderhood--the real mafia of muhammadans.

Barack Obama has no problem talking about the death of an abortion doctor, but has said nothing about the arrest of the four Jihadists in New York and Arkansas.

#4: No it's not the Muslim

#4: No it's not the Muslim problem f*ck them they make up less than 1% of the population in your country. The real problem is the conspiracy NWO theorists and the Palestine-Israel issue, that is what's given them the ammunition they need. The US has to disengage from the Middle East (that would also mean Israel) if the US could do that Islam would be gone overnight, there'd be no more of this oil-thieving and occupation bullsh!t.

#5: Ha, yeah but really that's the whole point to show their hypocrisy. On the one hand they squeal about how detrimental America's involvement has been in the Middle East to their social welfare, but when given the choice of actually doing something about it (like toppling their government) they prefer to do nothing.
