There is nothing incredible here. This man's goal is to weaken the Judeo-Christian bases of America and make Islam dominant. This is what he said in his book. He said he would stand with Muslims. This man may not be a Muslim but he hates America and finds in Muslims his natural allies.

Obama knows very well that Jihad and zakat are linked. He grew up as a Muslim. No one should be surprised. I warned of this man and his evil plans a year ago.

Sharia compliant banking started in the Middle East especially in Kuwait about twenty years ago. Malayasia was the Pioneered the Global launch of Sharia Banking. Ministry of Awqaf or Ministry of Islamic Affairs overlooks every aspect of muslim jurisprudence including Islamic financing. All Arab and muslim countries have Ministry of Awqaf. OIC (Organization of Islamic Countries) which number 56 countries use this minintry to deal with the non-muslim world. It is the ministry of Awqaf which decides to use the money from zaqat and donor contributions for the promotion of Sharia financing. This is where black list of Anti-jewish companies are targetted and their goods and services are boycotted. This where Economic Jihad takes birth and the seeds of Sharia compliant instruments and financing have been planted in Westen Banks starting with Citibank and othe major banks around the world. Their goal is to destroy Capitalism by taking over the World banks through Sharia banking. As far as charging no interest which is considered 'Haram' or sinful is a total smoke screen or eye wash. When one looks at how one gets qualified in Sharia financing one truly finds themselves at the mercy of Imams as the board of directors who decide the fate of the client. What people do not realize is that Sharia finance charges for potential profit of any service at current market price and adds that sum to the total that borrower is being loaned. The only difference is the borrower is not able to pay the bank looses its principle but borrower has to declare bankcruptcy. This my short version of my explanation of Islamci Financing.

Zakat was once thought to be a form of jizya but on Muslims. This was the Muslims explanation in the 800s for the Ridda wars. The article above also states that zakat and jihad are tied together since the zakat money is what funds jihad, so Obama wants to fund jihad and destroy America and the Western world.

Kindly post more articles on the trap that Sharia financing is that a common person can understand. Also, what Islamic religious texts say about it, its purpose, etc. Islamic banking will be starting in India in Kerala by 2010. After I read about this, I started searching for Sharia financing on the internet but could not find articles explaining its negative aspects clearly, though I could find a lot of articles supporting it.

Obama needs a real course of education on Islam. Maybe the knowledgeable writers of this website can start to enlighten him.
He has the typical multiculturalist's belief that we should all just get along.
There is only one way to get along with moderate Islam and that was explained well in Greg Mortenson's book "Three cups of tea". Build these countries schools, not religious schools. Build them roads to improve their communications.
Take a leaf out of Thailands mountain tribes program which taught the Thai Golden Triangle tribes to grow cash crops (coffee, flowers, etc.) instead of opium.
Use common sense not expensive weaponry. That only works if you have a preponderance of weapons, a clear field of fire and a finite enemy.
The amount of money the USA will spend in the next 10 years fighting in Afghanistan could build a lot of schools, roads, etc. and achieve far more than fighting mujahideen who will breed faster than they can be killed.
