All those pakoras, samosas, chat, fruit chat, dahi baras, followed by biryani & gulab jamuns. I love going for "iftar" parties. Now that I'm deemed an apostate, I am not being invited as much.

Some “stupid” questions for Muslims.

(NB to readers: To Muslim apologists, questions which they cannot answer are always “stupid” and people who ask such questions are also “stupid”. It is NEVER they who are stupid, although they are the ones who blindly believe such fairy tales unthinkingly.)

Muslim apologists always claim that one of the chief benefits of fasting is to teach us all compassion for the poor. People can then experience for themselves what it feels like to go hungry. They further say that if through ill-health one is unable to fast, one should feed the hungry. This sounds very noble doesn't it? Many Muslims and even naïve dhimmis also believe this.

Can any of these apologists then tell us why the poor, who involuntarily starve 24 hours every day of the year and not just for one month only during the day time, must also fast? Why are the wretched poor not exempted from fasting when they already KNOW from personal experience what it is like to experience real hunger? When it is time at sunset to break the fast, the rich can gorge on all sorts of luxuries. The poor Muslim and his family look at their empty bowls instead and console themselves with Allah’s heavenly promises that he will more than make up for their hunger in his pie-in-the-sky heaven by doubling their rewards. In the meantime they must just live on hope and patience and feed their souls on fresh air. If they are lucky they survive on the charity of more compassionate fellow Muslims and not their Allah.

Now what is even worse is that if the poor person falls ill and is unable to fast, he is in even bigger trouble with his Allah because he cannot afford to feed another poor hungry person, let alone himself and his own family. Why the triple punishment for him? Does Allah hate the poor and love the rich? How is this justice? Why does Allah himself show no compassion for the poor? If he really cared for them he could have showered manna from heaven on them during this Ramadan month, but he doesn’t because either he just doesn’t care or can’t do it. The God of the Jews did it for them in the Sinai Desert as per their Bible, so why doesn’t Allah? Doesn’t this prove that he is just the imaginary invention of the bogus prophet Muhammad? Instead what we have is only the not-so-rich feeding the poor. The very rich could not care less because they know Allah himself does not care for the poor because if he did he would not have created poverty in the first place.

We are even told by Muslims that fasting teaches them self-control. Wow- can anyone believe this nonsense when he sees them gorging themselves and having orgies with their multiple wives all night. Self-control indeed!

What is even dumber is that Allah only tests the faith of the poor but never the rich. The rich person can even sleep the whole day so as to not feel the fast, whilst the poor must toil in the blazing sun. Instead the poor are fed soothing lullabies from Allah such as (Q4:32):“And wish not for the things in which Allah has made some of you to excel others. For men and women there is reward for what they have earned and ask Allah of His Bounty. Surely Allah is Ever All-Knower of everything”. Yeah, right – tell that to the starving Somalis and Bengalis who perish in their thousands every year during frequent famines when Allah goes blind and deaf.

Another example of injustice in Islam is the pilgrimage to Mecca if one can afford it. Why are the rich people getting all these additional blessings from Allah and the poor being discriminated against? The rich person can commit all sorts of sins, go to Mecca to be cleansed of them and repeat the cycle every year. The poor person can’t afford to do this to have his sins cleansed, let alone afford to sin in the first place. How very lucky for him!

How does this square with the Quran (3:108) “Allah willeth no injustice to His slaves.” Instead we are told that for the poor he made Fridays as holy as the pilgrimage. Allah even says in the Hadiths, "AL JUM"ATHU HAJJUL FUQARA'I WAL MASAKEEN" which means “the Friday's Jumma Prayer is the Hajj for all the poor and weak.” What a joke! “Hajee” is the noble title bestowed on Muslims who have been to Mecca. They are showered with honors and added prestige among their communities and even put a big sign on their front doors of their homes with the title “Hajee”. Strange isn’t it that we never hear of the poor being called Hajees and showered with praise. Instead they are showered with contempt.

Apologists also claim a whole lot of other dubious health benefits of fasting. Why then do so many more fasting Muslims die during this month than at any other time of the year when they are not fasting? The opposite should be the rule but it is not. Some of the more brain-dead Muslims even laughably claim that this is because Allah has truly blessed them when they die in this holy month. Can normal people be so stupid or is it only Muslims who refuse to think for themselves? Why is their Allah so unfair to Muslims when they so blindly and slavishly follow his illogical commands? Instead we are told it is Allah’s will. Duh!

The reality is that Ramadan is really the month of feasting and not fasting. By the market law of supply and demand in economics, food prices should fall during Ramadan because Muslims are fasting and supposedly eating less. Instead food prices rocket because of increased demand. The rich food merchants get richer and the poor get poorer. Instead of Muslims losing weight, they gain weight and call this fasting. They then have the nerve to call us ignorant for pointing out these facts.

Most people in the heartland of the evil islam IE sodi barbaria gain 4-6 kilograms during the ramadan month! So much for the fasting skunks trying to understand the plight of poor people. They start the day at 5 pm or so when the donkeys bray from the various mosques at the same time.This tends to be a short braying and moslems rush to break the fast and fart. Then the binging begins.This goes on through out the night till 500 am when the moslem pigs end the day with final meal and go off to sleep ( forget the braying) Some wake up and go to work at 1000 am or so and work till 1 pm and then go off leaving the kafirs to do the work.Then they will either fart around or sleep around and oh they control their carnal desires so well.Then wait for 5 pm braying and the whole thing startsagain.This is what the mad moslems do during the ramadan month in sodi barbaria.Most sodi asses gain weight and the main complaint of sodi men and women during the ramadan is how to stop farting during the braying hours.They are concerned about the braying being anulled due to farting.They do fart excessively and obnoxiously during ramadan due to binging in high fat food.These moslems are sick animals. Any one who has satyed amongst moslems during ramadan will have to carry lot of perfumes.Most moslems stink during ramadan

My Response: "Muslim petrol"? Now this truly is a priceless joke! When did the Muslims invent petrol? The production of petrol from crude oil is a complicated chemical process that was invented by American and European Infidels in the mid 19th Century. All the crude oil in the Middle East would have remained just as worthless as their desert sands if not for the Americans and Europeans who knew what to do with it. My response: Another priceless joke! The average productivity in America and of Americans is so high during the rest of the year because of their hard work, that when they have their year-end break it more than makes up for it. Unlike in the average Muslim countries where their average productivity is so low that in Ramadan it falls to zero.

you give a lot of facts in your article about the prices of foods and food sales etc during Ramzan/Ramadan.
On what statistics or evidence is that based? (Please understand - I'm not claiming you are wrong, I'm just interested in the sources.)

I do know, from opersonal experience, that in Ramadan alrge meals are certainly prepared for the end and beginning of the fast-period, but I did not realise the impact was as great as you state.

Quite true - but it's not forbidden either and that gives (some) Muslims a way to obey the letter of the rule whilst breaking the spirit.

First let me say that an awful lot of the contributors here, both muslim, ex-muslim and non-muslim have done that AND we have read teh hadith and Sirah as well.
Secondly: If you are informed about'mainstream' Islam you will know that 'mainstream' Islam itself does not \find the truth in Al-Qur’an\, it finds in in the Koran as INTERPRETED by Tafseer, Hadith and Sharia. So why ask us to do something that the mainstream of Islam does not?

KKK - you certainly have a point about the Western dependance on Arab oil, it is something that the west seems to be waking up to with the talk about \energy security\.

1) Ramadhan good. Some Muslims bad. Difficult to find fault with the concept of fasting.

2) Productivity down or up. Doesn't matter (materialism will always be there it is not a good yardstick to use to judge morals or religious beliefs). Cannot leave fast (unless mortally harmful to human - as life comes first).

3) Shafee Al Zindig preaching to the converted but did not answer a fellow posters question on the use of oil from Muslim countries and the reliance on it therewith. Question was not whether Muslims invented the expertise to convert crude oil into petroleum (which they can actually do, by the way).

We are both wrong I think. When we saw “Muslim petrol” we both erroneously thought what was meant was petrol invented by Muslims (me) or oil produced by Muslim countries (you).

Reading the comment again very carefully this time, I think what the KKK commenter meant was that petrol was a real Muslim. You know, as in talking and reciting the Shahada and bowing towards Mecca, just like the talking Muslim palm trees which bowed towards Muhammad and the talking Muslim stones who greeted him with “Peace be upon thee, o noble prophet” every time he wanted to take a dump. Each of the Muslim stones would plead with him to use it only to clean his bum. The compassionate prophet didn’t want to hurt any of the stones’ feelings and therefore always chose three at random. Seriously though, I believe non-Muslims can survive without oil, whether the oil is Muslim, non-Muslim, apostate or atheist. We have done so for millennia and can learn to do so again. Whether the Muslims can survive without oil revenue from Infidels is doubtful.

Another thing I do know for sure is that when the Infidels eventually invent a substitute for oil, Muslims like you will crow and say gloatingly “It was in our Quran all along and the Infidels are only discovering this fact today.”

Muslim can absent from foods in ramadhan, but not disaster. Recently in my country there were earthquakes. This disasters have killed many people and destroyed many building (including mosques!!!) and forced many people into exile. Ramadhan, the month full of "joy" and "blessing". Keep repeating that words won't help them from calamity.

I say:

Yeah right. Christians and Jews do not party and stay up at all hours while fasting nor do they gorge themselves on food, get drunk, and exc.

Nor do Christians and Jews brag about how good they are at fasting.

Ironically, they starve themselves during the day for the poor - but they give their charity to jihadists. It seems if they were sincere about the poor - even if they refuse to give any of their charity to non-muslims - would be better spent buying food, and training them to do jobs, instead of starving themselves and then gorging themselves at night.

Anyway, we all know what Ramadan is about - and there is nothing about it for the poor. They are only telling idiot Westerners, who still chose ignorance of Islam, what they want to hear.

I wonder do they ever invite the poor to their Ramadan feasts or do they only fast during the day to make themselves look compassionate and righteous in front of others?

Most of the Muslim poor lives in poverty while oil money goes to Jihad. So where is the compassion here?

Besides I bet Muslims never even think of the poor while they are fasting. Only the feast that awaits them after the day is over.

Not all major religions, in Sikhism fasting is considered a pointless ritual.

I am a Muslim. I agree with you as you described above. I am living in Bangladesh. 85% of the total population are Muslim here. But, I dont want to say anything about these MUSLIM Peoples - I only say "may be the people of "AIAME JAHELIAT (years of ignorance)" were much more better than us.

Thanks for your good comment to my article. But you know what? You will be amazed to learn that you are absolutely right tabout he people in Arabia before Islam. These people wre really very civilized, democratic minded and highly tolerant people. Please consider, Muhammad openly crticized their religions but they never killed him or attacked him in his person. These people were so tolerant that they managed to keep 360 Gods of diffrent tribes in the same little cube of Kava yet they hardly had any fight between them. Does not it prove that pre-Islamic Arabs were highly tolerant and civilized? Mr. Mohammad Atique zaman, people before islam were religious tolerant. There were no religious wars at all. They maybe barbaric (normal because it's 7th century after all) but they would progress if islam hadn't interfered with their life. Look at any advanced nation (Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Canada or West Europe) , they have no religious or dictator element and they are the most peaceful and proper nations. Can you imagine what would happen to countries like Egypt, Persia, or Iraq IF islam unexisted?
