How can one recite his God's name before killing an innocent? I can happen only with insane people, who definitely are Muslims.

Muslims should do a lot of real soul-searching about Islam and honestly ask themselves this simple question:

What is it about Islam alone, as compared to so many other faiths, that makes its followers go out in a murderous rage wanting to kill people they do not even know and who have never done anything to them personally?

Could it be because they blindly believe Allah told them so? If they are correct, then Islam truly turns its followers into mind-dead zombies incapable of thinking for themselves.

When one of the terrorists tells that his co-terrorist is sick, the boss calls back after half-an-hour and persuades the guy to kill the hostages immediately and then there are gunshot sounds. 26/11 attack has opened up a pandora's box for Indians. The security situation in India is so bad that a bunch of jerks from Pakistan can easily eneter India and kill people like that. The reality of India's security mechanism was exposed by this attack.
What I found strange was that rather than be critical of the situation, a former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Antulay ( a muslim) went on to say this was the handy work of Jews and Hindus and his opinion was supported by many ulema. So basically India is a nation of eunuchs with the biggest eunuchs leading the country, who neither have the will nor the power to do anything about it.

Mumbai attack was a massive attack, but I have witnessed them doing same in kashmir, but at a smaller scale over the long period of time. As a matter of fact India and Hindus have suffered since the very moment islam established as a cult.

One simple solution is let all infidel countries make a strategic reserve system , where purified oil for 5 years can be kept, bribe the current muslim despots, purchase that much oil and keep it there. Then after few months declare that Islam is evil and start teaching all students from 4th or 5th standard onwards about the evils , massacres, killings of Islam. Make standard copies of books from Ibn warraq, Ali Sina etc and make these compulsory teachings. Those muslims who have problems can go away anywhere.
Islam has to be declared as criminal ideology in western world first. The time has come to make a grand grouping of countries who will tell the truth of islam and start eradicating islam from there countries first.

This is truly political Islam in action. Condemnable. Terrorism has no justification. Those who justify and find reasons or sympathies with these terrorists are the ones who face the fire of these fundamentalists at some point of time. I do not view this as anything to do with Islam. These are crackpots who believe in political Islam. The authors of this website fail to see the difference between a religion and the harmful effects of politics on a religion. However I do agree that Muslims are not doing enough to tame these fundamentalists rather there is a disturbing but which seeks justification.

Please remember that an attitude of victimisation or anger eventually leads you to terrorism. And authors here want to portray people that rest of the world is victim of Islam. Interesting to hear your opinion. I myself am an ex-Muslim and disagree with much of your analysis.

The primary, fundamental motivation of these terrorist was theological. Islamic theology to be precise. The actions of these men were grounded in and justified by the canonical Islamic texts and traditional teachings of Islam. It is sad to see that you fail to see the reality of your religion in totality. Though a thorough critical examination of Islam may be hard to come by living in Pakistan, there are many excellent resources available on the net for such a study. Since you are here, a good place to start would be the 'back files' of FFI. In my opinion Islam is not a spiritual path that any person of integrity should take in the year 2000 and 9. It is ISLAM that is rotten to the core. It always has been. People have just had to try and make the most of and improve this fraud that was thrust upon them long ago. Tragic. Its a good step that you can come to this website and see many features of Islam. You should know that the source or the fountainhead of terrorism is Quran . It would be difficult for you to grasp the thing quickly as for a muslim he has been so much indoctrinated that he can question anything except Muhammed. People like Osama are true muslims (100 % pure muslims), while guys like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan are 4-5 % muslims. They have muslim names, just pray sometime or go to mosques once or twice that's it.
Infact my some muslim colleagues have hardly understood quran fully, thus they are puzzled what is these terrorist lunatics. Good to see you after a long time. I don't remember if you are the guy from Pakistan or the Indian fellow. Either ways, there is no such thing as political Islam. Islam is a complete package which includes politics, warfare, relations, so on and so forth.
Moreover you theory that victimization leads to terrorism is extremely flawed. There are many communities who have been victimized in the past, not all of them take to terrorism. Islam is the only belief system which legitimizes using terrorism as a tool to subdue your enemy, whether real of imagined.
Jews are the best example, followed by the Hindus of people who have been victimized by both Muslims as well as Christians at different times. However you don't see a Jew going and blowing up a day care center or killing others. Of course you will say that they are killing Palestinians, but given the present conditions they don't have another way out.

Saleem, I keep coming on this website occassionally not to leave Islam but to remind gently that there are radicals in all religions. Unfortunately radicals in Islam are abundant who can be easily shown the wrong door. Yes, I generally avoid debates and occassionally leave my view point because I do not want useless squabbles. My forefathers were hindus at some point in history and I have nothing against them. I have met Indians and hindus. They are very fine people.

I know that there are certain verses which are used by fundamentalists in Islam for the wrong cause. The moderates unfortunately are eye washing the concerned people by pointing faults in other religions. This is not helping. For the first time however many pakistanis are feeling the pinch of political Islam and for the first time they can understand that what happens when terrorism is justified for wrong means. Agreed. There are fundamentalists in every religion. But what if the religion is itself is "fundamentalist" in nature..

There are two kinds of fanaticism. One is professed by a small section of overzealous idiots from a particular group. This is quite normal throughout the history. It won't go beyond certain proportion and those fanatics will be detested by other members of the group..

The second kind is due to the ideology professed by the group. Here majority of the members of the group are fanatical because of the ideology they profess.
Take the example of political system. Many political ideas were developed and flourished in the last century , but we cannot equate the fanaticism and crimes of Nazism and fascism with other ideas. right?

I guess I got angry after watching this video. And I just read where the Hilton hotel is hosting a group of known terrorists in a conference. I think that all hotels should think twice about catering to this sort of ilk - their lobbies and guests could be next on the list to be shot up.
