May I say I think what Ali Sina is doing is ground-breaking. Finally a human being with some common sense!
I admire him for what he is trying to accomplish. If more people took a step back and looked at the bigger picture maybe we could have peace in the world.
As my pen name states, I am ex-forces and have seen so much horror committed by mankind .
For years, I have had many friends, both Muslim and not, but in some cases many are not happy. When I was younger, I had a friend who was a Muslim girl, and she was telling me that she had been forced in to an arranged marriage at a young age. Her husband beat her, and with other things he had done, he ended up in prison. She also said that she wished she could get out but was terrified what would happen.
If you look at all religions, it would seem that throughout history, men have always changed things to suit their own ends, including the Christian faith and Islam as well. First, people believed the roman empire fell. Not so, Rome is still one of the biggest power bases in the world raking in billions each year, and Islam is the same.
Both sides are bloody hypocrites. You can see it every were if you stop and look, with the Christian faith you see some brain-washed idiots claiming they are right, and everyone else is wrong, and they judge people on how they look. Muslims are the same; you see them saying that is wrong you can't sleep with someone unless you are married, but you see young Muslim men chasing young British girls and getting them pregnant. You see them drinking also. So they talk about hypocritical crap, but they guard Muslim women like they are gold and treat them like dirt.
I think that all the religions of the world have been exploited for some people's gain. In every religion, if you look hard enough, there is one common truth which has been forgotten, the golden rule: treat every other human being as you want to be treated. Also, God made man in his own image.
There has been more genocide and wars over religion than any other cause on this planet. If we could get rid of all the religious dogma and bullxxxx, it becomes possible that we could learn to respect each other and have peace in the world. But no, it is all down to power greed, and having your cake and eating it too. When will mankind learn from past mistakes? So, I praise Ali Sina for stepping out of the box and looking around. Keep up the good work.

As always, I am very curious as to what the average citizen in the UK, or any other part of Europe, really thinks about islam. I frequently read an online UK news source, and its blog site. However, I don't often get a sense of what the majority of citizens think about this religion. Sometimes I get a feeling that they might be afraid to say anything. Are internet conversations, or any other conversations monitored and/or sensored?
Here in the States, we really don't have much of the kind of baggage that would bring people to rail against Christianity, as it never was a true political entity such as it was in Europe. That has been very good for Christianity, as it creates a climate of direct accountability to the people, who can read the scriptures for themselves.
Here in the States, the lefties are frankly hopeless. They couldn't/wouldn't acknowlege a real danger if it chewed half their butt off. It simply doesn't fit into their fantasy world view. I assume that is the case in Europe as well. Do the majority of citizens there buy into the wacko left PC nonsense, or do they reject it?
I'm curious.

Great post and 100% correct. If the people of this planet all finally figure out how they have been used for the gain of evil men posing as the 'voices' of some god and we stop the divisions caused by doctrines and dogmas, then we will all be free and this planet will truly be ours. How could we have ever been convinced war was needed without such religious divisions? Look back at true history and you will find religion and war are inseparable. Isn't it funny how these gods can only speak to certain people and the rest of us are to follow them on complete blind faith. I was born into christianity but hated the cruelty the bible is filled with. I am free today and if such a horrible god did exist, I would not serve such a bloodthirsty creature.
Why do we all continue to allow evil leaders, both political and religious, to use us as mindless sheep? People are also to blame for this non-sense for not taking time to actually study and think about what they are being led to believe and do in the names of these mongrel 'gods'. We need a worldwide awakening and realization we are our own worst enemy when we trust hucksters who only care about riches and don't give a damn about the ordinary people.
