If Pakistan is now paying a steep price for its duplicitous policy of using violent Islamism to further its strategic interests in Afghanistan and bleed India through a ‘thousand cuts’, we too shall pay a price for following a line of least resistance and legitimising appeasement by grafting what the Prime Minister described as “Muslims first” to the policies of an allegedly secular state. There are other similarities which make India as vulnerable as Pakistan to the scourge of Taliban. For all its emphasis on subjugating the country to the supremacy of Islam, of being one with the ummah, and its repeated proclamation of the equality of Muslims, Pakistan has abysmally failed to deliver good governance. Elected Prime Ministers and military dictators have equally fleeced the country, pushed the masses deeper into poverty, made a mockery of the judicial system, and maintained a dissolute elite’s hegemony over Pakistan’s politics, economy and society. Islamism was once a useful means to distract the masses and silence critics. Islamism now has become a powerful tool to mobilise the masses against the elite. Real grievances and imagined victimhood have coalesced to create a fetid swamp that breeds the deadliest of germs, of which the Taliban is a particularly venomous species. Cut to India. Bad Xtians were removed from the congregation, not even allowed to eat with them until they repented. Now is dead you cannot repent! Even the people who died during the Flood will be resurrected. Jesus is not God. When Jesus was about to die, he said I am going to my Father and your father and my God and your God (John 20:17) This proves that Jesus prayed to the same god. Jesus always said "MY GOD" meaning he had a GOD and was not THE GOD.

Jesus said that only the Father knew when the end was coming Mark 13:32. Now if Jesus was GOD he would know when the end was coming. John 12:49 says The Father sent him and he came to do what the Father said do. JESUS IS NOT GOD!

Digest this carefully, you seem to be overlooking.

Jesus’ boldest statement11 as to his divine identity is in John 8:56–59. Jesus made it during one of the many confrontations he had with the Jewish leaders of his day. It also contains two implicit claims:

'Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.' 'You are not yet fifty years old,' the Jews said to him, 'and you have seen Abraham!' 'I tell you the truth,' Jesus answered, 'before Abraham was born, I am!' At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

Permit me to make some observations on this short account.

1) Jesus starts with the well known formula, 'I tell you the truth' or a more literal and precise translation, 'Truly, truly I say to you' (or as the AV puts it, 'Verily, verily I say unto you'). Jesus uniquely used this phrase to introduce his teaching instead of 'Thus says the Lord…' He did it to show he was claiming an authority greater than any other biblical prophets.12 No other Hebrew prophet, or scribe, or religious leader had ever spoken with that kind of personal authority. This is one reason why people were so amazed at his teaching. He was claiming not only divine inspiration, like a prophet would, but also divine authority and the power of direct divine speech!13 This is a strong implicit claim to deity.

2) Jesus asserts that he didn’t just live before Abraham, but that he is eternal. He didn’t say 'I was' but I AM.14 He lives in the eternal present tense. Jesus drew a contrast between himself and Abraham - the created vs. the uncreated, the temporal vs. the eternal.15 The attribute of eternity in this sense is an attribute of God only. This is an even stronger implicit claim to deity. This is also what separates the Bible’s view of Jesus from those of groups like the Arians, the Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Islam, as mentioned earlier.

3) By calling himself, I AM, Jesus was claiming for himself the personal name of Israel’s God, Yahweh. This is the name God used when he revealed himself to Moses at the burning bush. Consider Exodus 3:14:16

God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM. That is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’'

The problem with the holy books is ambiguity, the possibility of assigning any meaning to most statements in the books, yet, some statements are so straight and literal that it leaves one with only one interpretation as the above verse that contains "I AM" to assign any different meaning, will be a wishful interpretation.

Another problem with the holy books is the nature of human writing, especially writers of the ancient times who could not be consistent with their writing, this is why both Islam and Christiany's followers are confused and follow different thoughts.

I believe any honest person following Christianity must have known that there is a serious goof as to which land the other brother went and got a wife after killing his brother, they were supposed to be the only people in the beginning of the world. Apart from their parents Adam and Eve, which other people existed and in which land? all these and many more asininities are there but a Christian is an over emotional being, he/she is not based on truth for truth's sake, rather on any make believe so-called truth that will take him to the imaginary heaven, especially considering the early age instilled fear of hell that he/she could not get out of his concience.

When it was said I have seen god's face, it was entirely from the brightness and the appearance of GOD. The Bible also speaks of God's arm, Ex. 6:6, God's eyes and ears Ps. 34:15. Now where was the face. God is a spirit and no man can see the wind. We feel it.

While you are at it, make sense out of this glaring contradiction:

ISA 14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

DEU 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

NT is for Christians, good, bad and ugly. 42 Jews wrote the 66 books of the bible.
