Iran regime battles new mass protests

TEHRAN — Iranian opposition supporters fought running battles with riot police and hardliners on Friday as tens of thousands mounted the first protest in two months against the re-election of hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Protesters defied dire warnings from top officials against demonstrating during the annual mass display of solidarity with the Palestinians that is one of the setpieces of the Islamic regime.

Exposing suppressive regimes

Exposing suppressive regimes is a desire to get protesters bombed !

If so, even for the sake of argument, the next step of the regime will be to shoot all protesters.

Will the argument hold?


I can understand why Ali Sina

I can understand why Ali Sina and Atheist Kurds want the regime and the revolutionary guards bombed, but I think it is better to go for a peaceful revolution.
