An Interview with Ali Sina

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionSend to friendSend to friendPDF versionPDF versionBy Gary Dale Cearley One of the most outspoken critics of Islam around the world these days is a Canadian man, Ali Sina, who is formerly a Muslim himself.  He runs the Faith Freedom International movement.  Ali Sina has some highly controversial positions concerning Islam and American president Barack Obama as well and he has recently come out with a book, Understanding Muhammad, which continues to stir things up.  I found this man to be extremely provacative as well as interesting so I asked him for an interview so that he could share his own insight as to what Islam is at base and what is going on in the world today.  The communication flowed as follows… Gary Dale Cearley: Could you let us know a little about yourself and your background? Hi friends I understand from

Hi friends

I understand from the interview of Ali Sina with Gary Dale ‎Cearley – Author and Columnist; Ali Sina might have had ‎some grievances with the Shia denomination of Iran. He must ‎have, logically, no grievances with Quran as the thoughts ‎he ascribes to Islam on his website are not supported by ‎Quran, the first and foremost source of guidance of Islam ‎and also about the life of Muhammad.‎

Ali Sina’s intentions are also clear from the fact that he ‎did not find any other religion where he could get refuge, ‎from the time he left Islam. He seems to be a soul wandering ‎about in confusion. He has found, in my opinion, in ‎opposing Islam perhaps a platform for making money/fame. ‎Others who also don’t have any indepth study of ‎Quran/Islam/Muhammad have also joined him.‎
It is a futile activity and does not help peace or humanity ‎in any way, in my opinion. I don’t mind; it is his own free ‎act. ‎

Terrorism is an act of the individuals or groups and is not ‎supported by Quran/Islam/Muhammad. It is the same thing as ‎the persons who dropped bombs at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, ‎they might be Christians and hence one blames Christianity ‎or if they were Atheists one blames Atheism.‎

All human beings are just like a family; everyone must be ‎loved and not hated.‎

Thanks

I am an Ahmadi peaceful Muslim

Hi, Paarsurrey, I am a

Hi, Paarsurrey, I am a Darwinist or Freethinker, and these are not wandering lost souls, but people who try to think logically. We think it is people like you who fail to give evidence, real reasonable arguments for your claims of truth for religion. Please consider also that only one faith can be true, all others must of necessity not be true. So in my opinion it is you who is on shaky ground.

You have no proof that Ali Sina has ulterior motives, other than the ones he tells us, in great detail, with great passion. YOU might as well be a well-paid apologist, propagandist for the other side. If you resent that, then do not make unsubstantiated accusations.

As for knowledge of Islam on FFI and other websites, in other non-Muslim-people and organisations; Daily we notice how much ex-Muslims and non-Muslims and Western Islamologists know about Islam. They seem to know the whole structure, every surah in the Quran, every Hadith-collection, every argument. You better prepare for high-level-experts. Muslims can rely on ignorance in Democratic societies ever less.

You say it is not in the interest of peace what Ali Sina does. But I think it is very much so. You see, Muslims are now being held accountable, forced to defend Islam, they are very much stimulated to think. And when they become ex-Muslims, they form warm, peaceful alliances with Western Democratic people.

Muslims who want to stay Muslims, can also consider to form more and more reasonable alliances with reasonable Western and Hindu Democratic people. Against Theocratic people, whose ultimate goal is domination, oppression if not forced conversion. So Ali Sina and company are really fighting for freedom, which really is only a reaction to the ambitions of aggressive oppressors among the Muslims. As we know what they have shown in the countries where they have a majority and through terrorist acts elsewhere.

There is always this claim of Muslims; do not blame Islam for what Muslims do. Otherwise we can just as well blame Christianity for what Christians do or Atheism for what Atheists do etc. But in FFI it is always carefully shown that often Muslims act according to Islamic teachings and say as much, whereas Christian and Atheist perpetrators of foul acts are completely silent about motivation by faith.

Furthermore, I counter this exoneration of Islam of motivating bad behavior, by questioning if it ueberhaupt then motivates anything? Does Islam motivate good behavior if it does not motivate bad behavior? Or can we also say that what Muslims ever do in good behavior is not due to Islam too? And all the good behavior of Muslims is also done by believers of all other faiths? And also by Freethinkers, Darwinists, Atheists? Isn't following the Golden Rule enough?!

We already have challenged the extraordinary claims to the truth of Islam. And now we also challenge the assertion that Islam makes any difference for the positive anywhere. And we mean something other beliefs do not have also. That Islam is in effect superfluous, useless. so why cling to it? Thus, if you keep discounting all calls for accountability for bad influence of Islamic texts, We can counter to challenge you to consistently provide the world with reasons why Islam would be ANY BETTER than any other religion or belief. Or be very humble about Islam.

paasurrey (the ahmadi kafir),

Read my response to you about japan vs USA in another article before you poped out in here. Don't repeat something that is so boring. By the way where are my answers about slavery and child marriage?
