R_Not throughout the 1980's there were reports of the ethnic albanian Muslims targeting persecuting and killing the Christian Serbs. Also the Kosovo Liberation Army was labeled an terrorist organization by the U.S. government and the KLA has ties to Al-qaida. I don't know for sure but it looks like Milosevic was trying to stop the Muslims from terrorizing the people and that's might be the reason why Kosovo lost it's autonomy and why the situation got so out of control. In fact the Muslims did not start to complain about Milosevic until after he took control of the reason.

Kosovo was once part of the Ottomen empire and the empire is known for it's persecution of the Christian populace under the empire. Also many of the ethnic Albanians in the region are descendents of immigrants and are recent immigrants from Albania, another country that persecutes Christians.

Some people in the international community criticized Clinton for sending in NATO forces. Also some of the soldiers who were involved in the operation have come forward stating the accusations made against the Serbs are false. In fact Serbia was acquitted of all charges.

Throughout the years I have heard ad nauseum about the Inquisition, as if it was THE history of christianity, even though in reality it was only a very small part of 2000 years of church history. It has always been very easy to point out that barbaric behavior toward others is in direct conflict with the Christian scriptures. That very legitimate point is usually shouted down by marxist types who screech nonstop, like spoiled children, to force the acceptance of their own assertions against Christian history.
I have, however, often wondered what impact the 800 years of muslim rule over the southern 2/3s of the Iberian peninsula (Spain and Portugal) had on the local population. The muslims were eventually kicked out by the northern Spaniards and Basques, and right after that came the infamous Inquisition to rid Spain of middleasterners. Did they learn a few techniques from their former muslim overlords? Were they doing unto the muslims what was done to them? It's a good question, I think.
Unfortunately, they did not differentiate between muslim or Jew, they just wanted them all out or at least to be in such a social position that they could never pose any threat to the indigenous people. What I see is a commonality of thought and practice between marxism and islam, who both have used brute violence to silence those who either question them, or who expose their lies.
