"I don't know why people are surprised that France won't help us get Saddam out of Iraq. After all, France wouldn't help us get the Germans out of France!" --Jay Leno
When one mentions the country France, what instantly pop into the mind are its fabulous wine and cheese and a taste for romance. But that’s not all she is known for. France is also known for capitulating to the enemy in times of crises. France has never been a reliable partner, the sort of Western country you can count on in time of need. Even though France has been part of NATO, she has deviated from the pact on numerous occasions. France habitually has been unpredictable, unreliable and at times, very unethical.
In WWI 1914-1918, the German army pounded the French - without the rescue mission of Uncle Sam, French people would be speaking German now. The sore-winner imposed a very harsh
“Treaty of Versailles” to 'punish' the Germans, only resulting in the rise of an unknown Austrian “thug” by the name of Hitler.
In WWII, Germany bullied France into letting them take more territory – France did not even fight - they adopted a policy of 'appeasement'. In 1940,
France surrenders before Germany. It took the allied forces again to liberate France from the occupation of the Nazis in what is known as
“D-Day.”
Former president of France, Jacques Chirac, was a close friend of Saddam Hussein for thirty years or so. Chirac allowed the sale of nuclear facilities to Iraq that were destroyed just in time by Israel before Saddam could use it against the Iranians or the Israelis. He sold Iraq the planes that been used to gas thousands of Kurds as well as Iranian soldiers.
France’s sense of anti-Semitism is not a secret. Even during Sarkozi’s government, French Jews have no sense of physical safety. Jews still get mugged, simply for being Jews. Almost nobody pays attention to it. The Jews are not the only victims of France's identification with radical Islam. In many French cities with a growing radical Islamist population, no teenage girl can go out in the evening, at least not without an Islamic
hejab. If she does, it translates to: "she is for everybody."
There are about seven million Muslims living in France, at least fifteen per cent of them are radical Islamists poised on the edge of violence. And these radical Muslims have allies on both ends of the Left and the Right. France should not be considered a Western country any longer; it is now the leader of the Arab-Muslim world. France is an Islamist country and whether one agrees or not, her actions speak louder than any words.
France stood up against the United States and other allies, protesting liberating Iraq from the hands of one of the twentieth century’s bloodthirsty dictators, Saddam Hussein. It is especially ironic for a country that was liberated twice by the Americans; one would think they would understand the value of freedom and liberty. Siding with Saddam was unconscionable. Well, that’s why France is France.
Hilmi Dawood, a Kurdish journalist, both a French-speaker and a Francophile, is also harshly critical. “I was utterly shocked by France’s opposition to the war because, even if nobody likes Bush, either in Europe or Iraq, the essential thing was to liberate us from Saddam,” she said. “I could not understand France’s position. Not to mention the aftermath of the war when Iraqis need help in the face of security concerns and misery, and France is nowhere to be seen.”
By now, everyone in the world knows that Iran’s last month presidential election was rigged. (Let’s keep in mind Iran does not have a free election). However, after a fiery month-long campaign and unprecedented passions and tensions, the mass rallies, polished campaign slogans, savvy Internet outreach and worldwide televised debates, which revealed rampant corruption, ineptitude, and illegal and criminal activities of all four candidates, on June 12, 2009, 45 million Iranians went to the polls, challenging not only the incumbent president, Ahmadinejad, but the entire establishment of the Islamic regime. Mr. Mousavi overwhelmingly won the election, but the supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, declared his boy, Ahmadinejad, the winner.
Millions of Iranians, (both by their votes and in the streets) loud and clear have declared the Islamic Republic is illegitimate. In return, Ali Khamenei, the self-styled, supreme leader and representative of “Allah” on earth, said that he would crush anyone who rises against his chosen candidate, the psychopathic killer, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, also known as “the Monkey” by the Iranians.
The life that God gives, no man should extinguish. The illegitimate government of “Allah,” presently ruling Iran, blatantly violates this sacred covenant and has been shooting at a large number of peaceful demonstrators who are demanding nothing more than their God-given right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
People who went to get their sons, and daughters’
bodies observed hundreds of dead bodies of the demonstrators in a morgue, (who were missing for 30 days) in the southern part of Tehran. At least 6000 protesters have been wounded. The mullahs and their mercenaries are wasting precious human life to maintain themselves in power through terrorizing the population.
Millions of Iranians have warned the world not to recognize the illegitimate handpicked puppet, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, as Iran’s president. They have called upon the free governments of the world, as well as all other businesses, organizations and individuals to enlist in a non-violent campaign of
ending the reign of terror of the belligerent clerical regime in Iran. They want the world to declare and treat the clerical regime as illegitimate. Keep in mind that revolution has not stopped in Iran. It has been persisted for the past 35 days, and it will not be stopped until there is a free election.
In 1978, the French government betrayed the Iranian people by allowing the Ayatollah Khomeini to relocate to France. As protests against the Shah of Iran swept across Iran, Ayatollah Khomeini was living in a cozy house in the Parisian suburb of Neauphle-le-Chateau, engineering an Islamic revolution that would soon shake the world. Under the watchful eye of the French government, Khomeini met regularly with journalists and actively campaigned for the shah’s overthrow. He distributed cassettes to Iran inciting against democracy, peace in the Middle East, the Jews and Israelis. In fact, when Pahlavi finally fled his country in 1979, Khomeini was provided with a chartered Air France flight to Tehran, where he presided over one of the world’s most repressive regimes until his death in 1989.
Once again, the ever-conniving French government today announced that it recognizes
Ahmadinejad’s re-election. France’s FM, Kouchner said, “Since Ahmadinejad has been proclaimed president, it would be ‘useless and counterproductive’ for France alone to reject this,” reports AFP.
The Iranian people strongly condemn France’s position on surrendering to Islamofascists in Iran who are holding peaceful Iranians as hostage. This is clearly against all norms of human dignity. With this recognition, there comes a price. It would perhaps make France an accessory to the crimes committed by the murderous mullahs in Iran. They will be facing a severe
boycotting on all French products by the Iranians, inside and outside the country, and hopefully by all decent human beings whose hearts were broken by the assassination of
Neda, by the instruments of the supreme Islamic leader, Ali Khamenei.

The only confusion I have is
The only confusion I have is that France is the only country in Europe to actually ban the burqa, so I'm finding it hard to see them as an Islamic country. Britain has recently been a safe haven for some of the most disgusting Islamic extremists, banned in the middle east! i think Europe as a whole is sleep walking and unable to see past it's own post colonial guilt in not critisising this facist ideology.
Yaa . the Iranians might
Yaa . the Iranians might call Imadinnerjacket "The Monkey" but the rest of us call the French "Surrender Monkeys"
Strangely enough, it is the
Strangely enough, it is the Brits who are behaving more like the French (in the recent past). The various British councils, police forces and the government are displaying a wanton cowardice that has led to natural citizens being attacked by "asians" with no recourse to justice.
Even the media is so cowardly they will not report on Muslim aggression. The sense of outrage by the indigenous Brits means that the formerly despised BNP is now gaining followers at a colosal rate. Most of these followers are aghast at the lack of policing, the rate at which certain London boroughs are being abandoned to Islamic followers. Some of them no-go areas where the police will not go.
The British Isles stood up against the last evil aggressor until the US came into WWII. Now I am afraid that it maybe the end of the UK as we know it. Sharia law is being encouraged, young women are attacked and raped and the "passive" Muslims do nothing to curb their thuggish young men.
Even the politicians are abandoning the British and fawning over the Muslims because they see their power base being supported by immigrants who will, when convenient ride over them.
It is sad, but maybe when the oil in the North Sea runs out and times get really hard, when the Brits realize that they are faced with massive social unrest, something may get done. If the damage is not too great by then.
Muslims are telling the dumb
Muslims are telling the dumb whites that they will kill them and take their wives as booty, just like Muhammad did. All of the good things the Brits did for Muslims like Londonspirit is for nothing.
Blacks are telling the Muslims to get off the boat. Americans are the last wArriors. If music is forbidden, No islam for us. If our women cannot sing and men can screw our little girls, then all of the penis attachments will be gone. If the black muslims listen to their arab masters then all of them need to go to mecca. We know no Black Muslims will go to paradise and we show them the verses and how they have been made fools of by Arabs and white muslims. 16,000 Africans leave islam yearly in Africa. About time.
Shame on France and the
Shame on France and the Frensh!
Disgusting, would be a compliment.
One other thing the French
One other thing the French helped Saddam with and that was the creation of WMDs. Those same WMDs used against the Kurds and also Iran.
A quote from the book, 'The Link, The Secret Relationship between Saddam and Al Qaeda', page 92:
"The truth is Iraq began its biological weapons laboratory in the mid-1970s. "At Saddam's request, Izzat al-Douri, a high-ranking Baath official who served on the Revolutionary Command Council as minister of agriculture, traveled to Paris Institut Merieux to set up Iraq's first bacteriological laboratory." After getting the biological agent laboratory up and running, in 1975 Saddam begtan working on chemical weapons. Saddam sought the means to produce pooison gases such as mustard, Tabun, and Sarin. Under the guise of agricultural development the manufacturing of lethal phosphorus based pesticides began. These pesticides had been banned in other Western countries due to their lethal qualities."
And as we all know their money ties to Saddam along with the Germans and English.
To tell the truth about all of this is that it doesn't surprise me. The French are selling their souls, as are many other countries in Europe. We sell ourselves to the Saudis - we have let them buy politicians, build up their mosques and export their wahabbi clerics to our lands. Local governments are caving in all the time to the Saudis. Our media and our schools are also in cahoots with all of this and the businesses are bullied into caving in to Muslim demands.
the French are particularly disturbing in that they allowed over 700 senstive urban areas to develop that are dangerous to non-Muslims (while muslims fully expect safe passage out of those areas!). And I guess it is happening in the UK also. It is happening here in the USA too! We have compounds that have some questionable activities going on and they are just let to their own - where is the FBI/ATF for all of this?! It is run by a Pakistani terrorist - Sheikh Gilani (Saudi usually funds these guys from Pakistan too).
Somehow looking at all these
Somehow looking at all these developments , I feel Satan is gaining an upper hand , the world will have to contend with another bloodbath in name of religion and this time it will be a much slower and more painful one , things which make me feel like an atheist at times
First death to the dictators.
First death to the dictators. I don't have any respect for any government that reckonises the facists who oppress the Iranian people as legitimate.
Second, if you want to liberate countries why don't you call for north korea or china being liberated? Or any other communist country for that matter?

I don't know what your point is in a question like that. Do you think we should just ignore what is going on in Iran because we are not demanding the same thing in those countries you mention?
I have seen this before from people from the left - start demanding that countries stop their atrocities, then do absolutely nothing themselves about anything. And if we do go in and help a people then they start whining that we are in there. How come the left is silent on the plight of women in islam? How come the left is silent about the atrocities that happen against Christians in the Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, etc?
Personally, taking on a cause is a very, demanding thing to do and spreading oneself so thin that doesn't help at all. Should we all just sit back and do nothing? Would you prefer that? I, myself, am in Act for America and we take on a specific cause - why don't you start a grass roots movement and take on the cause you mention? Or do nothing - that is what most people do.

The key word is "OIL". The left dare to criticize China (strong rival both economic and military) or North Korea because those countries don't have anything valuable to them plus they already have big muslim population ready to make chaos anytime if you dare to say anything about islam.
Just for the record: French
Just for the record: French soldiers and their officers fought bravely against the German invasion in WWII.
Unfortunately by that time war was already lost through the actions of their cowardly politicians.
German generals cautioned Hitler against sending all of his army into Poland in September 1939, they said that the French will be able to walk into Berlin. Hitler rightly assessed the French leaders and said that they will not dare. He also quibbled that the famed Maginot Line, was protecting Germany against France.
Also, the Communists had an important role in the 1940 defeat of French. They were ostensibly "pacifists", while in reality they were siding with Soviets, and therefor with their at that times allies the Nazis. The French "pacifists" were opposing French militarization politically and also actively sabotaged tanks and other armament coming out of Satory Factory.
Today, too, the die-hard French communists and their "progressive" ideology, are behind support for everything Muslims and everything anti-American.
The French leadership seems
The French leadership seems to have a split personality. Sarkowzy complained to the Swedish Prime Minister that there are too many muslims in Europe and says the burkha is not acceptable in France. Then he and the French Government promote the Euromed Project which would mean unfettered immigration into the EU of muslims from North Africa.
Mind you it's more than irritating to hear Americans moaning about the Europeans being feeble. Vietnam, the Lebanon, Somalia and now Afghanistan and Iraq spring to mind. The rescue mission in Iran under Charge-in Charlie wasn't exactly a rip-roaring success either.
Still Grenada was a medal-worthy victory I suppose. At least Clint made a movie about that rarity - a post-Korean War American victory.
The USA seems about to let Israel down now.
Jacques ChIraq was just a trouble-maker and soon forgotten. Sarkowzy is a clown that most French people I've met consider an embarrassment.
Instead of sneering at each other perhaps Western countries should start moving together against Islam and the resurgent communism, our real enemies.
Stephen wrote, "Still Grenada

I was in the military when Granada happened - Reagon was in office at that time.
Clinton is the guy who put us into Kosovo/Bosnia helping muslims slaughter more Christians. And they were so thankful they erected a monument to Clinton and gave to the DNC (I know of them giving money in 2004, but maybe they did in 2000 also). Saudi princes' 'fingerprints' were in personal computers we discovered, as was Al Qaeda. source: The Revenge of the Prophet
What Clinton did was just wrong - he put us in there before understanding the area's history. If he understood one bit of it he would have had us helping the Christians. And as usual we - our media and politicians - helped the biggest wailers and whiners! Those who were incensed that an infidel would dare touch them even after they attacked and tortured the population in their decades of jihad!
Just as Saudi princes' 'fingerprints' were discovered in Saddam's Iraq shortly after we went in there - along with Al Qaeda. source: The Link, The Secret Relationship between Saddam and Al Qaida
