Don't blame Islam for terror?
Don't blame Islam for terror?
This sure is an old, stale song, isn't it? From Western government officials to crybaby Muslim organizations, efforts to avoid speaking the truth about the world's most violent belief system continue.
While no one should expect many of the Muslim community leaders to be honest when they discuss their faith or their ambitions, political correctness and appeasement on the part of Western leaders is going to result in thousands or more being killed or injured unless they stop being imbeciles, straighten their spines, and stop lying to the public about Islam.
From President George W. Bush, to British Prime Minister Tony Blair, to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, and anyone else who puckers up for votes, we hear the same line from them about the Islamic belief system. That "Islam is peace." That Islam has been "hijacked by terrorists."
September 2001--George W. Bush: (as Nihad Awad from CAIR stood within feet of him) "The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. That's not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace. These terrorists don't represent peace. They represent evil and war."
"This is a great country. It's a great country because we share the same values of respect and dignity and human worth. And it is my honor to be meeting with leaders who feel just the same way I do. They're outraged, they're sad. They love America just as much as I do."

From the President's 2004 inaugural speech: "In America's ideal of freedom, the public interest depends on private character - on integrity, and tolerance toward others, and the rule of conscience in our own lives. Self-government relies, in the end, on the governing of the self. That edifice of character is built in families, supported by communities with standards, and sustained in our national life by the truths of Sinai, the Sermon on the Mount, the words of the Koran, and the varied faiths of our people. Americans move forward in every generation by reaffirming all that is good and true that came before - ideals of justice and conduct that are the same yesterday, today, and forever".
October 10, 2005--Nancy Pelosi: "As Muslims around the world recognize the holy month of Ramadan, we take this opportunity to celebrate the contributions of millions of Muslim Americans. They enrich our country while deepening America's respect for Muslims here at home and around the world. As they observe this sacred month, they honor Islam's teachings of self-discipline, compassion and commitment to family."

March 21, 2006--Tony Blair: "I speak with great diffidence and humility as a member of another faith. I am not qualified to make any judgments. But as an outsider, the Koran strikes me as a reforming book, trying to return Judaism and Christianity to their origins, rather as reformers attempted with the Christian Church centuries later. It is inclusive. It extols science and knowledge and abhors superstition. It is practical and way ahead of its time in attitudes to marriage, women and governance."

How these people can expect to run the world's leading nations from Fantasy land is anyone's guess. The "small minority of Muslim extremists" is anything but small, and thanks to the sheer ignorance of our collective immigration officials about the Islamic belief system, these delinquent, hateful nut jobs are spread out all over the West, as our friends and neighbors in Canada have recently learned.
If prominent Muslims and Western politicians feel that Islam shouldn't be blamed for Islamic terror, then what, or whom should be?
While there are Muslims who go about their lives, getting along with people, and never starting any trouble, so many more young Muslims all over the world could grow up to be freedom loving people if it weren't for the Imams, Mullahs and royalty in both Africa and the Middle East, who force feed them from birth that Islam is the only way, that the Qur'an is the only word, that all other religions are illegitimate, and that they must hate Western culture because it is really the West that oppresses them.
With this type of mindset, instilled into them since they were infants, are they a reasonable candidate for migration to the West? Isn't it time for our elected leaders to put a stop to this charade, and just be honest with everyone for once?
Isn't it time for them to round up Muslim Imams, clerics, and civil rights organizations living among us and tell them that the time has come for them to stop their bitching and bellyaching, rid their own community of Islamic militants, both immigrant and homegrown, or fend for themselves?
Perhaps the elected leaders in the West who can't seem to see what most everyone else can see should read the entire Qur'an instead of a few selected verses, which for all we know, may have been pointed out to them by these same whining Muslim groups.
Has Bush, Blair, Pelosi, McKinney, or any other elected official ever read Qur'an 48:29?
What about 5:51, 9:5, 8:12, or 8:65?
The potential for Muslims to be peaceful exists, but not if they continue to have the words of jihad and war against the "unbelievers", words that are found in the Qur'an, driven into them.
The stance taken by Muslim "leadership" that Westerners should take on the responsibility of spending billions of dollars annually on counter terrorism just so Muslims can live in the West is not only arrogant, but uneconomical. Is a Muslim community worth all of these tax dollars being spent every year?
It is what it is. The staggering costs of counter terrorism efforts in the United States and the West overall can be attributed to what Islam has produced. As of today, since 9/11, Muslims have carried out 5113 terrorist attacks.

But no matter what, don't blame Islam. After all, it is the "religion of peace", right?
