PDF versionIslam is an old religion. Some of its teachings may not applicable today. But Islam was and still is a great religion with a billion of believers. Islam played an important part in human civilization.
The greatness of a belief is not determined by the number of its adherents but by its coherence and its inherent truths, its usefulness and practicability. There was a time that everyone believed that the Earth was flat. All philosophers and prophets concurred and the common sense confirmed it. Yet it was not true.
Islam did play an important part in human civilization. But was that a positive or a negative role? How many human lives were sacrificed at the altar of Allah? Muhammad exterminated the Jews of Arabia who called that land home for 2000 years. They had alliances with their Arab compatriots and intermarried with them. They were completely Arabianized. There was no religious conflict in Arabia. Not only Muhammad introduced religious intolerance, he undertook the ethnic cleansing of the Arabia and instigated a divinely ordained hatred between his followers and others that is taking its toll up to this day. His command to kill the idolaters destroyed much more human lives in 1400 years than Hitler succeeded to destroy in 13 years. An estimated 280 million lives have been lost because of Islam and we are still counting. Only in India the death toll was over 90 million.
New research shows that it was Islam that destroyed the Classical Civilization and halted the progress of Europe for nearly 1000 years.
Yes Islam had a great impact on the world, but we paid a hefty price for that devastating impact. The suffering and backwardness of Islamic nations is the result of that impact.

i think to say that islam impacted negatively on the world is one that looks at one side of the barrel. the horrible misfortunes have lead to unfortunate misconceptions....it was done in the face of islam....what needs to be researched is what islam realy means and not what extremists interpret it as. i can take any religion....mutate it to my twisted ways and declare that it has negative impacts on the world...unfortunately islam is the religion that has been twisted in horrible ways.

i dont understand what your problem is!!!!!you say that you want to free people from this religion...who are you to define what freedom means to different people. freedom to me is having to express what you believe openly without being harrased (i think you would find this even in the childrens' bill of rights). do not act like you know what freedom is...because you dont....live your life the way you want it....dont expect people to adhere to your beliefs, and when you show some respect and professionalism...maybe then you wont be seen as a so called "freedom fighter" with no personal interest.

This website is an insult to intelligent human beings. The so called Dr. Ali Sina thinks that he is so smart. In fact, every negative statement about Islam or the prophet Mohammed that is said on this web site is false. I wonder if the so called Dr. Ali Sina has studied logic or what is Type Alpha and Type Beta errors are. This web site uses Type Alpha errors to mislead the unfortunates who did not pass or have a degree in logic or mathematics. The so called Dr. Ali Sina is challenged to reply to this posting and show a solid prove to every negative claim he is making about Islam or the prophet Mohamed in a logical and mathematical way. Hear say is not an acceptable proof in logic and mathematics. Proofs presented here by so call Dr. Ali Sina are a hear say and are simply a logical fallacy. These proofs do not concur to logical standards and simply are wrong and misleading.

I have been reading about ALL religions recently, I don’t believe in ANY, yet I don’t go on and attack it without proofs or in an uncivilized way. Did you know how many have been killed under the name of Christianity and Judaism, so whats the hypocrisy for?
Have you ever read the filthy Talmud? Where Jews are allowed to violate (have sex) with 3 year olds and children under the age of 9. The Talmud allows Jews to kill, steal, rape and cheat gentiles, that’s why jews were exiled 109 times throughout history, because they were practicing those teachings, so the reason why muslims kicked out jews is quite understandable, its quite stupid to use that as an argument to prove the guilt of Islam. Plus if you claim u know about the Islamic history, you would know that they kicked them out because they betrayed them and gave information to their enemy to attack them although they were living peacefully with Muslims
Now, if u want to prove to muslims or non-muslims that Islam is man-made as all religions, then do it logically and always back it up with facts, if you make such stupid arguments to spread hate, you’ll immediately loose creditability. I’m outta here.

Sina here just keeps claiming and claiming to his heart's content. Since he owns the website, he gets to decide what ends where. If he really believes in this shit, I challenge him to show his face, and take on Muslim scholars on stage.

Truth is christianity was spread by the sword, whether it be Spanish for 'gold or glory' or the Crusades in which they even pillaged and killed their own Christian cities. Have they reformed? Check out the last systematic genocide in history where Christians in Bosnia "cleansed out" thousands of Muslims. And thats just one. Maybe I should make a website too!! But I have a life, and like other Muslims feel pretty damn secure with my beliefs to harass other people's. :)
Christianity was systematically spread with priests being assigned to missions. Nothing happened like that with Islam. When did the Muslim sword ever come to Indonesia, the greatest Muslim populated country.

I can only answer imperfectly to these posts, but.... It seems to us Westerners and Indians that there somehow is a huge Islamic propaganda, distorting history, which Muslim clerics, people tell the World, their fellows and their children. Because we keep hearing all these claims about how great Islam is in comparison with other religions, and Muslims compared with other humans. This is now countered with observing Muslims and their bad and good behavior in past and present and analysing it and commenting on it. It is a necessity to balance the often shocking history-distorting propaganda of Muslims themselves. And yes, it is often about meticulously sourced material and undeniable facts happening through Muslims.
And freedom. Sara's goal is perfect but now FFI/ Islam Watch/ Jihad Watch in a global review, show us how this very freedom is denied followers of other beliefs in Islamic countries. The laws and practices about apostates is a good starting point. How on earth can Muslims condone these laws and practices that let other Muslims kill, jail, heavily intimidate apostates from Islam, while at the same glorifying the growth of Islam by conversion in Democratic countries, where these converts are totally unhindered. Then Muslims come here complaining about Ali Sina + his fellows who expose this! These undeniable facts. For EVERY honest person it should be reason to confront the Muslims who still practice this.
But I see the point about the burden of proof on the claimers and accusers. We could modify our view, but if Islam had nothing to do with all these crimes against humanity, it also was not capable of stopping them in any significant way. It is by now proven that it is very prone, vulnerable to be misused by misguided followers. And this should be reason to be modest about its effectiveness and NOT let it rule without fair elections anywhere in the world in the future.
