One of the issues Dennis

One of the issues Dennis Prager discussed in the video was Keith Ellison's use of the Quran during his swearing in ceremony. Ellison used Thomas Jefferson's Quran to lend a degree of historical respectability to this stunt. Jefferson's Quran was a 1734 translation by George Sale. This book begins with a 145 page Preliminary Discourse which asserts among other things that Muhammad was an impostor and that none of the Quran came from God. If Ellison knew more about Jefferson's Quran, he would have never used it for his swearing in. See a fuller discussion of this point at http://www.annaqed.com/en/content/show.aspx?aid=16198

A couple of years ago when I

A couple of years ago when I was ignorant about Islam and the history of America I actually wrote a paper supporting Keith Ellison's use of the Quran during his swearing in. I used to be one of those diversity/multiculti fruitcakes. By the way there is nothing rational in the liberal belief of multiculturalism, it is purely a form of intellectual stupidity and emotionalism.

Thank you very much for

Thank you very much for hosting the videos of Dennis Prager's talk to an American audience somewhere in America. It was good to see both Jews and non-Jews in the audience appreciating the points he made.

Although I disagree with his premise ( viz: that there is nothing wrong with the religion itself but that the fault lies with the errant practitioners of the said religion), I wholeheartedly concurred with the logic of most of his arguments.

His observation of how the MSM l journalists lazily "borrow" from the writings of more senior jounalists/academics rang very true a number of years ago .It was around the reporting in the British MSM of the unprovoked burning to death of 58 Hindu pilgrims by an Indian mob of thousands of Muslims and the subsequent Godhra riots between the two communities.

Much was made of the death of Muslims in the subsequent reaction and nothing was heard about the initial act of provocation ( the burning of the train carriages carrying the returning pilgrims). The trigger incident in the Western press was brushed aside as a mere footnote to their main concern-the deaths of the Muslim individuals. When challenged about their biased reporting of the incident (focussing on the Muslim fate and ignoring what caused the retaliation by the bereaved Hindus) the Western journalist said they took their accounts from the local Indian media ( instead of carrying out their own investigations.)

Mr Prager initially said that there were only two countries in the world where the Jews were blessed and not cursed-one was USA . He failed to go on to mention that the other country was India where Jews ,fleeing Islamic persecution as Mohammed's armies swept across Asia Minor and Major , settled and thrived and contributed to India's mosaic society. A Mosaic society which was imbued with the values of their Vedic ( Hindu ) Dharma

His appeal to the Jews to support CHABAD also was a noble sentiment. Having met many Jews in Britain who hid their Jewish identity /denied it /or were ignorant of it, I endorse his call for Jews to wake up to the their history, and subsequently their contemporary identity. in order to ensure their continued survival as a faith and ethnic community who can continue to make positve contributions to Western Civilization and culture.

I would like to pose a question for Mr Prager , however. Or maybe it is a challenge.......why does he not mention and include on his Religion on Line program scholars from the Buddhist, Sikh, Jain and Hindu faiths?
