False Portrayal Islam and Muhammad by the Hindu Monks:
The UDBODHAN is the monthly organ of Belur based Ramakrishna Math & Mission, published in Bengali and edited by Swami Mumukshanandaji Maharaj, a monk of the Ramakrishna Order. A few month ago the said magazine carried an article in the editorial page titled “Jagat jurey udaar surey aanandagaan baajey” (The song of bliss, in generous tune, is ringing across the globe) . At the beginning of the article, the editor of the magazine wrote, “Every religion, in its real sense, is eternally generous and great. And its inherent purity, spiritualism and universal ideals are capable of establishing oneness among the scattered human race. On the other hand, when man, in the name of religion, starts to practice superstitions, meanness and narrow- mindedness, he brings divisions between man and man through dispute and quarrel and hence gets misguided. Why such things happen? According to the author, man behaves like that when he gets deviated from the principal ideals of religion.”
While discussing the life of Prophet Muhammad, the author wrote, “The life of the Prophet, the originator of Islam, and the day to day conduct of the Caliphs is a clear mirror that reflects, irrespective of time, the universally acceptable ever bright and ever pure image of Islam. We have experienced the Prophet’s unlimited patience and endurance from his poverty-stricken life in an extremely unfavourable environment in Mecca. On the other hand, what we have learned from his life and deeds in Medina is an example of kindness and forgiveness, though he was then the undeclared king of the city. As a matter of fact, the personal and religious conducts of his great life has been acknowledged as his priceless teachings. And hence Islam is a religion of patience and endurance, and a religion of kindness and forgiveness – or in a nutshell, a religion of love and compassion.”
The author continued, “The eternal truth, that Islam preaches, is written in the seminal book, the holy Koran, of Islam. It (the contents of the Koran) has not given pre-eminence to any country, any nation or any particular religion. On the contrary, it has dignified honest people of any faith irrespective of country, nation and time. In the after life, only the loving and pure people have been recognized as successful people by the Creator (Allah). The reward assigned for them by the Creator is calld ‘Jannah’. And this aspect has been declared many times in a thunderous voice in the Koran”.
After reading the above paragraphs, one has to conclude that the author has written all these things neither as an honest academic discussion on Islam nor out of his ignorance about the faith. But he has written the article with a vile motive- to deceive the kafirs, including the Hindus. Whosoever has even a slightest knowledge about the life of the Prophet of Islam and that of its first four caliphs, cannot write that their day to day life reflects bright and ever pure image of Islam. It is well known that, except the first caliph Abu-bakr, later three caliphs, namely Omar, Usman and Ali, fell to assassins’ knives. The first caliph Abu-bakr would have had a similar tragic fate, had he not relinquished the post voluntarily. These facts do not suggest that Islam is a religion of love and compassion and it propagates ever pure and ever bright eternal message. On the contrary, it propagates a message of hate and bloodshed. Many great thinkers expressed the same view about Islam through their writings and many of them held the notion that this world would have been a better place for human living, had the bloody message of Koran not been reveled to Prophet Muhammad.
While commenting on Islam, the Nobel Laureate poet Rabindranath Tagore once said, “Two or three different religions claim that only their own religions are true and all other religions are false and their religions are only ways to Heaven. Hence conflict with them cannot be avoided. Such, fundamentalism tries to abolish all other religions. This is called Bolshevism in religion.” [Essay “atma parichay”]. Had Islam been a religion of peace and compassion, Rabindranath never would have commented like this.
In another occasion, Rabindranath said, “There are two religions on the earth, which have distinct enmity against all other religions. These two are Christianity and Islam. They are not satisfied with just observing their own religions, but are determined to destroy all other religions. That’s why the only way to make peace with them is to embrace their religion.” [The above is a part of a letter written by Rabindranath Tagore to Sri Kalidas Nag on 7th Asar, 1329 Bangabda (Bengali era), compiled in the Complete Works of Rabindranath (in Bengali), published by Viswabharati University, 1982, Vol – 24, p – 375 (tr – the author)]
Rabindranath also observed, “A very important factor which is making it almost impossible for Hindu-Muslim unity to become an accomplished fact is that the Muslim can not confine their patriotism to any one country. I had frankly asked the Muslims whether in the event of any Mohammedan power invading India, would they (Muslims) stand side by side with their Hindu neighbors to defend their common land or join the invaders. I was not satisfied with the reply I have obtained from them….. Even such a man as Mr. Mohammed Ali (one of the famous Ali brothers, the leaders of the Khilafat Movement) has declared that under no circumstances it is permissible for any Mohammedan, whatever be his country, to stand against any Mohammedan”. [Appeared as Interview of Rabindranath in English daily the ‘Times of India’ April 18, 1924 in the column - “Through Indian Eyes.” ]
There is no doubt that Rabindranath was a great patriot and an honest man and hence he never hesitated to expose Islam in its true colour before his Hindu countrymen. But the treacherous and dishonest monks of R K Mission are trying to sell a hyena as an innocent lamb. They are trying hard to hide the bloody sword of Islam and projecting it as a religion of love and compassion. There is no doubt that by their treacherous portrayal of Islam, they are incurring the curse and wrath of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda, the founder of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, from their heavenly abode and someday, sooner or later, they will have to pay a heavy price for their treachery and deception.
It is needless to say that Islam has nothing that may be called spiritualism. In this context, it would be relevant to quote an observation of Bertrand Russel on Islam. He said, “Among religions, Bolshevism is to be reckoned with Mohammedanism rather than with Christianity and Buddhism, Christianity and Buddhism are primarily personal religions, with mystical doctrines and a love of contemplation. Mohammedanism and Bolshevism are practical, social, unspiritual (doctrines), concerned to win the empire of this world.” [Practice and Theory of Bolshevism, Allen & Unwin, London, 1921, p-5] But the author of the article “jagat jure udaar sure aananda gaan baaje” asserts that Islam has a spiritual faculty and it prescribes five stages of spiritual practice, namely Iman, Shariat Tarikkat Marefath and Hakkikkat.
It has been mentioned that Islam prescribes entering Allah’s brothel called paradise (jannah) as the ultimate goal of human beings, for which no spiritual practice is required. Surrendering to Allah’s Koran and Allah’s Prophet, and embracing the true religion of Muhammad is sufficient for entering Allah’s brothel. Islam provides six Kalemas or sentences of oath and for believing in the first Kalema, or Kalema Taib, that reads “La ilaha illalla mahammadur rasullulah” (or Allah is the only God to be worshipped and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah) , a Muslim earns sufficient merit for entering Allah’s brothel or Jannah. Therefore Islam has no headache for spiritualism.
In this context, one should recall that the creed of Islam was originated by the illiterate and pastoral people of the deserts of Arabia, who did not know anything beyond stomach and sex. And that is the reason; the ultimate destination of Islam is Jannah, a place with ample food and profuse sensuality. So, only a fool will go for searching spiritualism in Islam.
It should be mentioned here that, according to Islam, jihad or waging war against the non-believers is the best form of worshiping Allah. But so long as the Prophet lived in Mecca, jihad or fighting was forbidden for the Muslims. But after his migration (hijrat) to Medina, Allah at first gave them permission to fight and subsequently made fighting obligatory for every able Muslim (2.190 ; 22. 39). So Allah said, “Hence when you meet them who disbelieve, smite them on their necks till when you have killed or wounded many of them” (47.4). And at the same time, Allah made spoils, acquired by doing jihad, lawful for the Muslims.
So it becomes evident that the believers in Allah’s Koran and Allah’s Prophet should aspire for acquiring spoils, in this world, by launching jihad against the kafirs. Or in other words, their aim in this world is to kill the kafirs, to loot their property, to rape their women, to set their houses on fire and so on and so forth. So, in plain words, their business in this world is murder, theft, robbery, loot, arson etc. and their ultimate goal, in the other world, is to enter Allah’s Paradise or Allah’s five star luxury brothel. Allah never says, in Koran, that, O believers, you lead an honest, moral, ethical and a decent life, be educated by receiving education and raise your moral character. On the contrary, Allah gives them clean chit to commit any crime, foulest deed and to break any law through His promise that He would pardon every crime and every misdeed of the believers for the merit of their accepting Islam. So, only a stupid person can say that Islam is a religion of love and compassion and the Koran carries the message of universal brotherhood.
There is no doubt that Islam is gobbling up India by the demographic aggression or by increasing their population. They are increasing their numbers by (1) polygamy, (2) pre-planned and deliberate rejection of the family-planning measures, (3) illegal infiltration of Muslims from Bangladesh and by (4) conversion of Hindus to Islam. At this hour of crisis, it is the duty of the monks of the Ramakrishna Mission to make the Hindus alert about this imminent danger by projecting the real face of Islam and its Prophet. But unfortunately, they are misguiding the Hindus and leading them astray by their false portrayal of Islam, and by propagating the wrong notion that all religions are same and every religion should be respected. This kind of propaganda is not only offensive but criminal.
These ignorant monks perhaps do not know that, when the Muslims wage their jihad, they would become their first victims. They should know that they incur much more wrath and hatred of the Muslims than ordinary Hindus, as they wear saffron garbs. According to Islamic scriptures, saffron (even yellow) is the colour of the kafirs and strictly forbidden for the Muslims. During the destruction of Nalanda by Bakhtiar Khilji, all the Buddhist monks of Nalanda were slain en masse, because they were in saffron garb. In this context, one may recall that a RKM monk, called Punylokananda has been severely beaten up by the Muslims, nearly 6 months ago in the village Gorerhat in the district of South 24-Parganas, West Bengal. They also are not aware that all their maths would be converted into masjids and all the educational institutions run by them would be turned into madrassas.

I had to read Swami Maharaj's words twice to make sure I wasn't dreaming when I first read them. Surely he cannot possibly be referring to the cult of Islam and its vile prophet in his glowing tribute? I am pretty sure that he is not confusing them with some other religion and is deliberately trying to confuse people with these utter lies.

I happen to know to know some little part of spiritual and religious development in India. Political situation in India is not hidden from anyone.
There is lot suffered by Hindus in Subcontinent as they were not united. History also shows the same traits. All patriotic figures from India who fought against invaders were scattered. Such ideology is far more dangerous. Since then there is political trait in India is to care for and preserve Muslim interest. The politicians are successful in carving out Hindu population into sub vote banks. On other hands you can't subdivide zombies further. This ultimately creates problem for these Hindus in long run. Why you still have different Civil laws? On one side you mention India being secular and on other side you divide people providing them different judgment and facilities based on Religion and casts. The laws are made as per their convenience and on your expense.

Gandhi was unjustly lionized by the British when they realized they had to quit India honorably after Bose`s INA was able to successfully mobilize and wage a war aginst the British in the easter sector. INA was defeated, but it lead to naval mutiny in Bombay and troop uprisings elsewhere. British realized they could not stand another mutiny on the lines of 1857 which was brewing in India, so instead decided to deal with Congress and Gandhi to work out some face-saving compromise, fragment India and quit.

In Chanakya`s jurisprudence, he had devised two positions called Durgpals and Antapals meaning Governors of frontiers and the forts. The Governor of frontier during Maurya reign was always the crown prince. He had to prove his mettle by successfully guarding the frontiers. Ashoka. who later on became the emperor, was the Governor of frontier during the rule of his father Bindusara, who extended the rule beyond afghanistan to central asia.
During Kanishka`s reign (ie 1st century AD), the denizens of frontier territories turned buddhist, with prime importance to Ahimsa. That is when the trugulent tribes like muslim arabs came and took roots in India in later centuries.

The sunday services there are nothing but the congregation of old people with ugly voices and same boring rituals of the anglican and catholic churches. There is no charisma, spark or entertainment to lure young people in the church. They are still stuck in the middle ages church dogmas that have no place in this very age. Chanakya had the foresight and unified the country as a nation in the same period as of Qin. It continued for some hundred years. Unlike Qin India never killed philosophers and promoted only one. There were too many free thinkers in the society. This gave rise to new philosophies, traditions, practices and even religions. The new religions like Buddhism, Jainism killed were very pacifistic and influenced Hinduism also. They insisted on protecting enemies also till their heart changes. It seem that this also killed the big ambitions in minds of kings to have one big empire. The society was not bound in single thread of a common principle.
History doesn't say any of big troubles between the Kingdom, but they were not even in good terms. The attitude of looking the subcontinent as nation was lost. So it seems like the the kings had lost the nation as identity, which Chanakya had put forth. They remained mostly divided. All battles against all invader right from Muhammad bin Qasim to Babur were resisted by the respective Kingdoms. It looks like all other Kingdoms looked at it as problem of the other country. The kingdoms resisted only when their borders were at burning. History also suggests that in later part the Southern kingdom united against this, but at that time the invaders were already much powerful and versed with all bad and good war practices, which could not be handled by them.
If from history we don't learn then we will never and perish. United we stand, divided we fall.

i like what you write, but do you really see Hindus uniting against Islamic Imperialism. I mean 600 years of barbaric islamic rule failed to unite the Hindus, the only time hindus were united was under Gandhi the nut case. There is something inbuilt in the Hindu psche which makes Hindus prone to passifistic philosophies. Hindus are so much in love with their pacifistic, non-voilent mage that they just don't want to see the truth.
Most of the urban middle class hindu youth is pathetically prone to theories of non-voilence, to the extent that it really sucks. For Hindus its me and my family, and they don't give a shit to what happens to either the nation or to their identity. Unfortunately, passimistic offshoots like Jainism and Buddhism have influenced the core of Hindu society. The change is slowly taking place with some good Hindu organisations. The reason why Muslims hate Hindu right-wing is because of the fact that they know these people are capable of fighting back. i've limited knowledge of oriental history and hinduism and trying to understand it. The histoy of subcontinent is hard on people. The poverty, big competetion to survive. it is easy to understand it,as country was constantly plundered, ravaged and robbed for past 1000 years. under british rule common man was robbed. You correctly said the Hindus were taught and were told of pacifistic ways, such people are easy to rule for power hungry bastards. Gandhi was such a tool British used correctly. No other leader or freedom fighter got such liberties like him. In making him national figure was lot of propaganda involved and money from congress party members. The selfish people invested and carefully put their bets on it, so as to get full benefit once india is freed. After 60+ <ears of freedom people are still struggling for basic needs. This explains political will. They wish to keep masses uneducated, without national notion and encashing patriotism and religion.
In more wider view, the population seeing themselves on their own, try to be defensive and struggle for survival than thinking of big picture. In current scenario, the hindus are trying to get better life quality through hardwork and education. While muslims in India are busy producing more bastard zombies. They don't think of the life quality and facilities they could provide to offspring. Lack of education make them more fanatic and adamant. Those who get education are paraded in muslim society, but their opinion concerning muslim society and religion is not taken into consideration in community. This difference make the population psychology different.
The education what people are getting is same as what british had out lined i.e. to produce more slaves for running the machine. Without political will, the trend is changing very slowly. This also will tell you why India is backward in production industry and good in service industry besides having the best brains. For the hinduism I know doesn't condemn any emotion. It condemns the addiction of it and inappropriateness of it. Hate you need to otherwise, one can't improve yourself critically and get rid of bad things in you, anger you need to destroy evil and fight life threatening elements. Lust for good things and impeccability can't be wrong. This intellectual being doesn't understand that when Hinduism was formed, there was no other religion. Rather religion concept was not even existing. There was spiritualism and the philosophical views. The intellectuals were experimenting and experiencing and adding to the philosophical and intellectual wealth into it. I think this process is still continued today. This flexibility of Hinduism is the key that it existed till today after so many adversities.
Just like in science either it is true or not. Similarly it is the case of Hinduism. It is just assemblage of philosophies, spiritual experiences. So where is point of converting. This made a big tradition and started a big culture. The diversity of all converge into this culture. That is the beauty of it. A sort of free thinkers society. I was surprised to know that In original Hinduism there is no conversion process, but everyone is free to practice it. As conversion or hindu is not guaranteed of Heaven. The deeds matters as it is said by Karma philosophy. I interpret it as every human is free being and comes under cosmic rule and bound by universal soul, so where and what are you converting and to what? If they see God in everyone then what importance conversion has? It also means all born are Hindus. You can convert a person into some religion by some external rituals, what about the nature of the person. Does a criminal converted to Islam or some religion in some prison be absolved of his crimes? Will his criminal attitude change?
the conversion process what exists today is just a cleansing process and just has ritualistic importance so as the people could come back to the society and lead their life. Nothing more. I don't see any Hindu crusades or religious missions in history. Even unlike Buddhism, no convoy or message was sent to anywhere. It is free belief system.

It is extremely important that we form groups with like minded people. Once people like us come together under a single umbrella and make our show of strenght (not by voilent means) people will be attrated towars us. They will have to stand up and see why Ex-Muslims and Hindus are coming together to fight an evil such as this. I am sure the numbers will increase with time. We need to work with the zeal of Missionaries, spreading the good word around without being too domineering. Most people avoid such issues, by gradually they wil open their eyes and we have to make concentrated and united efforts at waking up people from their beauty sleep.
For me India is my religion and my life. I would rather give up my life fighting Islamists than be a Dhimmi. The day all of us think like that 90% of the battle is won. Psycological warfare is the most imporatnt form of warfare. I am saying this bcos I have some sort of millitary training. Let me give you a few examples of what you can do in your real life. Like if some calls you an RSS guy, ask them what is wrong in being an RSS guy? When you to sites like YouTUbe, make sure that you flag a couple of Islamic Videos, which glorify Jihad. Start making people feel bad about not doing anything and put fear into them. Do you know the reason of the grudge held against hindus in sindh & nothwest frontier province of INDIA(dar-al-harb).Once the Khilafat movement got radicalized,the muslims wanted to shift to Afghanistan.(Dar-al-islam)hence muslims from sindh & northwest frontier(about 18000) sold their houses,land & other immovable items & left to kabul.But the Afghan govt did not identify itself with pan islam & kicked them out.These frustrated,hungry & penniless muslims returned & claimed their property back from the Hindus.Hindus rightly refused to part with the property.hence many muslims resorted (what else) to violence to get their property back.This was one major reason for increased hindu-muslim riots after the khilafat movement.
See the stupidity of these muslims.Who in his right frame of mind will give up everything for a cause (which itself is debatable).Then others have to suffer for their stupidity.
