Let me tell you the story of Krishna. There was a demon king who kidnapped 16000 girls and kept in his palace for his enjoyment. Krishna killed that demon and released all the girls. Those girls feared that they may not live dignified life in society as they were raped by Demon king. To provide them social security, krishna gave them the status of his wives so that they can live in the society without fear.

And mind you Mr. AMIM, we Hindus never stuck to our Holy Scriptures. These scriptures are just a guiding vehicle to us. These scriptures itself say that everything in this world CHANGE with time. Nothing is static. Hence even we Hindus adopt ourselves to changing environment by following our Scriptures as a guiding vehicle. It's true that some selfish Bhramins manipulated the Hindu scriptures to take wrong advantages but this cannot alter the core philosophy of these scriptures.

Christians and Jews admit there is violence in the Bible, mainly the old testament and we acknowledge the violence in the Bible is not meant for generations of followers to carry out. The existance of King David is confirmed by archaeology, so I would say no it is not a mythological tale. Polygamy was a common practice amongst royalty in the Middle East and having that many wives was not an unusual practice back then, since the institution of marriage was used to gain political treaties and alliances.

By the way King Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines.

There is a short,sweet answer to this controversy. A Prophet HAS to set an example himself and be above the evil norms of his times. Mohammed did not do that but rather married and screwed 6/9 year old; looted , killed,also did the lowest thing by bedding his own daughter-in-law. How can Islam condemn such a noble act as adoption? Why do Muslims always point to Solomon? He did marry many women, but there is no record of any prophet ever taking another man's wife and saying God gave permission. Jesus and Moses both called that adultery of the heart.

As the cartoon correctly portrayed, muslims leave their brains outside the doors before entering the mosque. And very soon after praying 5 times a day, they forgot where they have left their brains and can't find it anymore.

The whole Quran should be transformed into Comic Strip so everyone could see it and read it. This is a great Idea. How come no one ever thought of this idea? Again it is a great idea and this will be more effective and everyone would be able to understand the Quran. No need to know Arabic, since almost everyone is visual and the majority of muslims are illiterate.
