LOGICALLY KNOWING ISLAM

The Islam Conundrum

The dictionary defines religion as, “The expression of man’s belief and reverence for a superhuman power recognized as the creator and governor of the universe.” By this definition Islam qualifies as religion, so do numberless others. Simply because someone or some people say that they believe in a superhuman deity and revere him, the belief is accorded the privileged status of religion?

But while I was glancing at the website of the Arabic online daily Elaph, I discovered Parts II & III of the series.
As is my method in my contributions to FFI, first I begin with excerpts from the article, and then end with my analysis and comments.
