John Kerry

Time To Go Home?

In the aftermath of the recent devastating earthquake in Iran, news media reported “a miracle”: a man, extracted from the rubble and thought to be dead, stirred on the way to the mass grave. At least two other similar cases were reported. When I read it, my first thought was: In the rush to bury the victims in order to avoid an epidemic, how many people failed to stir in time and were buried alive — for the second time within hours or, at most, days? How many of those would have been alive today had Iran not rejected Israel's offer of help?

US 2004 Presidential election is the central piece of talk everywhere in the US and around the world. Yes, George Bush is leading in the national polls again after the completion of three debates. Survey finds debates did not significantly change voters’ views of candidates. On October 18-19, 2004 polls in the various US media shows Bush is leading from 3-8 points except just one in which John Kerry was leading with 2 points only.

Muslims and the Religious Brain

Our beliefs and ideas make us human, and their quality determines the kind of human we are. We shield and fiercely defend our beliefs and ideas for good reasons: without their integrity and internal harmony, the mind becomes disorganized and even dysfunctional. While our inborn immune system fights off viruses and bacteria that aim to kill us, another immune system, mental immune system—MIS—gradually formed after birth, protects the mind and takes every measure to keep the mind’s ideas and beliefs on the same page.

You can disagree with Bush’s policies. Maybe you don’t like him praying to his God before making a decision.

US soldier in Iraq responds to 1st Debate!

I recently posted an article written by my friend Capt. Ron Hayes, who is stationed in Iraq . His validity was questioned by liberals, because they didn't want any credibility to be given to what Capt. Hayes said in that article.
