Islam can not co exist with any other religion be it Budhism, Hinduism, Christianity etc. It is clearly written in their holy book that all other faiths are destined for destruction and only islam can live. So no need for any debate.
Eric, you sound just like The Donald. Anyway, coexistence with muslims is impossible when they’re the majority. Minorities (including minor islamic sects) must either be butchered or subdued. That’s a sunnah.
